Hope everyone finds this and I haven't doubled up!

I've got really bad back pain and ds is spinning on his zebra crying. No idea why!

Hello ladies, we're back from our camping trip. Had a fun te but poor T was poorly until the day we came home. The high temp she had last week kept coming back and she was pretty miserable. I think it was just a horrid virus. All she wanted to do was to bf again! In the end I let her as it was only thing that brought her comfort but I don't think there's any milk there.
I've spent almost all day cooking as after camp food I wanted some nice fresh stuff (including homemade blueberry muffins with blueberries from the garden!).
Can't believe nutella hasn't shelled baby nut yet. I'm excited for you nutella!
spotty mine always get bored of sticker charts etc super quick so I use chocolate! If they are good and stay in their beds until 6.45am they get a couple of buttons or magic stars as soon as we go down. Any shenanigans and they lose them. Works a treat.

WLmum · 10/08/2014 22:20

Love the shoes pidj - I'm excited for you too! Bet your wedding will be ace.

MrsNutella · 11/08/2014 09:35

I think this baby has chosen to be a medical miracle. I'm going to be pregnant forever!!

HmmConfused

40+12 today

SpottyTeacakes · 11/08/2014 09:39

Oh no Nutella! There's another poster who's got a thread in chat she's 40+12 too.

I think I might move ds' cot so dd can't climb into it. I'm not a fan of reward charts and no amount of threats/treats seems to bother her at all so I think.

Nutella I was 40+12 with O, so you never know!

halestone · 11/08/2014 14:00

Nutella, i vote you tell DH that he has to take DS out whilst you have a long peaceful bath and enjoy some alone time whilst you can.

Stacks · 11/08/2014 15:29

nutella sorry, but I got to 40+16 with DS, and he'd still have been a no show then if they'd not forced him out! Do you have an induction booked? It can't be long now either way, hang in there and look forward to baby cuddles by the weekend!

PurplePidjin · 11/08/2014 18:11

A friend went to 40+14 with her first, second arrived a couple of days before due date right in the middle of her moving into a new house! Maybe some physical exertion might get things going - long walk, scrub the floors? I prefer the bath and peace option personally

halestone · 11/08/2014 21:26

I have somehow, today ended up with a huge scratch across my left breast but have no recollection of how i got it. It was very bloody as well, this is what children do to me. Pre-children i would of known exactly how i got this type of injury falling over drunk usually but not had alcohol since april

WLmum · 11/08/2014 23:30

nutella long walk followed by relaxing bath gets my vote. As stacks says, whatever happens you'll be cuddling a beautiful newborn by the weekend. Oh and cake, cake def gets them moving!
Just had my belated leaving do from my old j

WLmum · 11/08/2014 23:30

Job. 'Twas very nice.

PurplePidjin · 12/08/2014 08:03

MrsNutella · 12/08/2014 08:23

stacks how did you get to 40+16?! Here their eyes almost popped out of their heads when I was +10! Grin

pidj BrewBrewBrewBrew don't drink it all at once though! Biscuit

Well, we started induction Sunday morning. Came back yesterday and after the second dose at 14:30 ish my waters broke just after 4pm.
Baby Helena arrived at 17:56.

I almost had a water birth but we didn't have time for the bath to fill so I was kneeling and just got wet knees reallyGrin

utopian99 · 12/08/2014 08:55

I'll join you in that coffee pidj

Hurrah for baby Helena and for you Nutella! That's cheered me up no end after a morning of O being utterly grim. I suspect it's the tail end of his cold but for some reason I'm just coping really badly.

Lovely name too. Smile

halestone · 12/08/2014 09:37

halestone · 13/08/2014 08:38

Think H had alot of nightmares last night, she woke up screaming loads but it was a different scream to usual. I don't think it helped that i had to unexpectedly stay late in work meaning my dad had to follow her night time routine i refuse to say hes better than me but he got her to sleep quicker than i can manage
