Ooh Inge to start a new thread. So if the last one was the one where they don't sleep, then they'll start to sleep now, yes?

I go back to work next Weds Kitty. DS started properly today. Full day today, tomorrow and Friday. I've just done a lovely yoga class and am using the next few days to have lunches, get hair cut etc. miss DS though. Sad

pear definitely want to hear all TTC details! I'm beginning to accept that I will do it all again but not yet!

No she didn't bring He's not necessarily crying when he wakes up. Just won't sleep. We did give him carol last night just in case but it didn't make a huge difference. He's been down for a few hours now though (although a bit disturbed) so hopefully a better night ahead!

Oh and Envy to too much sleep.

I think we have a word too. Ta. We say at ta ta to him wen we want him to give us something and now he says it when he's handing us things. Did it for ages earlier, handing me bricks and saying ta.

Loads going on with you all. Fab outing Agnu! Well done. And well done to all the good sleepers. Frus you must be so relieved.

Love all the mama talk. DS will say Mama but it means yummy, or more food or something similar. He says it when he's in his highchair and and wants food. Liking his 'ta' thing though. It definitely relates to giving things to us which is how we use it with him.

YES the sleep training has totally paid off She has stopped the midnight partying. Now if she does wake up, I feed her and put her straight back to bed. If she cries, it's only for a few minutes. Now I'm wondering if you're next in line for the sleep training lor ?

I swear M said "breakfast" yesterday after I asked her if she wanted some. It was crazy!

She is practically running around now. She's trying to share with everyone, which is so cute b/c then she immediately wants whatever she gave us back.

Yeah, DUDE! Where is PEAR???

Lorelei353 · 14/06/2014 05:33

We had planned to do some training last weekend but then he had a temperature so it wasn't the right time. He's been horribly unsettled since.

However he skipped his morning nap and only slept for 40 mins at nursery yesterday afternoon so was hanging last night. He's just slept 7.30-5 with just a brief bit of resettling at 11.30. Grin

"You don't care about me"?! How do you not laugh in his face?! How utterly ridiculous that he thinks you should care about him! Confused Enjoy your me-time! We're trying to decide what film to watch with our takeaway that DH has just gone to get. I'm not sure it matters really, I'll probably fall asleep as soon as I finish eating anyway. Busy day!

Lor that sounds like a good night! Smile Looks like most of the babies are sleeping a bit better now! Runt's recently decided he needs a half hour nap at 7.45 to be followed by 3 hours of playing! Hmm I think his teeth are bothering him, or it could be a minor cold. Either way I've pre-emptively dosed him up on ibuprofen before he went down tonight so hopefully he'll settle & actually stay asleep!

I lost my phone today... I left it in the toilet while we were out & realised just as we were about to drive home! I rushed back to find it but it wasn't there. Thankfully someone had handed it in to the nearby shop. They wouldn't hand it over until I explained where I lost it, loudly, with several people standing nearby! Blush Oh well, other than that & Calf being... rude loud stubborn out of control impatient particularly energetic... we had a rather lovely day!

Ahh, Forest Gump - good plan! We had KFC & watched a program about living on the American prairies. Runt started crying literally as DH sat down with his food. This has happened for several days running now. I think he can just sense food. We ended up having to bring him down & let him steal our chips just to keep him happy so we could eat our food while it was vaguely warm! Hmm

He's obsessed with food! He eats more than me on an average day, especially if there's pasta involved! According to the bag 75g is an appropriate sized portion for an adult. That would be more than enough for me. When I'm cooking for just the DC I have to do a minimum of 160g or there's much screaming! I've not yet come to a point where he stops eating pasta. Other foods that he's not so keen on or that he struggles to eat he'll throw on the floor after a while but whenever I put pasta in front of him it goes straight in his mouth - whole handfuls are swallowed within seconds of each other. It's quite something to see, in a disturbing 'deranged, starved animal' kind of way! He's getting to be a bit of a lump too! I don't think he's overweight, just rather sturdy! Calf still looked like an emaciated monkey at this age! At the moment Runt's just growing out of 9-12m clothes & Calf's in 18-24m. I'm almost certain that before Calf turns 4 they'll be sharing clothes! Crazy! But saves on sorting the washing!

Oh, bring, thanks for being the reason I have witch hazel gel in the house! My shoulders caught in the sun today & it's helping a lot! Grin

Ha! You are so welcome Agnu And hooray for some sun! Sounds like the weather has been good to you over there. For what it's worth, my DSs eat like they will never be given food again and they can also shovel in a couple pounds of pasta in a sitting. The boys have hollow legs and we are having to spend a fortune on food just to keep them going through the day. It's like I'm hearing "mum, I'm hungry" every 30 minutes. PS (I live in an American prairie state Grin )Thank goodness you got your phone back! EEk!

He seriously said that Frus??? Hmm I wasn't aware that affairs were a way of showing how much HE CARES about you. What a load of bull. Also, he can't take the kids b/c he's broke? Ohhh lady. I hope you had an enjoyable time watching Forrest Gump (it's one of my favorites!) and were able to put him out of your mind.

Yay for the sleep Lor! Every little helps.

M has a cold.... and now I've got a cold. Hoping she'll sleep tonight so I don't feel too craptastic in the morning. We have a busy week and I'll be back on-call again in about a week. I was so enjoying sleeping with my phone off Sad

Lorelei353 · 16/06/2014 09:54

Frus I can't believe he said that. Git.

Sounds like boys are eating everyone out of house and home. DS does have a pretty good appetite alright so I guess I can look forward to that when he's a bit older!

Boo to more colds bring. Hope it doesn't last long.

We had a little party for DS on Saturday. A few friends with kids and some without all came to the Royal Festival Hall on the Southbank. We laid out some toys and finger food. Really good fun. Also, since we live in a flat, DS has never climbed stairs or had a chance to try. One sight of the stairs in RFH and he was up them like a shot. So funny.

So, I know most of your DH's support Liverpool too. I think I have Stockholm Syndrome. I have suddenly developed a big crush on Steven Gerrard! Blush

bringonthetrumpets · 16/06/2014 21:35

Hahahhaha! YES Lor. Normally he's a bit "meh" to me, but there's just something about that new scruff look! Oh la, la! No shame here Grin

What is it with babies and stairs? M is obsessed with trying to climb them, but refuses to learn the rules of going back down on the belly instead of faceplanting into the rug. She for some reason hasn't figured that life's lesson out yet.

Sounds like a fun party! We are having a few people over this weekend for M's b-day (sniff, sniff, she's ONE on Wednesday!). It was originally supposed to be organized by my mum, but since she just basically sucks, we are having it at our house. Her reason for not wanting to have it at her house... her dog is due to have puppies soon and she doesn't want to have to move her dog bed somewhere more private so the kids won't disturb her. Hmm Glad she likes my kids so much.

We are currently awaiting a doozy of a storm that they are predicting to get severe. It's looking a bit ominous outside. It just feels like storms out there. We already got 8 inches of rain over the weekend, so this will be great for flooding the basement again.

Lorelei353 · 17/06/2014 08:15

ha ha. Glad it's not just me. Yes to scruff. Plus he's just fit.

I've always like Steven Gerard to lol
Bring is your weather ever good? I thought England was bad!!

bringonthetrumpets · 17/06/2014 17:40

Seriously, kitty. That's so true! I think I've always got a dramatic weather update for you gals. It thunderstormed for, like, 5 hours straight. They are predicting more storms tonight into tomorrow.

What are you doing to keep your LOs occupied this summer? We are 3 weeks into summer vaca and we are running out of ideas. Hmm

Oh I completely agree with you! We are no longer a nation of farmers who need the kids out of school to go plant and weed the fields and torturing their parents .

....Aaaannnnd, more dramatic weather updates, we have more storms brewing tonight. Huzzah for another 3 inches of rain (which will bring our grand total up to around 12 inches?). I can kiss my vegetable garden goodbye as it's all being washed away into the neighbor's back garden.

bringonthetrumpets · 19/06/2014 03:02

Happy first birthday to the last baby on the bus!

Anyone around?

Happy birthday! Cake

So that's it? They're all 1 now?! Madness! How do we put a stop to this? I keep telling them to stop growing up but they're very disobedient.

I do get newborn snuggles any day now... Not sure if I mentioned my friend about 2 months ago? She had complete previa & they were about to do an emergency section at 32 weeks when the bleeding suddenly stopped. This went on for a couple of weeks until they noticed the placenta had moved a bit, then a bit more... Ultimately she had a very quick natural labour a few days ago & now has a gorgeous little boy! Grin I'm dying to go visit them but I've got a nasty virus so I'm staying away. One of my other friends is also now overdue so I'll get more snuggles then too! It's going to be hard not to get really broody!

Lorelei353 · 19/06/2014 19:46

Go Team Gerrard, I mean, England! Grin

bringonthetrumpets · 19/06/2014 20:36

Awwh, lovely news agnu! So glad things worked out for her and the wee one. Your ovaries are going to ache and you're going to want another one! I guarantee it! Wink Grin

Yes, go team Gerrard! Actually, DH is downstairs with the kidlets trying to watch the game whilst up in the "office" guest bedroom with loads of shit in it, but at least it's quiet trying to catch up on shiz that I've left to the last minute!

peardrop2 · 19/06/2014 22:25

I've been doing a lot of googling and it does look like I have to stop bf in order to get a BFP Hmm
