Pinprick dots all over her torso, which spread to her back, face and nappy area. There's a bit on her legs today. The marks blanch but some of them are raised.

FelixFelix · 19/04/2015 07:34

GSR is she any better today?

S near enough slept through for the first time in almost 16 months!!!!! I know it's a fluke because she was ill yesterday but still it gives me hope. She woke up at about 10ish and whinged for a minute then went back to sleep, and did the same again at 3am. No sick last night either and she's back to normal today. Glad it was a short lived bug.

Naturegirl82 · 20/04/2015 19:56

How are L and S GSR and Felix?

O seems to have settled back into her routine again after it all got a bit disrupted from her being ill.

So I've got a bit of a dilemma. Going to watch Dh in the London Marathon on Sunday and don't quite know what to do with O. I was planning on taking the sling and some reins but not sure I am going to be able to carry her all day as I've got pgp Sad . Dm has suggested taking the stroller as well which would be easy on the tube as it folds easily and is light but I just think it is going to be really difficult to move around with the stroller because of the crowds. As a family we've been to watch the marathon loads so know what to expect but just not sure what to do. It's also forecast to rain so at least if we had the stroller O can nap in there and stay dry.

Naturegirl82 · 20/04/2015 20:14

I've also got to take the dog as we couldn't find anyone to look after her for the weekend so not sure how she is going to cope either (as she usually sleeps about 20 hours a day!!)

alteredimages · 20/04/2015 21:34

I would just take the stroller nature. I hope your dog copes and the weather isn't too hot for her. Could she use a buggy board? Grin

TobyLerone · 20/04/2015 21:44

I don't think I'd take the stroller, but I'm not pregnant with pgp. Is it a ring sling that you have?

Naturegirl82 · 20/04/2015 22:00

It's a mei tai so I can back and hip carry (bump is far too big to front carry now). I'm more inclined not to take the stroller as I think it is going to be more hassle than its worth but I couldn't even manage walking round the shops and museum on Saturday Sad

alteredimages · 20/04/2015 22:09

Sad. nature. I have gone right off my ergo after falling down some steps and spraining my ankle. Blush Couldn't see my feet and the area in front of me for DS and miscalculated. Still bloody painful 3 weeks later and both DCs have cabin fever.

How is everyone?

N seems to be teething again only 2 days after he finished the last lot. The dribbling is unbelievable and so far today he has eaten a board book, a bead and tried to chew on a bucket.

He has also perfected climbing on top of the glass dining table and jumping. He managed to do it on top of DH's laptop today too. DH was seriously unimpressed.

TobyLerone · 20/04/2015 22:25

Is there nobody who can go with/meet you to help, nature? I'd offer, only I'd have had to bring The World's Oldest Non-Walking Toddler, thus defeating the object.

altered, I laughed about the laptop, because I am a bad person.
I think M is teething too. She's only got 6 teeth (4 top, 2 bottom) and I can't see any signs of any more, but she's very bitey and dribbly.

Naturegirl82 · 21/04/2015 06:25

Teething is rubbish altered especially if there has been no let up.

toby my parents, dsis and Inlaws will be with me so I'll have help thanks Smile I think I'll take the stroller even though it's going to be annoying. I'm just not sure I'll last the day otherwise.

TobyLerone · 21/04/2015 07:04

Can't they all take a turn carrying her?

alteredimages · 21/04/2015 07:09

Yes, nature, give everyone a turn. When my aunt and uncle were here my uncle took turns carrying N in the ergo. I know the ergo isn't that femenine but most of the Egyptian men were ShockConfusedGrin about it. I made me love him a bit. DH would never use a baby carrier in case it spoiled his image.

GunShotResidue · 21/04/2015 08:08

L is loads better. I think the rash was definitely the end of the virus as she's back to her normal destructive, sleep hating self!

Good luck to your DH nature! and to you, I got so stressed at the Christmas markets trying to manoeuvre the pushchair through crowds.

L has 9 teeth. 4 at the top, three Hmm at the bottom then 2 at the back behind them. She's had the 3 at the bottom for ages, no idea why the 4th hasn't come through yet!

FelixFelix · 21/04/2015 08:17

Nature I agree to make everyone take it in turns carrying her. Good luck to your DH!

Altered I have a weird thing where I can't walk down stairs unless I can see my feet so that just gave me the heebie jeebies! Hope your ankle is better soon.

S was better by Sunday so it was a short lived bug. DP was struck down with it yesterday after proclaiming that 'I must have given her the bug on Friday but it hasn't affected me because I'm so super fit and healthy' Grin Jokes on him now.

She hasn't stood up again since she did it on Friday. It's annoying me. She's 16 months tomorrow! Shock

TobyLerone · 21/04/2015 09:44

M can stand for a while by herself, but she can't get up from sitting unless she pulls herself up on something.

Naturegirl82 · 21/04/2015 12:38

I'm going to pack the stroller and take it down to London and that way I can decide on the morning. It will depend how good my back is after walking around the expo all day on the Saturday. In theory I can get other people to carry her as well but I just know it will be sods law she will be having a clingy day and won't go to anyone!

Naturegirl82 · 22/04/2015 14:30

Have any of you started taking your LO'S to the dentist yet? Apparently it's been 6 months since I last took O! Shock

GunShotResidue · 22/04/2015 14:37

L has her first appointment in June. I have a check up too, hopefully the only one I have to pay for as we're ttc again that month :)

FelixFelix · 22/04/2015 15:01

Am I meant to take her to the dentist already? Do you pay for children or not? I need a check up too but need to find one near me as my old dentist is back in Leeds.

Naturegirl82 · 22/04/2015 15:32

Felix as long as you get on an nhs list then you don't pay for them.

I asked the receptionist when I phoned when we should start bringing her and she sort of said when they have teeth! The only reason O went 6 months ago is because she bashed her tooth and it was bleeding. I didn't realise I should have been taking her all ready though. Probably wouldn't have thought about it apart from the fact they sent me a letter.

GSR good luck with the ttc (that seems a weird thing to say haha!). I managed to get my new exemption card before my old one ran out Grin

BookTart · 22/04/2015 20:32

My dentist doesn't want to see P until she is 2! At her 1 year check they asked whether she'd been, and when I told them that the dentist didn't want to see her they said that some want them as soon as the teeth arrive and others don't bother. Grrrr! Although, to be fair to my dentist there is no way on earth she'd let anyone look in her mouth. I'm not even sure how many teeth she has now myself because she clamps her jaws shut as soon as I go near them!

GunShotResidue · 22/04/2015 20:57

Thanks Nature :)

I signed up for the nhs text alert things and the one they sent at about 11 months said to get a dentist, but they said there wasn't much point seeing her until about 18 months.

Naturegirl82 · 23/04/2015 09:11

Well O decided that 12.30 was get up time last night Sad Dh and I had to take it in shifts with her downstairs. She just would not go back to sleep Sad So tired today.

Naturegirl82 · 23/04/2015 22:02

I think we have established the cause of the lack of sleep last night. 4th molar has popped through. I only checked her mouth on Tuesday and there was no sign but it's popped out quite far tonight.

GunShotResidue · 24/04/2015 07:20

Teething is better than just becoming nocturnal I guess! I hope she slept better last night.
