Hope everyone finds this and I haven't doubled up!

I've got really bad back pain and ds is spinning on his zebra crying. No idea why!

Utopian you could try a woggle/ noodle float.

halestone · 08/08/2014 10:03

Tbh Utopian i'm not really the best person to ask as its only the third time H has been in a pool and shes always used armbands. So i would recommend them from a personal point of view but Beasty and Maryland have taken their DD swimming for a long time so could probably give better advice. I do like the fact that H is quite confident in them and i just hovered near by.

Spotty, i think it was rude of your neighbours not to apologise.

SpottyTeacakes · 08/08/2014 15:28

I've been at work today but mil said they've been letting off more bangers which is twattish because there's a few horses in the fields at the back of our houses Angry

I'd love to take F swimming but he really dislikes his face getting wet, washing his hair is quite traumatic so swimming would be so stressful. We took him twice whilst at centre parcs but he only really wanted to paddle.

Nutella, surely babynut will get an official eviction notice within the week unless things happen soon? Whatever happens, hope it all goes well
Yay for FoD too!

Stacks, what stupid neighbours.

Can I share a proud mummy moment? F brought me his shape sorter so I would empty the pieces and then all by himself he moved the container round until he found the colour coordinating hole to put the shapes into. Hd got it right first go for every shape!!

PurplePidjin · 08/08/2014 20:02

Just ordered my shoes :o

MrsNutella · 08/08/2014 20:48

coffee we have to go to the hospital for a check up again tomorrow. I'm sure induction will be discussed. Hmm There is a full moon on Sunday so I'm going to beg for two more days... Even though I have had enough really I'm not ready yet for induction.

pidj nice shoes!

I'm off for a bath. Hopefully I'll be back with some baby news soon.

halestone · 08/08/2014 22:31

Well Done to F Grin

Pidj those shoes are beautiful.

Nutella, i love that your not pressuring yourself.

1st time i've let DP do bedtime and hes still upstairs and i can hear H. But i can also hear DP despite me telling him loads that he has to completely ignore her.

Barbeasty · 09/08/2014 07:00

Oh dear Hales!

DD had a sleep over at MIL's last night, with lots of cousins. We were worried A wouldn't sleep well, because he gets upset if he wakes and she isn't in the room, but he was asleep within 10 minutes, slept through the night, and is still asleep now.

I did confuse him though. I thought that since DD wasn't there, I'd see if he would sleep in her bed- try him in a bed without the hassle of taking the sides of his cot. He just looked at me with a very confused expression and went to stand by the cot!

There might be a second sleepover tonight, and if A sleeps well again tomorrow will be spent swapping rooms around to split them up!!

Hope you get what you want today Nutella, love the shoes Pidj, hope your neighbours were better last night Spotty (we can tell when the adults are away near us, we can smell the dope....)

I have been reading, just been busy at work in my new job and not passing time on the Internet so less time to post.

SpottyTeacakes · 09/08/2014 07:05

Beasty our neighbours kids smoke weed whilst their mum is home! She's a teacher! She's been signed off work for two years and just lets them do what they like.

Pidj they're amazing!

I went out last night to a colleagues leaving do, I drove but feel rubbish. Probably lack of sleep. The rain was horrendous coming back too.

Barbeasty · 09/08/2014 19:06

What a contrast- one very, very, extremaly.... overtired DD home. She's bawling her eyes out, for many totally irrational reasons!

She didn't want much of her dinner, so A ate 5/6 of a full quiche and 1.5 bananas. DD ate his salad and a few slices of banana!

SpottyTeacakes · 09/08/2014 19:24

I'm a bit tipsy Blush might have pot noodle Blush Grin

Bad Bad mood today, caused by DPs Ex and her family, who have apparently made a point of telling DSD that they have blocked me on FB so that they don't see pictures of H. Yet last night proceeded to like every picture DP's mum has put on of H. I know its petty but its really irked me. Also DP's ex is a liar, i blocked her, but i appreciate she can't let the truth get in the way of a plan to delibrately piss me off!

PurplePidjin · 10/08/2014 11:57

Spotty how's your head this morning?

hales how very teenage of them Hmm Hard to do and easy to say but rise above and pity them for how pathetic their lives must be to need to create drama like that Sad

My dress fits

halestone · 10/08/2014 12:10

Pidj yay i hope your going to put pictures of your wedding day on facebook.

Been to watch DSD Morris Dancing this morning, H was mesmerised.

PurplePidjin · 10/08/2014 12:14

Of course! We've shared so much over the last 2 years Shock

R loves live music and dancing too. Can't wait till he finds out I play the fiddle, he's seen me with a guitar and was enthralled

Maryland2013 · 10/08/2014 12:14

Hales Pidj is right. Having lived with a similar situ for 12 years now, it really is much better for you to let this sort of crap go. Don't waste your energy. Instead laugh about what saddos they are, take pride in not being bothered.
It never stops. Even now, DH's ex is such a daft cow. I'm so glad we don't have to talk to her anymore!!

It's coming together now Pidj :)

PurplePidjin · 10/08/2014 12:47

Yup! Dress fits, shoes are on their way, bouquet is under construction (my lovely woolly huggers are making me flowers, I'll auction it for the Stroke Association once I'm done with it).

To do list:
*Await church email with dates
*Book pub for family lunch
*Work out how many invites I need (one per family for the people invited to the lunch, everyone else can be told in person) and buy and write them
*Find a suitable cover up for me
*Decide what to do with my hair - either up with a big flower or down with a coronet of them
*Buy outfits for DP and DS

halestone · 10/08/2014 14:31

Your both right, i was irritated but shall let it go, it will wind them up more to get no response from me. Its hard sometimes though.

Wow Pidj thats so organised, i can't wait to see the picturesGrin

utopian99 · 10/08/2014 17:29

Sounds like it's well under control pidj! Also LOVING the shoes.

Hales agree with the others - we have a friend with major social climbing/status anxiety issues who rarely misses a chance to attempt to one up me. It pisses her off more than anything that I don't care instead of getting competitive!

PurplePidjin · 10/08/2014 18:11

Oh yes, the only downside is not getting to see the mounting suppressed rage hales :o

It's a very quiet wedding. We don't want a huge fuss, we want our family and friends to see us say our vows and be happy with us. And we want to be married.

SpottyTeacakes · 10/08/2014 19:28

Dd keeps climbing into ds' cot when she goes to bed AngryAngry it wakes him up me we don't know how to stop her. Any ideas?

PurplePidjin · 10/08/2014 21:22

Gaffer tape?

halestone · 10/08/2014 21:46

haha Pidj excellent suggestion, which beats mine of a reward chart Spotty, every night she doesn't get into his cot she gets a sticker the next morning to place on her chart??
