I know, it's so quiet! Where is everyone?

ZylaB · 11/05/2016 11:54

purpleporpoise · 11/05/2016 14:56

cookielove · 11/05/2016 14:59

I am here always reading! Don't have much to say these days as E is so much older than the majority of the group! But still here Smile

Well we had quite an eventful weekend. We ended up at a&e with H. He had a 5 hour nap on Saturday (which is totally unheard of here) but when he woke up he was sick and seemed a funny grey colour. Dh rang 111 but whilst on hold(!?!) H was getting more and more unresponsive and vacant so we threw him in the car and took him to a&e. The car ride was the scariest bit because he kept dozing off but it was getting harder and harder to wake him and 15 mins felt like ages. Typically, once we were there he seemed to perk up a little but they were really good with us and looked at him straight away (lucky on a Saturday night!). They kept him for obs but couldn't find anything wrong. He's got a blocked nose and they think that being sick whilst stuffy was just too tiring for him. Once he'd perked up I did feel like an overreactive pfb mum but the fact they did all the tests made me feel like I'd done the right thing. Fortunately he's absolute fine but it was a really awful, scary half hour! I'm guessing this is all part of being a mum!?
Hope everybody had a much less eventful weekend and was out enjoying the sunshine!

Oh gosh rdm that sounds terrifying! I'm still here but since DS has learned ho w to properly crawl qnd I'm freelancing it feels like I have no time ever!!

purpleporpoise · 12/05/2016 10:18

That sounds terrifying, hope he's ok now rdm

OP posts:
cookielove · 13/05/2016 21:36

Wow rdm how scary for you!

Glad he is OK!

lalalalaa · 13/05/2016 22:13

That sounds awful Rdm - I'd have been terrified and I'm sure no one thought you were being pfb

I do read but likewise I don't have a lot of time anymore and I'm knackered and rubbish. I've rejoined the JSing thread but haven't posted there either!

CountryGal4 · 14/05/2016 17:46

Glad things turned out OK rdm

I'm still here!

purpleporpoise · 17/05/2016 08:15

How we doing viroids? It's all a bit quiet around here.
We've just started leap 6 and it's not fun but I'm looking forward to the changes when he comes out of it. He's such a laid back happy boy and I hope that never changes thoughSmile

Ello! DS is properly moving now so things are not dull!! We also sold our jumperoo as he was crying every time he went in it! Got an activity tree with the money but he's more into books at the moment...! Started doing freelancing a bit more so feel like I'm always busy at the moment!

lalalalaa · 18/05/2016 08:04

Ma us too! B started crawling and cruising furniture standing up. It's a full time job watching him, he's fast! Absolutely lovely though and so funny. I love this stage!

He starts nursery today!

Hope you're all ok. I'm reading still! We've also started quest for no 2 and I feel really nervous about it all. We are not putting pressure on with temping or charting but I've got no periods so no idea if I'm icing. Dtd last night and I'm already wondering if the wee spermies are attacking my egg. Weirdo.

CarrotPuff · 19/05/2016 15:45

Oops, fell off the thread. Just marking my place, will post later.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 21/05/2016 13:51

Greetings! Was thinking of you all today whilst wandering asda with a screaming baby covered in vomit with my bra hanging out of my shirt... life with 3 girls is lovely even if I look like a train wreck... How you all doing? CakeBrewChocolateFlowersStarWine all round!

CarrotPuff · 22/05/2016 08:01

The sleep is shit. She wakes up every bloody hour. Can't believe I've got another shit sleeper!

We're off to SIL for a BBQ today. It's almost 2h drive so that will be fun with a moody toddler at the back... I can hear him tantruming downstairs while DP is making his porridge.

MaGratgarlik1983 · 24/05/2016 11:12

Morning viroids! We have manky colds here boo! Just trying to have some downtime at home to recover. Sky I know what you mean - it's mad enough with one DS but I've never been happier. Carrot I hope the journey was ok in the end!

purpleporpoise · 26/05/2016 21:40

We seem to have a top lip tie. Does this matter? Zyla I seem to think that H has one too. Have you done anything with it?

OP posts:
ZylaB · 27/05/2016 17:30

Nowhere will do anything about lip ties... We took her to the dentist and they said they might do something if she hasn't broken it by falling over, but only when her adult teeth are ready to come through! It makes cleaning her top front teeth tricky though as we can't go across!

purpleporpoise · 27/05/2016 19:33

Oh ok. He doesn't have top teeth yet so hopefully it won't be a problem

gaggiagirl · 30/05/2016 23:23

It's quiet here like lasses!

lalalalaa · 31/05/2016 06:18

Boom! Gaggia! I miss your face.

lalalalaa · 31/05/2016 06:23

News from me:

B is crawling, standing and trying to walk. He can cruise around the room holding onto furniture and he's an absolute menace.

I've got flu and feel fucking terrible but I've got to go to work today. I've coughed so much I've pulled a muscle in my chest/stomach. Ow ow ow. Went on a spa day though yesterday with my pals and it was great, lots of swimming and steam room followed by lunch.

How's everyone? B is doing settling in sessions at nursery preparing for going there 2 days a week in a few weeks. He seems to be fine so far - he spent an hour last week opening and closing a cupboard door Grin

ZylaB · 31/05/2016 07:08

ga!!!! Hi!

la yay for cupboards, and boo for flu :(

fruitlovingmonkey · 31/05/2016 11:29

Helllooooooo viroids! Finally showing my face as a grads grad. B is coming up to 4 weeks and changing every day. I tried out my connecta yesterday. He seemed to like it but I got so fucking hot and sweaty that I had to dash into a shop for an emergency ice cream. Double caramel magnum, in case you are wondering. Does anyone else have that problem with slings?
Ouch la! Hopefully the steam room will have done you some good.
Hope the sleep improves a bit Carrot, that sounds exhausting.
What a great image sky! I'm in danger of leaving the house with a boob hanging iut
