Hola viroids! We've got shit weather over here so been indoors all day. Needless to say that time is draaaging.

La I hope you feel better soon. Being ill sucks at the best of times, let alone with a bouncy baby. How is he liking the nursery?

Fruit could it be just general pp sweatiness?

I've added a blanket on O during the night and it seems to be helping a bit, although we still get crap nights sometimes. At least we get not so crap ones too...

Do your babies still poo at night? I swear DS didn't at this age, but she still does. I think the poo brewing is what wakes her up most of the time.

purpleporpoise · 31/05/2016 17:12

B doesn't poo at night. He's nearly 9 months now and has no interest in moving from where he's been put!

Spa day sounds lovely La, we're meant have one in July but nothing booked yet

Feed, poo, change. Feeding again so that she drifts off to sleep. And she does another poo. I give up!

CarrotPuff · 01/06/2016 11:14

We've got a dishwasher! We've got a dishwasher!

Makes a crazy dance

gaggiagirl · 01/06/2016 19:05

Yaaaay for the dishwasher. Mine was but a half life before my dishwasher

purpleporpoise · 01/06/2016 22:58

Yayyy I'd rather lose DH than dishwasher. only half kidding

Ola viroids! We are mostly well. L is pulling himself up on everything and generally causing mayhem!! Am trying g to freelance but have only just turned the laptop off!

CarrotPuff · 06/06/2016 14:01

Very quiet on here.

Sleep has been shit for the last couple days. This was after a couple better nights though. It has happened before, so gx she goes back to normal soon. So tired today.

This has been offset by O being more vocal and gurgling and cooing a lot more. She's such a sweetheart, makes my heart melt.

My mum is coming over on Thursday and then we are flying back to my homeland on Saturday. I'm looking forward to it and not at the same time!

What's everyone doing this sunny day? I desperately need a shower and wash my hair too but don't want to wake the children up.

lildottie · 07/06/2016 21:15

So I've graduated the grads. Shock now what! GrinGrinGrin

MaGratgarlik1983 · 07/06/2016 23:01

Ahhhhh congrats!!!!!

CarrotPuff · 07/06/2016 23:52

Congrats lil! Are you home yet?

rdm10 · 08/06/2016 01:57

Massive congrats lil welcome to mummyhood!

How hot is it! The sweatiness and general worry about roasting the baby is offset by the sheer volume of ice-cream I've eaten though!

Rubbish sleep here too carrot, H has been waking every 1-2 hours for the last couple of months but these last few weeks he's also decided that he hates his cot so he wakes up every hour or so then won't be put down! So I'm basically sat up with a baby on me until 3am-ish when I just push dh out and put H in bed with me. I'm hoping it's his cold and that this isn't a long-term thing!?!

Is it acceptable to punch your dh in the face? His snoring is driving crazy! In the tiny amount of time I don't have a baby in bed with me I can't sleep anyway because of the ridiculous noise dh is making 😤😤

CarrotPuff · 08/06/2016 10:50

Rdm i would murder my DP if we slept in the same bedroom while I'm doing night feeds. We aren't at the moment, and I'm enjoying it!

O actually woke up every 2-2.5h last night which wouldn't have been too bad if DS wasn't waking up in between too Confused

I've got so many things to get done today, but need to lift my arse off the sofa first!

lildottie · 08/06/2016 14:13

Got home 1am yesterday, so 12hours after the big event. Currently trying to balance bf issues, family politics and keeping ourselves alive as much as the baby! Thankfully a phone call to one of the hospital midwives at 2am has lead to dh figuring out what is not quite right with the bf so I can focus on that to make sure we get it right. My freezer full of colostrum has been a lifesaver these last couple of days! Will try and start reading to catch on where everyone is at but please bear with me Blush

lildottie · 14/06/2016 21:52

Did I kill the thread?

rdm10 · 15/06/2016 07:28

I'm still here! Thread is very quiet.

How's life as a mummy lil? How's the bfing going?

It's just dawned on me that I've only got 5 weeks until I go back into work for a week (I'm a teacher, so going back for the last week of term to go back on full pay, then off til September!). But I've never left H for more than a couple of hours!? I need to start leaving him with my mum to get us all ready pretty soon. I already know I'm going to hate it though 😞

lildottie · 15/06/2016 18:05

Hi RDM. Loving every second. Though I wouldn't mind a bit more sleep Grin

5weeks is ages, just ignore it and pretend it goes away?!? Blush I'm already dreading having to start working in September but at least I'm going to be wfh. Just not looking forward to the extra stress.

CarrotPuff · 15/06/2016 20:54

You never know RDM you might enjoy the break! How old is H now?

Glad all is going well lil, gx you won a baby lottery and K will start sleeping through in a couple weeks.

We've had an ok night last night except O was wide awake at 6am and didn't get back to sleep till gone 7 (I'm at my mum's now and we're 2h ahead, so we don't get up till after 9).

I want to go back home though. I can't go out in the evening and I'm feeling trapped. I need a plan how to abandon the baby for a night out or I'll go insane!

lildottie · 04/07/2016 02:46

What happened to everyone? It's such a shame the support of the conception and ante natal threads isn't still alive here Sad

DulcetMoans · 04/07/2016 20:03

I don't normally come in here nowadays but thought I would take a look. I think life just gets away from us nowadays - especially as many people are back at work. There aren't enough hours even if you are up all night!

How are you doing lil? Feel like you are getting into the swing of it? I remember it being pretty foggy at the beginning.

MaGratgarlik1983 · 06/07/2016 23:11

Hi viroids yep I think lack of time is a big Factor! L is ten and a half months and is such a great little man! Hope everyone is doing well :)

CountryGal4 · 11/07/2016 16:48

I'm still here!

DulcetMoans · 11/07/2016 20:26

Hi country and ma! How's it all going?

J is one this weekend. It's crazy how quickly it has come about. So quickly that I am totally unprepared! I have a cake order that my friend is making but that's about it. Hoping the weather will be nice and we can just go in the garden for a bit of a picnic.

purpleporpoise · 12/07/2016 22:26

No TK,e for much here it's back to work. B been ill for 3 weeks plus teething (now has 6!) and leap 7 means he's a grumpy arse and so am I!

TriJo · 16/07/2016 00:25

Also still here! C is 16 weeks on Monday, we're in a bit of a sunshine period at the moment where he sleeps the night and is not cluster-feeding! Off to Paris in the morning for a sneaky short weekend - finally using the Eurostar tickets we didn't get to use when I was 24 weeks pregnant because of the attacks.
