Gah, calpol administered and dirty nappy changed and he's still grumping Sad My bath is getting cold, I want my dinner and I have hooking to do

BigPigLittlePig · 11/05/2014 19:39

VQ have just been chortling at the maggot thread whilst putting F to bed Grin Poor girl kept getting disturbed by my sniggering.

Well done Lily Thanks Thanks Thanks

ValiumQueen · 11/05/2014 19:55
Grin
FatimaLovesBread · 11/05/2014 20:01

Wow zamboni! Fab start!

Well done lily awesome time, and in that heat faints

DH was in a grumpy arse mood this am so we went out without him. Went for a lovely lunch and then been to my sisters.

Got home and for some reason I felt motivated so I managed to get off my arse and do the shred go me Grin
My shoulder clunks when I do the warm up moves and I now feel like in dead but apart from that, all good. Oh and I've discovered I can't do the jumping jacks without pissing myself Blush any ideas what I can do instead?

I'm now laid in the bath relaxing and feeling a bit more positive Smile

fruitpastilles · 11/05/2014 20:48

I use my steamer nearly every day pr I didn't have one pre S but couldn't live without it now. It broke a couple of weeks ago and I didn't know how to cook my salmon without it Blush thankfully we got a new one a few days later so salmon eating has resumed.

ChasingDaisy · 11/05/2014 20:51

That's excellent to hear Fatima Smile

Passmethecrisps · 11/05/2014 20:56

Good stuff fatima!

8Ib zamboni? That is astonishing! Great work.

P has been in bed since 7:30. She was absolutely asleep on her feet before bed as she kept randomly lying down and cuddling up.

Now she is up there practicing for the next Eurovision. We have had meows, daddy! Thank you! And the sort of changes of singing pitch and tone that would impress Celine Dion

PurplePidjin · 11/05/2014 21:04

Pass R doesn't do animal noises, but pigeons go Coo Coo Hmm to go with Cars going Vrrm (with associated lip vibrations) and Dragons/Dinosaurs going ARR Hmm

Anyone know why my child refuses to do dogs, cats, pigs, sheep, y'know, normal animal noises?

YellowWellies · 11/05/2014 21:17

Fatima I discovered the same thing when I went on a trampoline! Blush

Passmethecrisps · 11/05/2014 21:18

'Cause they are total dullsville? All animals go meow in crisp acres. If I make a sound then she repeats but if left up to her own devices she meows.

StuntNun · 11/05/2014 21:32

Just got J to sleep at 9:25. Aaaaaarrrrggh!

Sending love, pelvic floor strengtheners and Wine

Passmethecrisps · 11/05/2014 21:42

Weird. My pelvic floor seems largely the same as before but occasionally takes me completely by surprise by its total laziness.

I meant to ask. Particularly FFers. P has become quite obsessed with my boobs. This morning she pulled my top right down and very seriously pointed and said "boobies". Then she decided to go from below and lifted my top up and did the same thing. She pulls my bra right off if she can. It is weird as because she was never properly BF boobs have never been a factor so why the interest?

PurplePidjin · 11/05/2014 21:42

I hope so, Pass, the alternative is that he's inherited my sense of humour poor little sod

Wine for stunt

YellowWellies · 11/05/2014 22:06

Pass is your CM BFing at the mo? J still likes to pat my norks in the way you'd pat the bonnet on a 'reliable old motor'. I think instinct is stronger than we think?

BigPigLittlePig · 11/05/2014 22:08

Pass F is obsessed wih boobies, and not just mine. She likes to go for her key workers, and indeed other little girls too Blush It has been a long while since I bf her. Perhaps a phase?

BigPigLittlePig · 11/05/2014 22:10

Forgot to say the other day, Fs fave new word is doctor Grin Said vair serious - " dock-(pause)-teeerrr"

Passmethecrisps · 11/05/2014 22:12

CM is long stopped bfing as her dd is 6. However, we know that the dd is quite keen on talking about when she had "booby milk" and so on. I suspect it is something the other kids have been talking about. Certainly the way she behaves suggests she knows it is different to a knee or her ears if that makes sense?

DH says he has seen p patting the CM's boobs if she is being held.

A phase I reckon which will probably be compounded by the fact she can pick up that it is 'different'

flouncymcflouncerson · 11/05/2014 22:37

I had my free spa day today to make up for my birthday nightmare. Was lovely.

Am now in bed and for the first time in weeks when I put J to bed he didn't cry bout waved and blow me kisses. He still doesn't speak. Not even mummy anymore. He used to say mum and has said other words once each.... Burger, toilet, papa and yes but now says nothing. Very odd but I think he's just lazy. He understands everything I ask him to do, like go get his shoes or jacket, go To front door or kitchen etc. Not worried about it but e was such a chatterbox it's funny how they're so different.

Tidying and cleaning planned for tomorrow as mums gonna come over and babysit.... Still looking for tips!

GTbaby · 11/05/2014 23:50

My arm is slumped over the cot holding A's hand. When I let go he wakes. Fml

GTbaby · 11/05/2014 23:55

On booby talk. H is also a lil obsessed with boobs. With grab my top and pull it down. Not been bf since he was 4weeks. Maybe it's just a thing they go thro. Or we notice it more because its our boobs?
I try not to stop him, distraction. Works ok tho.

flouncymcflouncerson · 12/05/2014 00:30

Just giving calpol as he won't settle....

flouncymcflouncerson · 12/05/2014 04:06

Up again. I'm so tired Sad Sad

YellowWellies · 12/05/2014 05:09

Izzy us too. His sleep has gone to shit since Thursday with getting two molars. Hurry up already! So refluxy even with omeprazole Sad poor sod. Still nursery today so I can nap. DH has been up with him twice I said I'd do this one as he's up for work at 7. It's getting light. Boo. Still the bear is snoring. Shall I risk a transfer? Hmm

Zamboni · 12/05/2014 06:10

Pass S too and he was last BF at 16 weeks. It must be an instinctive comfort thing. DD (3) also does it from time to time, she was only BF marginally longer.

S went to sleep in his big boy bed! Actually fell asleep in it I was practically in it with him, but still. Woke up at 11pm, found him half asleep stumbling around his room so he was in the rest of the night with me and then woke at 4am. Oh well, plenty of time to get ready for the gym!
