I had said I wouldn't go tomorrow but I think I should give it benefit of the doubt. From what I hear, here is about families not politics so I will see. I did take the Americans to see some matching bands a couple of weeks ago and I have to say was a lovely family atmosphere, v relaxed and just people having fun. So we will see.

It looks like it might be a washout though!!!

I am sat in our wood shelter. The sky, under the clouds, is yellow. The kids are in bed. Am hoping to enjoy a proper storm.

The cows next door but one are hysterical, the dog won't go outside, the cat has just hidden in the girls' wendy house. Spiders are rushing into the house (am spraying the buggers). It's going to be spectacular isn't it?

Not being rude about my neighbours btw. Next door but one is a field full of cows.

The sky is yellow the opposite side to where the sun is. the sun is the other side of the house. Or would be. If it wasn't hidden by cloud.

Not Legal Highs! Fucking dangerous shit! They are giving free samples to school kids in the town near me, and we have a Head shop too. Bastards!

I have an ex-pupil died on his last day on uni because he took a reaction to a legal high. His dissertation topic was a study of why young people take legal highs and drink alcohol.

They are basically chemical mixtures which are created to replicate the effect of ecstasy and the like. They are legal because they haven't been tested and aren't known.

Gaaah I have seen some horrid reactions to legal highs - seizures, psychosis etc, fucking dangerous and outrageous that they are sold on the high street. The drug companies get around the law by adjusting the chemical formula by one molecule.

But legal highs are a Thing? When I was young and nutty legal highs meant smoking catnip.

No they are a whole actual thing - wih v inventive names. Pink panther. Clockwork orange. Those were the 2 recent ones I have encountered.

Like ours was chat about smoking dried banana skin. Sadly no, legal highs nowadays are a much more dangerous game

I remember 'smoking' a homemade cigarette made with a piece of paper ripped out a jotter and filled with grass cuttings from the lawn mower.

I misunderstood people talking about smoking grass. . .
