I clean the patio doors quite often. We have paw prints one side and C shaped hand prints the other. The rest of the windows get cleaned perhaps two or three times a year.

DP got my exercise bike out of the shed at the weekend and I've been on it a few times but now my bum is so sore Blush Is there anything I can do to make it more comfortable or do I just have to put up with it?

BigPigLittlePig · 28/04/2014 19:32

Grin vq, what a line to greet me!

Bedtime an ongoing disaster this evening. Think the calpol is finally kicking in. .

PetiteRaleuse · 28/04/2014 19:52

Disastrous bedtime ongoing here too.

ValiumQueen · 28/04/2014 19:55

Just trying to liven things up a bit Grin

ValiumQueen · 28/04/2014 19:58

Perfect bedtime here, but it will all go tits up by 10.30 if the last few nights are anything to go by. He went to nursery today and looked really well this evening. I hope he is over this virus and has a bit of respite. We sure need some.

I had a day of tidying my children's bedrooms and sorting socks. And I may have watched a couple of episodes of Criminal Minds. I am watching it from the beginning again. I love that show.

ValiumQueen · 28/04/2014 19:59

What am I saying? Last few nights? Last 18 months more like.

ValiumQueen · 28/04/2014 20:00

The day before yesterday he bit me on the boob. Drew blood. Yesterday he did it again, and also bit DD2 on the bum. They were playing in the tunnel and she was obviously not moving fast enough.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/04/2014 20:03

LO down. I think it was toothache. Then a bit of I want to stay up with everyone else. Once the nurofen kicked in I bored her to sleep.

DD1 hyped up from a long nap at nursery.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/04/2014 20:04

vq DD1 was about 20mo when shebit another child at nursery (a one off thank god though she still hits occasionally) - is this the age they realise teeth and hands can be used as weapons?

Wandathewindfairy · 28/04/2014 20:20

I am a complete plonker.

I just booked my flights for work at the end of May and booked the wrong f return date.

And had to change it.

This incurring a £60 change charge.

I am now grovelling to a friend see if she can put me up for the night as not having to pay for accommodation will offset that. I fear she may be busy though as is half term. Plonker plonker plonker.

No vq not keen on bumsex tbh. Makes me go all clenchy just thinking about it.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/04/2014 20:29

Crap wanda what a pita.

How long is this going to go on for? :(

I have to drive on the motorway on Wednesday. Not done that since I was about 19. Not for more than one junction anyway.

Alternative is driving through city at rush hour. And will be in a hurry.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/04/2014 20:45

Am watching a French masterchef type show. They're handling their ingredients with tweezers it's so delicate. Why the actual fuck would you prepare anmain course with tweezers? I like cooking shows but hate it when they get so faffy!

YellowWellies · 28/04/2014 20:50

For a minute PR when you said "PITA" I thought that was in reference to the clenchy, clenchy bumsex comment Grin !

Wanda argh! I've pals down Oxford way who I'm sure would put you up if that's the right neck of the woods?

We had the dietician today. Jonas has chubbed up to the 25th centile for weight and between the 9th and 25th for height. No dairy challenging until the summer (our next appt is September - couldn't help but wonder if I'd have had DC2 by then? Confused ) and we've to keep him on full dose omeprazole until we challenge. He spent the appointment doing his zombie walk (DH and I sing Thriller when he walks!!!), eating the doctor's crayons and trying to pull her computer off her desk. Pass you're not the only one wondering if you've produced a brat!

J has been so stroppy since he's had his reflux / teething cough. I'm sure he's in discomfort as whilst always flappy he is just off the scale ATM. He's been waking 2-3 times before we go to bed (thankfully only rarely once we're in bed), sicking up medicines if given via syringe, often smells v acidy. I'm wondering if he's reacting to the Nesquik I've been adding to his koko - it warns it may contain soy but the chocolate one has no allergy info and I'm worrying it might contain trace milk? Nestlé being the utter thunder twunts they are have zero useful allergy information online Envy .

BigPigLittlePig · 28/04/2014 21:09

Yay for porking up, yw.

Hope all is quiet in the pr/vq households.

Wanda you are indeed a plonker Grin albeit a lovely one.

Good news, has a phonecall today from the childrens hospital with an appointment for next weds. Am trying not to be too Confused about the fact it is in the clinical investigation unit...

StuntNun · 28/04/2014 21:09

Why won't this child go to sleep? Fucking separation anxiety. He's a complete nightmare at the moment. He's been crying for the last four days, screaming and clutching at me if I so much as look like I'm about to stand up, yet put him down out of the house and he bolts away from me. I can't do anything unless he's asleep and it takes up to 90 minutes to get him down for a nap or at bedtime. We're on 80 minutes so far tonight. Confused

GTbaby · 28/04/2014 22:41

Oh dear I've not cleaned our windows in about a year Shock

Anyone else's lo scream all day long to go out? Second I get to him in the morning. Starting with (out) baa? In a hopeful way to baa? In a pleading way. Screaming baa in a GIVE ME WHAT I WANT way.

Passmethecrisps · 28/04/2014 22:53

P does that gt. She will put on her hat and coat if they are in reach.

P did a pee in her potty! then another on the floor

GTbaby · 29/04/2014 01:07

H will get all our going out things and chuck them at me. Even drag over As car seat. So now I have to keep it in the front room. I feel bad for him some says as he wants to go out and explore the world and I just want to lay down on the couch Blush

GTbaby · 29/04/2014 01:16

Did you do the windows fruit. Every 12 weeks is totally ok IMHO

Wanda what did you eat today?
I'm fasting tomorrow
Boiled egg
Feta cheese with green salad
Chicken the veggies.

ValiumQueen · 29/04/2014 04:02

Another crap night for a change. My cough, DHs cough, DD1 cough and temp, J cough so in with us since 11. This must end some time. It just must!

So sorry to hear of the error Wanda (((hug)))

Wandathewindfairy · 29/04/2014 06:32

gt yesterday I had a v small porridge (30 grams of oats) with a couple of blueberries on top and a strawberry, them for lunch I had a 2 egg omelette. For dinner I had a big bowl of butternut squash, carrot and parsnip soup with 1 slice of Tesco Danish bread (which is like nimble) the for snacks I had a couple of rice cakes and a banana. Today is a regular day but I am going to try and keep it good. I have made my food entries open for friends to see on MFP so when I log you can see there, I like to see other peoples stuff it gives me ideas. However, i sometimes fail to log because I cook from fresh all the time and make stuff I keep having to enter new recipes and it gets to be a bind.
