Evening quiche.

Thanks for the Brews this morning - gratefully received!

Am v glad to hear that illnesses have vanished.

Wanda - great to hear the new routine is going well. We aim to sit down as a family for meals, on the 4 days F isn't at nursery. It does sometimes mean tea is a little earlier than I would like, but I remember family mealtimes growing up fondly.

Am Shock at £700 on food! It is amazing how little spends here and there add up quite dramatically. Dh found this out before, and learnt his lesson - luckily he's much better now.

Pidj here's hoping for more toilet success.

Um um um. I can't remember what else was said!

Today F got the dog treats out, stationed herself on her little garden chair and spent a happy 10 minutes ordering the dog "doooooow" and "sut" and sharing the treats liberally Grin

Congratulations vq

Wandathewindfairy · 11/06/2014 21:26

I get prize twat award.

It was a gorg day here, so when
O went to sleep I put on a vest top, my gardening jeans and sun creamed up.

Just now my lower back felt v hit and I thought " gosh it must be all that bending is so sore I wonder if it looks red?"

Yep. It looked red.

And the realisation crept over me. I had omitted to suncreAm that bit of my back, not realising my top would ride up with all the bending. Blush it is really bad.

I have smothered it in aloe jelly hoping I can save the situation.

ChasingDaisy · 11/06/2014 21:27

Watching OBEM and feeling broody for the first time in my life Shock

Also feeling very very restless and a bit manic for some reason. Is very strange and I'm not quite sure what it's all about...

ValiumQueen · 11/06/2014 21:27

ValiumQueen · 11/06/2014 21:44

We could have our own little commune Smile

BigPigLittlePig · 11/06/2014 21:49

Imagine finding a stairgate to fit those stairs!

Pikz · 11/06/2014 21:50

Omg VQ am properly in love with that house....and at that price is incredible!

ValiumQueen · 11/06/2014 22:01

Can I just point out that the Scottish system is 'offers over' so that might go for a lot lot more than that. I moved up from Lancashire and found house prices were pretty similar. We bought a house a lot smaller than our old one. Obviously compared to the South East it is a lot cheaper, but also the town it is in is thought to be a bit of a 'toilet'. But yes that house is lovely. I have already worked out how we could divide the accommodation Pass Smile

fruitpastilles · 11/06/2014 22:03

That house is amazing! I can't believe how much house there is for the money.

fruitpastilles · 11/06/2014 22:03

Ha, cross post vq

Passmethecrisps · 11/06/2014 22:07

Ahahahahahahaha! DH and I have been checking that one out as well! It would be perfect for our commune.

vq is right though, move that house 10 miles west and you would be looking at much more. Although, vq, you might be interested to know that apparently houses are typically going for the offers over price or less. Actually going over is currently unusual

GTbaby · 11/06/2014 22:09

WTF! I always refrain from your property drooling. But I caved. But wtf! Our 2up2down is of similar value Shock sigh. The down side of living in London.

Passmethecrisps · 11/06/2014 22:12

gt DH used to rent a two bed flat in hackney. It sold recently for £600,000. It was a nice enough flat but Shock

The other way to look at it is that my two bed semi is worth buttons so it is relatively the same.

PetiteRaleuse · 11/06/2014 22:14

Love that house.
