Been to midwife for discharging and she refused due to my leaky wound, which is probably just as well really. I need to see the GP on Tuesday if it's still going on. She said it's not infected as there's no redness and it doesn't smell, so that's good news.

Well my bathroom water drama just got a whole lot shittier. Turns out my home and contents insurance was only CONTENTS. How the fuck that has happened I do not know. I reckon it's cause they asked all these questions about windows/doors/age of property.

Stupid me! Now need to wait til Mon before can phone bathroom place for a quote to renew ceiling. Just hope the neighbour honours his statement of "any damage, I'll pay for it" eek!

DD has been awfully awkward today. Refusing her bottles, refusing to sleep. Then all smiles for her dad. Grrrrrrr!

Got really stressed out just then with ST. I'm trying to put washing away with R screaming his tits off and my fucking leg going numb and he came upstairs and laughed! He didn't know I was in pain or confused as to why suddenly my limbs didn't want to work but it's really pissing me off that he thinks every time I try and do a job it's hilarious that I'm doing it with a crying baby. I have 5 minute showers because of this as well, no time to myself just to do a few odd jobs. And I'm the unreasonable one. He told me not to do jobs in the house. Ok then I'll let him fucking do it and let's see how long it takes us to be living like the bastard clampits!

I'm on the new app too! It's very snazzy! Now I need to learn how it works and catch up proper. Should be able to do that overnight with my own anti-sleep child!

B was very clingy and upset yesterday after jabs day before, we just cuddled him lots. He was on nursing strike so had to give him bottles of expressed mjlk. Thankfully he started bf again overnight as that would've been a bit of a nightmare

Had good night last night. 2 'official' wake ups for feed - 1:20 and 4. He's been groaning with poo pushing since 5:30 though. Not sure what to do about that - seems to just be like clockwork every morning and he doesn't stop groaning abd crying until he's held, when he then goes into deep sleep!

Hmm I said to dh he could sleep on couch last night to get proper sleep as he's working double today. But plan was he'd take b from me this morning for hour or two so I can sleep. I've been awake since 530 holding b as he won't sleep in crib from then.

Fed DD her bottle (which she practically inhaled) normally she's quite happy but she's just been grizzly/crying for half an hour but not really needing anything obvious. Finally nodded off. Going to jump in shower. Meeting a friend at 10. Hopefully we will be on time!!

Oh la! I'd be raging at that. I think fudge is right - it seems like dhs turn into unhelpful asshats as soon as baby is born!

Dh had a nasty cold last weekend and all week. He's just recovered, but E now has a cough and is all blocked up and I have a sore throat. Bugger. I'm trying pma to mentally force cold virus to sod off.

We're getting our chickens today! Can't wait. I bought a 2nd hand coop from a mummy friend I met at playgroup and put it together a few weeks ago. It's all set up ready for them. Well excited.

Oh and my dm is coming to stay for a few days too. Good times.

deeply - I spent the whole week worrying about DH going back to work and really wish I hadn't wasted it that way. It's a shame and would rather he was home but it was ok. My advice would be to arrange stuff for that first day. A visitor or a trip out. I had mil here for the day, then went for a walk next day. Just doing something to break the day up.

It's a fucking sport weekend! Football, rugby and bloody F1! He will be doing lots of holding the baby while he watches it at least! And we are mattress shopping first!

Hola from a very hot menorca. So far we have discovered R hates waves, loves the pool except it is Baltic and she went a bit blue. Prefers to eat croissants than her porridge and has decided a huge afternoon nap is in order. So we've cracked open the shandy and are awaiting her wake up imminently.
If she doesn't, oh well. Late night and she can join us for a BBQ.

We are still in post jab fussiness here. B appears to now be having oral/boob aversion. When I put him to breast he starts to scream uncontrollably. I have to sit him back up, calm him and start again. It only succeeds when he's tired and sleepy. It's quite upsetting and frustrating. I'm trying to be patient but I want to scream as it's just yet another problem in our breastfeeding experience. He's normally such an amazing feeder, it's hard not to feel rejected and upset.

Mini how are the chickens? Make sure you fox proof the run right into the ground as they dig!

Dh isn't back until 4am so he'll probably lie in tomorrow also. B is asleep just now in carry cot in lounge so I'm about to do the stealth transfer to snuzpod.

H has just slept for 9 and a half hours on her own room! Having a big feed then hopong she'll go back down for another hour or so.

Well MINIon is still fast asleep. She went to bed last night around 7:20(hour ahead) and is still there!
After a mammoth 2 hour nap yesterday and 1:30 in the morning!
I hate to jinx it but I think she is finally sleeping through.
It's my birthday tomorrow and she's given me a fantastic gift, sleep.
Now, wonder when I will start sleeping through again....

2 official feed wake ups here last night, which is good for us! Then poo/fart groaning started at 4:30. I'm trying to teach him he doesn't just get picked up every time he makes a noise so I massaged his tummy each time he cried and wiggled his legs to let them out. He's on my belly asleep now happily farting away.

Purple - saw your post about hiccups and forgot to answer! B gets them all the time and yes it's v annoying when you've just fed them and they get them! Firstly they don't seem to annoy babies so don't worry about them in that way. But they will go as soon as baby relaxes - you can try keeping B upright and giving him a cuddle and a rock (I stick radio on and do it to music which helps get rhythm - he falls asleep pretty quickly and hiccups go away. You can try just cuddling on your lap to relax him. You can put him in sling - that usually gets rid of them quickly as they go to sleep and are upright. Or take him for ride in car. Basically getting him to sleep is the answer.

If all else fails I sometimes just stick him down in sleepyhead and leave him to chill. 9/10 they just go.

E has stopped sleeping through he has a virus and is waking up like a newborn, he is off his food and covered in a rash! Oh and has had a high temperature since Wednesday I hope he turns the corner soon!
