Sadly our thread died a death after a really good antenatal one, even if we finish now lets hear how everyone is, any plans for anymore, I know some people are expecting already, remind us about your family...
Me first, I was hereshoping on the ttc after miscarriage but then became rosylizzie, an amalgam of my two dds names My baby roisin was born 19 Dec, joining 2 brothers now 9 and 8 and a sister of 5. I had an anxious pg as she had a soft marker so missed the antenatal thread some of the time.

She has been an utter joy, the relationship with her siblings the best part. Yes life is busy but great. We have also moved house this year.
She is crawling and cruising and trying to say her siblings names
She has copper hair and brown eyes like her sister
Not currently expecting though ones of our dogs is! but quite tempted by another though have spent all year trying to talk myself out of it
Come on everyone!! Lets hear from you all!!

DQ - did you really post at 4am - in the morning!!!!!!

What on earth!!!!!

sweetheart · 08/10/2007 22:06

bloody hell you did - thought I'd better go back and double check!!!!!

If having 4 kids means getting up at 4am I'd better get my tubes snipped right now!!!!! I love my bed too much

rosylizzie · 10/10/2007 15:23

hi hereshoping here
anyone else from our old thread been mad enough to have another one? i had a boy july 2007 to add to the gang and am definitely finished! my little girl from dec 2005 just felt too stuck on her own with 2 big brothers of 10 and 9 and a big sis of 6. it feels right now
just getting back on an even keel now, thinking about starting some work too so will need a bit of childcare soon. baby is a breeze but the quantities of laundry, food and general levels of whinging from older three not so! also got 11 plus next month for older one so trying to keep house harmonious.
good to see all my old buddies esp dq - what news of your life?

sweetheart · 10/10/2007 16:49

rosy wow! Your on your 5th! You deserve a medal. I can't imagine having to look after a baby now - that would be so wierd. As my dd is older all my time (when I'm not working) is devoted to ds. I think he'd be very peed off if another baby came along!

chocoholic · 11/10/2007 13:14

5?????
That is an achievement RosyLizzie, and you still get time to post on here sometimes!!

DQ, shame on you for being awake at 4.00am in the morning.

Sh, I'm turning myself into a childminder now. Having run out of money and realised that I am totally broke I had to face the reality of working again. That thought terrified me so I thought I might as well be one of the ones looking after the kids instead.
Should be registered by December.

BTW, I think my new chocolate name has thrown some people, any suggestions as to what I do with George in a name?

Jaysthird · 19/10/2007 22:03

hi one and all, thought id pop by and see if this thread was still running, and it is! nice to see! All is still a bit frought here since i last posted. J is still as nightmare baby, in terms of sleep at least. He wakes at 3/4 most mornings and then thats it till about 10 in the morning.... hes driving me mad!! Have to get him sorted before number three comes along..... not sure if i have said elsewhere or if anyone knows but i am due to have number three on Feb 29th. Going for second scan next tuesday, not sure whether to find out the sex with this one, might leave it to be a suprise! So i will have three babies with the oldest being just two.... mad or brave i am unsure!

Right will go an read the thread now, btw, is anyone on facebook? i need to increase my friends!!!

Jaquelinehyde · 29/10/2007 14:00

Hi everyone,

God it's nice to read through this thread and catch up with you all. It's FLUTTERBEE by the way just fancied a name change after a while away.

George is going to be 2 in just under two weeks and I'm not sure where the time has gone, DH and I often say to each other where has our little baby gone!!! His favourite word at the moment is NO and it's one I don't think will ever leave him lol!!

Hope you are all well, nice to see so many of the group have gone on to have more babies, I fell pg again a few months ago but I miscarried at about 11 weeks I don't think DH and I are going to have anymore and I have had an implant in my arm to keep it that way for at least the next 3 years.

I'm at college doing Access to Teacher Education and hope to start at Brighton Uni next year, if I manage to get through this college course as the college despite having promised to pay it have advised me there is no funding left to cover my childcare costs BLOODY WONDERFULL but that is a whole other thread, literally!!

I'm on facebook if anyone wants to add me, with lots of pics of George and I under my real name -- Victoria Ashie

Love to you all xxx

bonkerz · 07/11/2007 13:21

just checking in seeing as we are all coming up to second birthdays and stuff!!

Life here is hectic! Ive given up childminding so am home with alex-leigh all the time now. She is really coming on and cahts away. Loves her dollys and babies but is not a brill mummy and tends to throw them around etc (nothing she learnt from me!)
Struggling with DS at minute as he has suspected autism and we are going thorugh diagnosis and statements etc not to mention exclusions and new schools!!!
Reflux still an issue with my little girl also and she has just been put on meds to help her....not great when she is projectling proper sick across floors in supermarkets etc!!!

so waht are the birthday plans this year? im lucky and am combining alex-leigh's birthday party with a toddler group christmas party!!!!

Jaquelinehyde · 11/11/2007 22:21

Nemo2007 · 11/11/2007 22:34

happy birthday to george..2 already

H is a little love and soo happy and laid back. Still having problems wiht her chest and being in and out of hospital[we were in for a few days mid oct again]. Cant believe she is nearly 2 and such a little character but so loving. Love to watch her playing with adam and chloe. Chloe is 10m now and walking so able to chase after the other 2.
All going well here!!

sweetheart · 12/11/2007 10:29

yeah happy birthday george! I can't believe Lucas will be 2 in less than a month, still not sure what to do for him. I think it will be a tea party at home although I'm still considering somewhere else because of the mess!

I fear our house is going to be over run with toys what with his birthday and xmas a few weeks later. Luckily I can farm some of it off to my mums as he's there during the day and needs some new stuff.

What sort of things are you giving your lo's? We have got Lucas a runner bike as his main gift and are re-doing his bedroom in a digger theme as his nursery is still very babyfied!

We have been introducing a potty in our house which is probably way too early but he kept saying he wanted a wee and pulling at his nappy. He's managed to wee in it once but I think it was more for his own amusement than anything else.

Mrsei25 · 14/11/2007 21:28

scully · 19/11/2007 11:50

I was sure I typed a message on here last week, must have just thought about it
Things are going ok here, feeling a lot better than we were during August/September. The miscarriage hit me a lot harder than I thought it would, not that I had any idea really how I would feel. Still thinking about no.3, although as I am starting a new job this week, timing could be better I'll be working 21hrs a week, over 3 days, and it's only 15min drive from home, so shouldn't stress us too much hopefully.
dd2 had her eyes operated on today. She has quite a pronounced squint in both eyes, and is also far sighted in both eyes, so has been wearing glasses since April. She will still need to wear the glasses but hopefully her eyes will be straighter. Poor little thing really didn't enjoy today, and it was so hard leaving her in theatre once she was asleep.
It's lovely to read everyone's news, can't believe you're having no.3 already Jay, congrats

Nemo2007 · 19/11/2007 21:46

hi all

scully hope dd2 is ok,poor thing hate idea of leaving them in theatre..H has a umbilical hernia that is 99% likely to need operating on and hate the idea of it.

Well ladies it has happened..I am officially broody again!!!!God help me but DD2 is now 10mths and has been walking for a couple of weeks and just seems to be growing before I have even glanced at her

scully · 20/11/2007 10:36

yes it was awful nemo, leaving her but we had a check up today and all seems good so far after the operation so feeling very relieved. broody, wow, slow down

Mrsei25 · 21/11/2007 00:41

gosh at this rate nemo youre gonna end up with like a huge tribe of kiddies!! i would love a big family but DH has put his foot down at 3 tops!! ah nevermind he is worse than me when it gets to broodyness (he said about a week after sian was born that he wanted another one... i said i wanted to wait til my flue was healed first or id end up wit a chuff like a wizards sleeve!!) im only just convinced now so here goes nowt for no 2!!lol
how is everyone and their lo's doin??

bonkerzaboutxmas · 18/12/2007 22:16

Am on here avoiding doing any more cleaning. I'm registering as a childminder and I have my ofsted visit on Thursday so I'm trying (not) to get things ready! I'm a bit scared.
