Hi Ladies!!!!!

Flame that's great - a tooth!!! Looks like your luck is on the up this week, congrats on the washing machine

I've not been on here since Sunday been feeling really knackered as came on on Sunday and have just felt rough to be honest. Had to do some book-keeping too and when not been doing that I have been sleepy, not sure why it has been a particularly bad month.

DS says quite a few words - mumma, dadda, nanna, Maaaaa (max the dog , yeah, no and we have had a few eeeeeeeoooooooooo [hello]. As for walking we have got a few steps along the sofa and I got him a walker last night and he has started off quite well with that today. Looks like and old man on a zimma frame though!!!

3Kissesunderthemistletoe · 01/12/2006 22:49

Dum de dum de dum ....

CranberryJelley · 02/12/2006 08:23

All alone last night 3k?

I had a nice night in watching a truly terrible horror film with dp.

Spoiled this morning when I checked my bank account and discovered how much he has spent this week
I'm off to have a bath and calm down, then I'll cut up his card (And possibly his clothes).

CantSleepWithSanta · 02/12/2006 08:40

I ended up having to go to bed at 9:30 and take DD with me, as she had woken after 45 mins and wasn't resettling, and had a very low temp this time. She went back to sleep at 9:50 and slept til 4, then spent an hour feeding and playing with everything within reach before I got exasperated and put her back in her cot, where she fell asleep within 10 mins and slept til 7:30. Still only just over 9 hours in total for her - I don't know where she's finding her energy at the moment, as she's not sleeping as much as usual day or night.

She then wouldn't eat any breakfast this morning, but had a good guzzle of milk.
Does all of this still sound like teething?

So what has dp spent the money on this week Jas? Not drinking in the pub I hope, or I'd be angry too. Maybe he's bought you something nice for Christmas?

3K - how long are your cycles? Just wondering if I can rely on you to tell me when I'm next due on, as my cycle also started on Sunday (I think!). Mine are 30-34 days long though.
Very impressive selection of words from Ben the chatterbox!

Morgan · 02/12/2006 09:08

ooiii stop insulting me!! have been lurking though it is true not so much last couple of days. it is raining here and raining and it is the rugby 7's and we a re supposed to be having fun there but dh and ds are on the way back as they are soaking.

Otherwise all good - dd is super cute at the mo having had a sickness bug last week and is now eating loads to make up and it looks like her top two teeth are on the way out but no real symptoms so that is good.

Not read thread past the insults so will go back and read it to catch up. Hello to everyone.

Morgan · 02/12/2006 09:30

caught up on thread now and need a Christmas name - any suggestions??

at Flame for the washing machine. what a great gesture. Hope you are smellinjg lovely now.

at csws and mr csws communicating via mn.

Ds was v excited re the advent calendars - we have two, one a traditional one with boxes and things in them you hang up, and a lego one which has new lego everyday.

3Kissesunderthemistletoe · 02/12/2006 10:22

Yes I was all alone Poor me!!!!

CSWS - I vary from 28 days to 36, I'll try and give you a bit of warning next month!!

DS got up at 8am and went back down about 45 mins ago, he is really tired today. Hope this isnt the start of YET another cold!! He has his second PCV jab on Tues too. DH is on lates so I'm making him take him!!

WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 02/12/2006 11:04

3K we have our 1st jab on Tuesday! like the new name BTW, CSWS lol at yours too

Hi Morgan, like the lego calander, wish we/I had one of those, might keep me a bit slimer, sigh....

Flame, thanks for doing the dance with me

Hotmama, that is not what I want to hear, especially since its still not turned up and according to dh my boobs have gone funny, which I agree with, but am still holding out hope, also have a huge zit on chin (think granny weatherwax) plus I drank a fair bit of Vodka last night and ate Tapas mmmmmmmm yummy, my 2nd night out with the girls in a year

Jas, nice cooker and maybe like CSWS says dh has brought something nice for you??

CSWS doesn't sound like teething to me?? not sure what tho?

Hi to eveyone else, hope your all having wonderful weekends.

3Kissesunderthemistletoe · 02/12/2006 11:20

We have some good Christmas names so far. We need some more though.

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 02/12/2006 12:54

You'll be fiiiiiiiiiiiine Friz (I have decided )

Proper razor edge tooth now.

WoW sold - not as high as some, but enough to get what DH needs... it feels quite strange (and suddenly to realise that someone will own Flamesparrow... I should have asked DH to delete her )

Forgotten everything else except Helloooooooooo Morgan (you haggard lady who smells of... geraniums?)

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 02/12/2006 13:03

DH deleted her for me (and looked snurk-like at the concept that anyone might want the traincrash of a character that was Flamesparrow )

WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 02/12/2006 16:13

Yay for it selling, I just hope wow don't find out, as dh did tell me you weren't supposed to sell them?! so long as it helps you out, that's what counts!
I sooooo hope your right!!
House full of kids atm, ss and dd1 have played cops n robbers, been outside playing on bikes and far too small for ss, scooter (have suggested he puts a bike on his santa list) whilst dd2 lounged in the buggy and I cleaned the car they've also done chase the remote control car and have now moved onto playing mummies n daddies, with poor old dd2 the baby! that been said whilst they're currently bickering over something dd2 is making her way thru dd1's toy collection, sigh......

OnXmasdayinthemorgan · 02/12/2006 16:53

Got a xmas name - made a decision.

geraniums??

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 02/12/2006 18:28

Ah, tis all in the rules - you aren't selling the characters etc, you are selling your time that it took to create the characters - you then pass over the details and game to the other party.

Geraniums was the first thing that came to mind, and I dunno what they smell like, just don't like the word Love the festive name

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 02/12/2006 19:21

Thats alot to catch up on, esp given today is a weekend day!

Whats the Geraniums bit? I've scan read, but obv missed the vital postings!

Yoga was great today, although I feel like my main benefit was to get away for a bit, rather than any exercise doing me good. Nothing wrong with a bit of peace, but i desperately need to get fit too, so in that respect it wasnt the best use of a few hours. Although the class is an hour, it takes 45 mins each way to get there (and back), and I went to Sainsburys for some bits, so I was actually without the boys for 4 hours!!!

Got a xmas street fair to go to tomorrow; thought there might be something there to keep ds1 amused for a bit.

Got him to do a toy clear out today, with the idea that he'd choose some toys he doesnt like playing with anymore and we'd take them to the charity shop etc etc. He chose one item! And another one that he donated to ds2's toybox. And then found one in there that he wanted himself So the idea of culling down before pressies from relatives clog up the house again has gone slightly awry.

CantSleepWithSanta · 02/12/2006 20:59

Evening all.

Morgan - the insults got you out of the woodwork though didn't they?!

mrm - 4 hours without the boys . Luxury.

Well DD still fairly whingey, but don't think there's actually anything much wrong, as she managed to be cheerful when we were visiting friends (the one with the new baby and the just 1 year old) this afternoon. She then whinged in the car all the way to the chippy (naughty naughty), was cheerful in there, then whinged most of the way back home again.

I think her being off food is down to teething though. She's had this lopsided smile a few times, and I've noticed her cheek has sort of looked almost swollen. She managed about 5 chips and a mouthful of fish for tea, and about the same amount for lunch, with only a mouthful of crumpet for breakfast. Lots of milk though, and she went down to sleep ok tonight without any drugs. She only had 1hr 25mins of naps all day, so I'm really hoping she'll catch up and have a long night tonight.

CantSleepWithSanta · 02/12/2006 21:20

News from MB for those who are interested and haven't seen it yet - here

WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 02/12/2006 22:02

Oh that's so very CSWS thanks for the link.

Poor dd with her teething, hope it gets better for her soon, we still have no signs of any 9mths on 4th!!

Morgan love the name

Flame, aaaahhhhhhh if I tell him that now, we may get him to sell one of his accounts (prays silently)

MRM, lol at the toy clearout, I've taken to just sneaking a bit off the tattier stuff out of dd1's room whenever I get chance, mainly the really rubbish stuff that we accrue, and when she asks for it, just look blank (evil mother emoticon)
Keep up the yoga tho hon, it may take a while to get there, but it does actually tone you well over time, you just don't always notice it straight away!

Phew just got ss into bed finally, let him stay up to watch end of xfactor.....dh is still at work....has phoned to say will not be leaving until about now 10pm, as got the van stuck on a track earlier, and has managed to reverse it back to start of said track, but its parked in a heap of mud, so is waiting for others to leave with him, and hopefully get him on the road, otherwise I may be spending tomorrow helping him dig it out of the slime, ick, especially with the weather forecast.......(he's running an event in the middle of some woods just so you know!)

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 02/12/2006 23:20

I was so hoping it would have a different outcome for MB... think I will go and hold my DH tight (and hide the bloody salt - at this rate he'll die of a heart attack and he really doesn't wanna see me that pissed off ).

Frizbe - They go for up to £250 depending on how many levels 60s they have, and how much gold/purple items. How can people spend so much money for a character??? What's the point?? Why does anyone want to fight with a completed character??

MRM - 4 hours childless sounds like heaven. Was saying to my mum this afternoon that I want an evening with wine and no children - I just wanna go out somewhere and not be mum anymore... I'd actually quite like to go out and be Flame - she has a lot more confidence

Wash pile is gradually going down

Oooh - DD spent 20 mins in her room having "quiet time" today after trying to cut off DS's fingers with a blunt knife, then yelling NO in my face when I told her to go to her room (Do they do some boundary testing at 3.6??? )... anyway, I went up to get her back, and she'd done a 32 piece floor puzzle She normally says she can't do it and needs help!! I completely forgot that she was meant to be apologising and went all gushy at how clever she was (Her reply to "do you know how clever you are?" was... "Yes." )

My sister is home for a couple of days, so probably not on much tomorrow.

for the teeth CSWS - B always went off food etc with them... nothing seems to get in the way of DS and food - devoured a pile of biscuits at mum's today!

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 02/12/2006 23:23

Frizbe - DS turned 9 months on the 24th, and the tooth has only just popped through

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 03/12/2006 10:02

Know what you mean Flame, but I've forgotten the pre kids MRM. Mainly because I didnt need to run more, I was already doing 5 or 6 nights a week. And felt very good.

Friz; I do the sneaking toys away thing too, but he's just growing out of me being able to do that now. Currently moaning about the whereabouts of a boobah that I sold at the car boot in the summer, even though he never played with it and has only seen them on twelly twice!

WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 03/12/2006 10:24

MRM you need more time away from the kids 'twelly' indeed

I reckon ss would love to play with a completed character Flame, no doubt its people like him paying for it.......or their parents!

at dd trying to cut off ds's fingers, not had that one yet, although dd2 has got pushed into the door frame head 1st this am... as she was trying to eat dd1's jigsaw.....

Righty off to referee again, will check back later, as trying to see if Debsey has finally dropped! (CSWS and Tictac will know what I'm on about!)

PhoenixGirl · 03/12/2006 13:52

Hi everyone,

I'm still without broadband at home so i've been skimming mn every couple of days at my mums and now found a bit of time to post . The reason we're still without broadband is cos aol were s**t (i know i should have listened to MrCSWS) and i cancelled it without getting a MAC number so we need to wait til 5th Dec til our line is clear to go to another provider. We've decided on sky broadband now.

Right, ds crawling now (well commando) and cruising, he's got 6 teeth now too.

I can't remember much from the thread so i'll leave it there for now and hopefully i'll be back online at home soon.

I need a christmas name, i'll be back when i think of one.

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 03/12/2006 14:23

Phoenixrisingfromthesnow? Sorry, cant think today!

Ooops re the tv typo

Just been to a xmas street fair and ds1 has been joining in with the morris dancers;even went to find a stick for himself! He also won a load of stuff on the tombola; for £1.60, he got playdough, a tennis ball, 3 cars, and a little box of smarties. He's very happy!

PhoenixTheRedNoseReindeer · 03/12/2006 14:31

The best i could come up with
