Pucca thats lovely, real boys outfit as some of them can look tad girly cant they? I love the sailors outfit but dont want him to look like something form a panto ha ha!

puccaupunderthemistletoe · 23/11/2006 13:17

BHM...I know i didn't want anything too girly, there is so much to choose from for girls grrr lol, they have some really cute little outfits on there, traditional and modern, and they were really quick at sending the stuff out, i got the outfit the next day they do designer stuff too...gorgeous, think there is a link on the left hand side further down.

olivhohoho · 23/11/2006 13:53

thanks for your words of wisdom girls! we are going to southampton for a couple of days to stay with friends. not sure what shops they have, just excited to go to some different ones to here -we are VERY limited here, especially for kids clothes and for cheap and cheerful. we just have mothercare, boots and adams here, oh and next but bored of them now!!

BHM - lovely outfit. About dubai, we are going with dd in march. We've been a few times before, its a fab place and as you say, ideal for kids.and shopping.....just make sure you book yur actual seat for the flight so you get the ones where the baby cots go.

pucca - cool name glad george is ok.

olivhohoho · 23/11/2006 13:54

sorry pucca - cool outfit!

BigHotMama · 23/11/2006 14:20

Lol Olivo! Can somebody help me put a piccy of jackson on members profiles, have just made a booboo, cant get my piccy on?? Pls help!!! I have got jpeg images on here off my digital camera but somehow it wont let me put one on here? I'm so useless at doing stuff like this.

olivhohoho · 23/11/2006 14:28

sorry BHM - i'm a technophobe. hope someone else can though! will have a nose later......

melsy · 23/11/2006 14:55

do you know what size they are bhm ?? I think jpegs need to be certain size.

BigHotMama · 23/11/2006 15:31

I have ones that are 1.19mb and ones that are 706kb? How can I make them smaller if they too big?

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 23/11/2006 17:10

Afternoon.

Congrats on the broadband BHM!

Olivo, cant help on Southampton although if you fancy a drive to Portsmouth, theres a fab shopping outlet there. They have Ted Baker, Petit Bateau, Paul Smith and loads more but at cut prices.

Re christening outfits I got Ellis a brown linen suit with a blue linen shirt for £11.99 from a Next outlet shop. I had my eye on a pin stripe one they have on their website which is £24.99 but this was too good a price to pass up.

Anyhoo, I had my CBT session, not that we did much but shes put me on Citalopram 20mg. So I feel a bit better now.

eenysugarplumfairy · 23/11/2006 18:43

BHM if you email me the picture I will put it on for you. OR rather I will get Sal to put it on for you! senatorvass at gmail dot com. Congrats on the broadband! Its great isnt it! Oh and yes I was talking about the baby whisperer routine. He was on the 3 hour routine and we are just starting to put him on the 4 hour one now. It works really well, I didnt realise how much he was crying because he was over tired. Glad its working for Jackson too! Well done for losing weight with slimming world. I need to do that or weight watchers too but I cant afford it and dont have enough motivation on my own.

Pucca, Love the name and the outfit!

Olivo, have fun when you come over here! Shop til you drop! Its too bad you arent coming closer to us there is great shopping where we are. I'm sure there is in Southampton as well though!

Yellow, is Citalopram an antidepressent? How is Ellis doing?

Pink I like your theories about spirituality. I kinda feel the same way.

We went to the photographers today to view the pics taken of Alex last week. Picked out our one free one and debated which one (if any) we wanted to buy. They are really expensive at £30 per picture (5 x 7) but I think I want one for my birthday in January. I'll post them here when I get them! He looked so adorable in them.

Hope you and your little ones are all well!

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 23/11/2006 18:48

Eeny, yes it is an anti depressant. One of the more common ones I think.

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 23/11/2006 18:51

Eeny could I be cheeky and ask you to change size on a piccy for me please?

For some reason I cant get my Adobe to do it. I'll email it to you.

eenysugarplumfairy · 23/11/2006 19:53

Yellow I got the picture! I will get Sal to do it for you and email it back! Its a LOVELY picture!!!!

i'm on olanzapine and prozac... and they have just upped the dose. Hope they start working more soon!

BigHotMama · 23/11/2006 20:05

Cheers Eeny have sent you an email with 2 piccys, I did start a topic in memebrs profile so if you could attach it onto there for me I'd be well chuffed! Thanx hun x

Good to hear your CBT went well Yellow and your feeling bit better now. What does CBt stand for? I aint got a clue what I'm talking about here ya know ha!

My Dh is already having a winge about me being on MN since he's been back from work, I've just had a comment 'oh is this what you've been doing all day?' Cheeky Sod!

Oh Eeny what is the 4 hour method your doing am intrigued....

Jackson woke me up for a feed at 2am this morning and hasnt done that for weeks now so not sure why that happened? At least though then he slept till 6am so I got few more zzz's.

PinkTinsel · 23/11/2006 20:58

evening all, eeny (or sal) post a lnk to that photoe when you've uploaded it.... my MN time is going to be seriously didminished as we'll be libving like cavemen for the forseable future after the electricity bill we got today although it has finally hit home with dp that he can't have the tv on all day anymore which means thankfully dd won't be exposed to quite so much ceebeebies (every cloud has a silver lining )

must go.... dp is in an oddly good mood and being terribly amourous and has promised me a massage..... way hay!

will read through properly tomorrow

PinkTinsel · 23/11/2006 20:59

oops, really must start previewing

lunavix · 23/11/2006 21:03

eeny which baby whisperer book do you have?

With ds I used routines by she who must not be named, however he was bottle fed and my breastfed dd will NOT fit in them.

olivo - Southhamption has a big 3 story shopping mall. Think there's a pumpkin patch, next, m&s, baby gap, amongst others.

olivhohoho · 23/11/2006 21:43

eenysugarplumfairy · 24/11/2006 08:23

BHM I emailed you the pics... sorry I didnt know you wanted them posted. Not sure if they are still on my computer with the smaller size so if you can go ahead and post them otherwise I will have Sal do it when he gets home.

Pink, did your DP get the job??????? I've been thinking about you!

Booby sorry CJ is not feeling well! Poor thing. Give her a kiss for me.

Luna I have "The Baby Whisperer, Solves all your Problems" book. This is basically a 4 hour routine. It goes:

Eat
Activity
Sleep
You time

Or EASY.

It involves time for feeding, then time for activity, then a 2 hour nap, then it starts all over again. Its good but its harder to follow on days like today when he wakes up for a feed at 6:30 instead of 7. But its great! We are all much happier on it.

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 24/11/2006 10:48

Hiya,
Booby, I'm just helping dh type some work up and inbetween sitting on the loo I seem to have a bug. Either that or I was poisoned by the prawns that I ate last night! I'll catch you asap. x
See told you Melsy! Seafood is evil.

Eeny and Sal, thanks for the piccy.

BHM, CBT stands for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
By the sounds of it I wont be having it after xmas and the mental health nurse who does it, is putting me on an anxiety management course instead! Scary!

I took my first pill today so fingers crossed.

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 24/11/2006 10:52

Here is my piccy.

Thanks Eeny and Sal. XX

BigHotMama · 24/11/2006 11:13

Ooh Yellow hope your bug flys away soon, sounds nasty! Am looking Cognitive up in the dictionary now lol..Hope your pills kick in soon.

Arrggghh still cant seem to post this piccy, cant understand what i'm doing wrong? Keep getting a message saying am only aloud to upload image files under 100k??

Did you get your massage Pinky? I so need a good back rub. Has anybody got achey knees from standing up with baba in your arms? Jackson feels real heavy now. Am sure he was teething last night as wouldnt settle and kept putting his hands in his mouth, gave him some calpol and knocked him out for a good 6 hours so I got a great nights kip wehey!

HOpe CJ gets better soon bless her x

Can I ask a very personal question to everyone? Has anybody gone off, and I mean totally off sex? I've only had it once with DH 6 weeks after Jackson was born...need advice on how to get a sex life back lol x

PinkTinsel · 24/11/2006 13:02

BHM, it's the breastfeedingand exhaustion, it pretty much kills your sex drive. it does come back when your periods do though (or in my case your teribly randy one night 9 months post birth and end up pregnant again

eeny, no word from the job yet so not looking good, hate when places do this, i mean would it kill them to ring and say no and put us out of our misery. we can't even do the weekly shop as if he got it he'd be starting monday and we'd have to head straight up to my parents to saty there and househunt

feathers, ellis is sooooo adorable. i love babies with hair dd was like that too and it makes them look so much older. he looks like a right cheeky monkey

well i got my massage last night, watched pirates of the carribean 2 ( at that ending!) and got to stay in bed with caleb til 12 today. sex is appreciated so much more when theres less of it isn't it?

BigHotMama · 24/11/2006 13:14

LMAO at your one randy night Pink! Hope you hear some news on the job soon.

Ellis is a real cutie, loads of hair and the colour is beautiful too. Jackson has only got a little spikey tuft on top and a bit at back of his neck, other than that he is bald like his dad
