Yeah, ds2 woke 6 times between 7 and 11, then had his bottle at 1am, then came into bed 4 till 6.30 when we got up. Had the olbas oil out all night, and a sudafed plug in thing, and he was still too snotty to breathe

dewmeadow · 22/11/2006 09:52

Just a quick hello as running behind time as usual!

Flame - my wee man has decided he wants to be in my bed every night! But he IS teething really badly - we reckon he's got another 3or 4 coming at once again.

Havent been to the Dr yet, but I think my due date is approx 23rd July or so. Felling on and off very queasy, tired, v emotional, and cant remember....um....mmm....stuff, cant type. But so far (early days and all that) going well (fingers crossed)

Must get my thinking cap on for a Yuletide name. Hadnt realised we'd do that - Im starting to get excited by Christmas. think we'll get our tree nearer the start of December this year rather than the middle.

Hi to everyone

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2006 09:54

Awwwwwwwww

My bank statements have arrived for my account and joint account... sat here with a highlighter to find the charges. Surprisingly enough, mine was never overdrawn before it became a staff account (which is good because I didn't want to try and claim it back and them point out that I haven't been staff for 3 years....)

Jelley · 22/11/2006 10:21

doing the happy nappy dance here

Thankyou, Flame, they are lovely.

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2006 10:25
Grin
Flamesparrow · 22/11/2006 10:35

Nowhere near as much as expected from the joint account either... I am intrigued about DH's now! I remember a lot from when we were first living together (which I haven't spotted), so I can only assume they are from his account.

damewashalot · 22/11/2006 11:15

Hello!

Not getting on much at the minute as DH is living on computer looking for a job and there is so much to catch up on I don't know what's going on.
I have not b'fed for a whole week now, bit sad but he kept biting and making me bleed and it was getting worse and worse so I stopped, he's taken it quiet well still has a bit of a grumble if tired and will only take a bottle from me at bedtime so far. How long am I going to keep dripping milk? I can't remember.

So are people doing christmas names already? thought I'd hang on til december, we will be having a small christmas this year due to lack of cash but I am lucky in that my kids don't do what their friends do which is work their way through the argos book saying want that, want that and that etc. Their Mums complain but still buy it all for them
Should go do some housework [yuk face] TTFN!
(sorry to much tigger)

TicTac · 22/11/2006 19:11

Hello. I too have a baby that sleeps through. Not big on daytime sleeps though.

Flame, no idea where you live but we have a machine lurking in our garage you are welcome to!

Ooo Christmas names, I was tictacMerrilyOnHigh last year...need to be more inventive this year.

CSWS - love the "santa" name
x

mustrunmore · 22/11/2006 19:29

Flame lives far, far away from you!

ds2 still very snotty, but hasn't lost his appetite thankfully, and he only cried for 7 mins or so before falling asleep tonight. And ds1 was asleep when I got back to him; no story again, hurray! But we did have to do Dr. Zeuss's ABC before bed.

dewmeadow · 22/11/2006 19:31

what about - ADewInAManger ????

dewmeadow · 22/11/2006 19:32

tictac - how did you get your baby to sleep through????

dewmeadow · 22/11/2006 19:38

look at this - seriously funny

Frizbe · 22/11/2006 19:40

MRM we did Dr Suess last night I don't mind that one too much.....
Flame for washingmachine
CSWS at the yog n spoon they're so sweet when they're learning, dd2 has decided she knows where the tv on off button is today, not sure if she can quite press it in yet, as everytime she's hovered near it and tried, either dd1, gran or myself have fetched her away from it again.....
Hi Dew, Dame, Jas, Tictac and anyone else out there?
Chloe n Phoenix will you be joining us on the 4th at 10:30??

Frizbe · 22/11/2006 19:42

Oh Dew dd2 generally sleeps through too, not sure how, she just decided too.....she used to wake for 11pm milk, but I knocked it on the head and gave her a cuddle instead and now she sleeps 7-6/7, in fact this am, she'd woken at 6 cause she'd poo'd and I went in, changed her, then put her back in cot, she moaned for 10mins, then went back to sleep, was woken by dd1 at 8, who then decided to play in her room, so didn't get up until 8.45am as that was when I woke up naturally!!!

mustrunmore · 22/11/2006 19:44

We've got Dr.Zeuss for the pc too. There's a game (never done as ds1 has been too little till now) and also it just reads the ABC book to you with animation, a bit diff to the book actually. ds1 will stand on his stool in front of the screen and watch it very happily! Gives me 10 mins to do things! Want me to see if dh can copy it for you?

Frizbe · 22/11/2006 19:48

Hmmm do I let dd1 know that my pc can do fun stuff for her....or do I keep it all to myself oh go on then MRM do me a copy! if you cat me I'll send you my addy!

TicTac · 22/11/2006 19:48

DM - very funy!

Sleeping, don't know where to start, I have followed baby led routine setting but once the "sleep time" was determined I stook to the routine like glue. Quiet play, bath, story, feed, bed. On the occasions she has been unsettled I have not BF but fed 7oz of water with 1 scoop of formula. She has been satisifed but not fed therefore dropped the uneccesary feeding fairly quickly. She now tends to sleep from 6:30 for 12 hours.

I am very lucky though, following this routine wouldn't work for everyone and of course the babies have to be willing

TicTac · 22/11/2006 19:49

pmsl - obviously meant stuck!!

mustrunmore · 22/11/2006 19:53

No probs Frizbe; let me check with dh that he can copy a copy. Dont see why not, but we had a few probs copying dvds before.

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/11/2006 20:45

Oh Frizbe DD can press the on/off button on the remote no problem, and also change channel randomly. We don't let her get her hands on the electronic fancy pants remote that controls all of the audio visual stuff though!

DD has decided today that she now can use a walker quite happily. She doesn't seem to do things by half - either she can do them well or she can't do them at all. Took her to a playgroup this morning and she spent the first half an hour walking the length of the hall (or until she met an obstacle) with one!

Hope those of you who had crap nights last night get better ones tonight.

You lost me on the bank statement thing flame, but hope it's all ok.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 22/11/2006 20:53

Me too, but I thought i'd be the only one not able to decipher what flame was on about!

Get the feeling tonight will be a bad one; both in bed by 7, but ds2 woke up and screamed the place down from 7.30 till 8.20 Still snotty. Maybe a tooth though, as he was doing really pained screams.

mustrunmore · 22/11/2006 20:53

Oh, csws, are you getting Hub to do some pics then?

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/11/2006 21:24

I am indeed .

OP posts:
3k · 22/11/2006 21:52

Who's Hub? an Flame who is psychomum????? (sp) I do read this thread - honest!!!!

Nothing much to report from here, had a quiet day, cleaning tomorrow and Friday. DS is fast asleep in his cot.

He not thinks it is hilarious when he has a poo and I make "POO, YUK, EERR" noises when changing him!! Keeps him still for a bit though which makes a change.

CSWS, I am planning on getting DS a walker this/next week - he now walks along sofas etc but want to see how he'd get on with a walker.

Where's Chloe?

mustrunmore · 22/11/2006 21:52

Well done ; they'll be great. And he's really nice! Although a certain friend of mine thinks I'm mad letting a stranger photograph my kids, and is convinced he's part of some paedo ring.
you have to let me see them when they're done. I'm so nosey.
