Add your stats Viroids (or don't bother). I feel like there's something I'm supposed to write here but don't know what it is... Confused

Oh and I still haven't tried squeezing out any colostrum. I'll have a go when I get home but I'm not feelin enthused. I've had such stabby boobs lately that I've been asking round with a hot water bottle on them. So getting them out in the cold doesn't fill with joy!

Bolognese poos reek.

Fleur get yourself out for a coffee afterwards.

God I have a baby class and I just want to go to bed. What's the betting I bother my arse to go and then she's tired and cranky all the way through?

Did you go wil?

I bumped into one of my nct ladies and we went for a coffee and cake Grin

Good luck purple!

S has started cluster feeding early today so I have hunkered down on the sofa while my MIL makes a pie for dinner. I am feeling so much better today and very very lucky that I have so much help and support Grin

I have no idea how you ladies who don't have family close by do it. Hats off to you and I need to stop my moaning, I have it good

So jealous Cookie.

Poos are completely solid here thank god. Makes life much easier.

I went. She stayed awake so was worth it. Although I clearly missed the "dress your daughter up as a princess" memo.

MrWil is being a total arse again. Have had enough of this shit.

If she doesn't really want anything do you think it's worth sleep training min there looks like loads of options that don't all involve crying & cookie seems to have been successful with it. No idea how you've done nearly 9 months like this, you must be about bollocksed. Flowers

I have a snotty baby that has just pissed through 3 layers & soaked the mattress. That'll be me up then so she can sleep on me on the sofa. Wouldn't be that bad except she didn't go to bed until 1.30 because she full of snot & can't sleep. Ooooo it's going to be a long day! BrewBrewBrew

Minion · 05/09/2015 06:40

The thing is scoob, she doesn't really cry, just lies there being loud and when we go in she gets all excited.
If we pick her up and sit with her she'll fall asleep but wake when put down, though sometimes she's straining away from us like she wants to sort it out herself.
So would CIO work without the crying?

She's also really good at putting herself to sleep. For naps she goes down fully awake and she's off to the land of nod in about 5 mins and for bed she has a bottle and goes down drowsy most of the time but fully awake other times.
Then lately she's been able to get her back to sleep when she's stirring after each sleep cycle
So we know she can do it.

I b suspect it's separation anxiety..

Minion · 05/09/2015 06:40

That errant b before separation is a mistake.

Confused if she's just awake in the night but happy shouting to herself I've got no idea! Hopefully it's just another stage she'll grow out of but that not much help to you.

Minion · 05/09/2015 07:55

Thanks.
It's almost as if she thinks 8 hrs is enough for her and ready to start the day.
I'd put her to bed later but it still happens and she can't go past 7pm at a push.

Report
minimooo · 05/09/2015 08:37

Oh no, sorry min, how crappy. What does she do if you leave her? You must be knackered.

Poor babyS furry Sad Hope you manage to get some rest later and that she feels better soon. We had a nappy leak this morning too (on my side of the bed eeeww) but she was up and playing so not too traumatic to sort out.

What's up with MrWil?

So glad you're feeling happier fleur! What type of pie was it? food porn

So E woke up loads last night and her face and hands were freezing. It's 20 degrees in our room (which is unusually cold for us, we usually have a toasty warm house). E sleeps in a short sleeve vest and a sleepsuit with a cellular blanket over the top. I think I'm going to change the cellular for a thicker blanket tonight and see if that keeps her warmer. Might also put a long sleeve vest under her sleepsuit. Hoping it might reduce the number if wake ups?? Might just be wishful thinking....

Dentist was awful. They took out an old white filling and were going to re-fill it with a silver one but the dentist said the hole was massive and a silver filling would just pop out. They're going to make a custom inlay and glue it in place. Costs £225 normally - thank god for free dental after having a baby! Seriously considering getting the rest of my fillings seen to while it's still free!

I reckon it's something to do with this leap min. I kept feeding him to sleep last night and then he'd wake up as soon as his head hit his own mattress.... On the odd occasion I managed a successful transfer he'd wake up shouting within 30 mins anyway.... I ended up booting Mr P out of bed and sleeping with him in our bed.... Yawn.

Minion · 05/09/2015 14:50

Yep reckon you're right popz, naively thought it was over.
How wrong I was eh.
She's been a fucking nightmare all day. It's a 3 nap day today whether she likes it or not.

Report
minimooo · 05/09/2015 17:30

Oh no, sounds awful min and popz. Hope it passes quickly.

Just had another round of visitors to meet E. Why why why do people stay for 3+ hours when you've got a new baby?? And even though I've said multiple times that I'm putting her down for a nap, why continue to be so noisy that they wake her up?? Now they've left, my house is a tip, me and E are exhausted and I've not yet done any of my jobs for the day! Great. Angry

Ah Mini that's so annoying.

Min I'd buy earplugs and leave her to it.

MrWil was just doing his usual of trying to avoid spending any time with us lest it interfere with his 'me time'. Cos I get bagfuls of me time I do Hmm. He's being fine today though.

Micro has the cold too so last night was eventful and can see the same happening tonight.

I've accidentally clicked on to the desktop site and now can't get back to the mobile site even if I close the window and reload. What do I do please as this will kill me?
