BP dairy and soya free? Recipe please

BigPigLittlePig · 12/07/2014 12:24

And egg Smile

Ready made puff pastry, rolled out thinly into a rectangle. Then cover it in a layer of 75g vitalite, 75g soft brown sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. Roll it into a sausage, then cut round slices, about 1.5cm thick. Onto a lined baking tray, then gently squished and sprinkled with a little more brown sugar, and cooked at gas mark 6 for 10 mins. YUM!

Hint. Resist the temptation to look before 10 mins, as looks as though a disaster has occurred. I was a bit Shock then as the pastry rose up through a sea of molten sugar Smile

BigPigLittlePig · 12/07/2014 12:24

I was going to take a photo to share however they were eaten before I could Confused

ValiumQueen · 12/07/2014 13:11

thank you. I will do that for tomorrow's baking activity. Today we have banana and sultana mini muffins and giant blueberry muffins. Both contain egg though.

PetiteRaleuse · 12/07/2014 14:47

DD1 is hving bright moments but tiring easily. Even with paracetamol the temperature won't come below 38. I'm sure by Monday she will be fine but there is a risk that we cancel our trip away if not, or if LO catches it.

There's not really any other symptom.

ValiumQueen · 12/07/2014 16:00

Fingers crossed it will fuck off soon and stay away PR Brew

ValiumQueen · 12/07/2014 16:02

The muffins are all in the freezer now, apart from the ones we had at snack. They are just too good to leave out. They will do the kids lunches this week.

Pikz · 12/07/2014 18:23

Came on to catch up and just sat drowning in drool at muffins and cinnamon swirls Grin

ValiumQueen · 12/07/2014 18:24

clearly everyone is out having fun, except poor Kyz and E, and PR and LO.

ValiumQueen · 12/07/2014 18:25

Hello Pikz Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 12/07/2014 18:32

I have just popped in too but ended up in a puddle of drool also.

Ok day today, let's check the news and see if it has been peaceful everywhere. Not great weather though. Looking foward to Wine

MsJupiter · 12/07/2014 18:38

Hello quiet quiche. We have been out in the sunshine. Such a hot day.

I think I have missed what's happened with Kyz. I hope she's ok.

StuntNun · 12/07/2014 18:49

Make sure you can pronounce eight 'ee-tut' and film 'fillum' Wanda. Grin

Kyz LO is in hospital with a gastro bug. They are running tests to check it's just a bug. She's been upddating on FB but not in the quiche.

Zamboni · 12/07/2014 19:03

Hi all. Hope DD1 is ok PR and trip still goes away. Same for kyz's E.

BP yum, yum YUM! We will try that too! Thanks for sharing.

eliza sounds like a lovely weekend and fab report Smile

Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather. We are visiting my DSis and BIL-tb who have just bought their first mansion house. Am thrilled for them and have no twinge of the green eyed monster at all GrinWink

Drove up last night and passed Stonehenge at sunset - absolutely breathtaking no matter how often I see it. I hope one of the DC at least is fascinated by the past and I can indulge that interest of mine and cart them off visiting such places willingly. We had a BBQ today and then DSis let me nap most of the arvo while the DC ran themselves into exhaustion in the garden. Just waiting for zonko DC before Wine time!

PetiteRaleuse · 12/07/2014 19:20

Shit weather here. Should be ok next week.

DD1 has gone with daddy to sleep in her new bed. It's a super kingsize with memory foam mattress. DH messed up the order. He was supposed to get a small double, like ours. He went and bought her a quilt today. A huge fuck off feather eiderdown which cost a stupid amount. I am jealous of her bed and quilt. I admit it. It is wasted on a toddler.

I'd have put her bed in our room and given her our far inferior bed and mattress, but we can't dismantle it. Plus it wouldn't fit in our room. Her room is bigger.

PetiteRaleuse · 12/07/2014 19:23

And DD1 is still feverish but had energy spikes this evening and ate a good meal. I think tomorrow she will be on the mend. I am assuming a random virus. Flu would be worse. But toddlers get flu-lite. Last year she just had fever and was a bit off, and I was in bed for three days and thought I was dying :o

Wandathewindfairy · 12/07/2014 19:50

I would swap rooms pr.

Zamboni · 12/07/2014 19:57

Yes so would I wanda. Is that an option?

PetiteRaleuse · 12/07/2014 20:03

My room has the wardrobes. But if she decides she doesn't like her new bed I will offer the choice. Because I really want that bed.

Passmethecrisps · 12/07/2014 21:13

The bed sounds amazing.

Today we opted not to give p a nap as she woke very late after a very late night and we felt she had to get back into some sort of routine. She coped really well during the day but bedtime was a bit of a trauma. An hour of overtired screaming, flinging her dummy away, laughing when I walked in to get it for her, demanding constant renditions of twinkle twinkle (I must check the other verses) and more histrionic screaming leading to choking and almost being sick. Thankfully some daddy cuddles calmed her down and she eventually settled. Phew! I am so very grateful that we don't have that regularly so mucho Wine to those that do.

Passmethecrisps · 12/07/2014 21:23

And now we are watching Coming to America. It is utterly ridiculous.

We got our telly aerial fixed yesterday after more than a year of just a very small handful of channels working so we are gorging ourselves on crap telly

Passmethecrisps · 12/07/2014 21:27

Oh and here's a question for you all - of the utmost importance obviously

I was with a group of friends yesterday and one mentioned waxing. She was wincy about leg waxing but gets her bikini line waxed on a regular basis. I appear to be the only woman in the world who has never had this done. Would you really wax you fanjo and not your legs?

Am I really the only woman in the world who leaves her lady garden alone?

ChasingDaisy · 12/07/2014 21:27

Hi all

Fairly shit day here. After a wonderful week off work spent having quality time with O, I am missing him dreadfully today. Then had a rubbish date with pilot guy. He really isn't interested, so I won't be seeing him again. Pretty gutted by that actually. Now I've got very painful sinuses/neck - so painful it is making me cry and painkillers won't touch it. I just want someone to come and look after me, but instead I am alone sobbing on the sofa.

PetiteRaleuse · 12/07/2014 21:34

pass my lady garden is well intact. Shaved once to please a bloke and got awful boils with the regrowth . Could never get it waxed due to a beauty spot. Which would be ripped off if waxed Which is fine becasue I like my lady garden.

So sorry
