hales I can't believe that - you always remember what's going on with everyone and make a point of asking after poorly or sad things. I think you're lovely!

halestone · 06/12/2014 01:52

Blush Thank You WL.

I am currently lay on the couch fuming as all DP has done is make snarky little comments since i got home from work. This is after i spent an hour taking nits out of DSD's hair i am not in the best of moods again right now.

A lovely day so far today, just gutted i'm off to work shortly.

How has everyones weekend been so far?

PurplePidjin · 06/12/2014 17:57

Just put R to bed with no dinner Hmm he wasn't being naughty, just refusing to eat. So I took his word for it. Very odd. Normally if he's messing around and I make to get him out of the high chair he kicks off and decides to behave himself! I shall be on standby with the midnight weetabix

I've been slightly hung over today but luckily DH let me have a lie - I needed it after being up with T from 3.15 til 4.30. She's been super tricky today - lots of stropping about wanting things then being furious about having been given them etc.
I think I really need to grasp the bfing nettle. Not sure if I've got the strength for nights (will do it on my Xmas break at the latest) but am starting to refuse daytime feeds from now.
We went for a lovely woodland walk this morning and all enjoyed looking at the frost patterns on leaves etc then I took dd2 to a party - no clinging or crying!! Such a relief and DH took dd1 to her brownies panto.
Just about to crawl into bed.

halestone · 07/12/2014 07:48

Did R wake up Pidj?

WL, it sounds like you needed a lie in. Hope the hangover has gone today. Good luck with the BF.

It's H's birthday and i'm lay in bed all excited waiting for her to wake up next to me unfortunately shes snoring so it could be a while.

WLmum · 07/12/2014 08:31

Well done to R Grin

Thank you for your birthday wishes, H has had a good day i think. She has been slightly overwhelmed at times though and has fell asleep in my arms now, so i'm going to leave her here while shes happy.

ddas · 07/12/2014 21:52

Happy birthday H!!

Dd was the same. Loved her birthday but exhausted by the end.

WLmum · 07/12/2014 23:06

Glad she had a good day hales. Sleeping in your arms sounds like a perfect ending.

halestone · 07/12/2014 23:44

We both woke up at 8pm consequently we're wide eyed and playing with her new kitchen. Grin

halestone · 08/12/2014 12:36

PurplePidjin · 08/12/2014 13:15

I've not put my decorations up yet i'm doing them on saturday night when i finish work. Have you done yours yet Pidj?

Stacks · 08/12/2014 15:17

Morning.

Happy birthday to H, sounds like you both had a good day hales.

I think we're heading toward naps ending, had a few days of skipped naps. Though interspersed with a day or so of napping 2+ hours. I thought naps would just get shorter till the stopped, rather than a sudden stop out of the blue? Luckily he seems to be able to get through to bed time without a nap, or any bad behaviour or over tiredness.

He's just woke up, time is up here. Just wish I could get both kids properly in sync with sleeps. One day right?

PurplePidjin · 08/12/2014 17:16

Yes, we were early this year! They live on the top shelf of R's wardrobe so I'd hauled them out to sort through and he spotted the tree and got all excited. So I bunged that up with a set of lights on and am adding bits as I go alolng Blush

It's a bit tasteful atm; white star, white lights, clear baubles, one knitted bauble we were given last year and a small toy santa who watches to see if he's been good Wink I just need to sew in some ends and I can hang the homemade ones too!

OP posts:
halestone · 08/12/2014 17:28

I can never decorate tastefully it always ends up looking like someone vomited decorations onto my tree.

Stacks, H dropped her naps suddenly a while ago but when she did she fell into a night time routine which she never had. However twice last week she napped unexpectedly during the day and it led to really late nights. i did enjoy having her in my arms though

PurplePidjin · 08/12/2014 17:33

It was a complete accident! Everything else is still in my parents' loft :o
