Littlelife, that's it. Thank you vq I couldn't remember what they were called.

StuntNun · 11/05/2014 08:37

We have the shark LittleLife backpack VQ but I didn't know J would have a dinosaur obsession when I bought it.

Due to the vagaries of online supermarket shopping I have a 3kg joint of pork for Sunday lunch. Shock Going to have to start cooking before 10 a.m. I think.

We have the LittleLife bee. Lawrence loves bees which is handy. Zzzzz. He doesn't love being restrained though and pulls away a lot. He is a bolter and hates holding hands! I wish the 'lead' was retractable or there was an easy place to pop it when I do want to let him go - other than in the actual bp/hood compartment iyswim. But it is a brilliant invention.

FatimaLovesBread · 11/05/2014 09:07

We have the little life giraffe as I love giraffes Grin
M likes to carry a 'nana' around in it and often tell her grandma that there's a banana in it and she wants it when there isn't one in there

ValiumQueen · 11/05/2014 09:20

I like the spider one as it is fluffy, but it might get a bit hot for him in the summer, and the girls don't like spiders. We will probably go for the dinosaur.

ValiumQueen · 11/05/2014 09:34

I wanted the clown fish one initially, and the bee, cow and giraffe are lovely too. If I could find someone who stocked them in RL I could let him choose!

YellowWellies · 11/05/2014 10:08

VQ we've got the clownfish one and he hates it. Its like having a cat on a lead Envy I could send it to you if you like?

BigPigLittlePig · 11/05/2014 10:20

cat on a lead

Grin
ValiumQueen · 11/05/2014 10:43

Swap you for a quantity of gro bags YW?

Passmethecrisps · 11/05/2014 10:43

P has the cow one purely because DH found it half prove somewhere. In it we carry a nappy, some wipes and a bottle of water and sometimes a snack.

It is DH's birthday today. He is currently investigating lunch options as his first choice of birthday activity has been scuppered by my cold sore!!

ChasingDaisy · 11/05/2014 10:45

We have the dinosaur LittleLife backpack Smile

Lily completed her run in a super awesome time! Very proud Grin

fruitpastilles · 11/05/2014 11:47

I like the ladybird and giraffe, I'm going to order one tomorrow but am stuck between the 2.

Zamboni · 11/05/2014 12:15

S has the pink little life backpack. Someone bought it for DD and it's in great condition and S doesn't seem to care. In fact, DD started to object to it some time ago so it has been in a cupboard for ages but as soon as S started using she started to want it again. Grin

Well done Lily Wine

Fatima I have been in a rut too, exercising for a week has made such a difference but it has been v hard to start even though I knew it would help. Thanks

So I have had a busy week. Lots of work and events and then a fab day at Badminton Horse Trials yesterday. I've stuck to the extremely boring, repetitive protein/veg diet, done 2 weight training sessions and completed the first week of couch to 5k. V pleased to have lost 8lbs this week. So has DH. I have an enormous amount to lose but it is a good start and I'm feeling good about this attempt to actually break the cycle.

ChasingDaisy · 11/05/2014 12:28

Very jealous you were at Badminton Zamboni. Looking forward to watching the TV coverage later.

PurplePidjin · 11/05/2014 12:52

I wanted a Little Life one but my mum bought them for his birthday and got boring Tommee Tippee black ones "because they look more supportive" Sad Yeah but they're not cute and I can't make him carry his own nappy, can I Mother

Yay lily and Envy zamboni

Sunday school this morning. Then I used up nap time sewing. He's now chatting in his cot while I snaffle a few minutes to sit down and drink my cold Brew. He does have a new soaker and pair of longies ready to lanolise thought :o yes I know this is all greek to most quichesters but I'm very proud of myself and it's working on the nappy rash

and cost me under four quid plus an hour of my time

PetiteRaleuse · 11/05/2014 13:39

Envy zamboni

YellowWellies · 11/05/2014 15:33

Zamboni go you! Well done love!

VQ deal!

Jonas has been tucking into sushi rolls made by DH. He even nommed avocado! Wee social climber Blush - just need a babyccino playdate to complete the look. His appetite is returning but he's still really refluxy. Fecking molars....

Wandathewindfairy · 11/05/2014 16:44

Thanks to the vagaries of online shopping we have three very full tummies after a lovely Sunday lunch at stunts. Home now feet up in front of the fire while DS1 and O run it off outside!

ValiumQueen · 11/05/2014 16:56

Pass poor DH Grin

StuntNun · 11/05/2014 17:58

I used to walk my cat on a lead. Just sayin'.

Did yah wanda? How lovely! Impromptu, online shopping inspired Sunday lunch quiche meet!

Lily311 · 11/05/2014 18:05

Thanks everyone, did it in under 27 min. And I stopped twice for half a minute as the heat got to me, it was 30 degrees at one point. I hate the pictures of me though, only one I like (which shows my head and not my body). I run for the local children's ambulance so feeling good.

I have this rucksack, I got it on the local selling page in London for £5. I would like an awesome ladybird or giraffe one but this will do us.

November 2012 - This is the new fred, just like the old fred.
PurplePidjin · 11/05/2014 18:16

Stunt I used to take my house rabbit to the park on a lead :o Previous cat would tolerate it (he was run over while waiting for his Pets As Therapy paperwork to come through) and would've come to work with me in a cat basket strapped into a buggy

Well done lily and zamboni that's a brilliant start Thanks

We spent the afternoon visiting the local tip - the nice chaps are going to put a wooden TV unit aside for me so we'll go back later in the week - then went to Home Bargains, Homebase and Pets At Home to buy various things including a metal dog bowl to act as a sink and some tester pots of paint. Will scrounge some primer and magnolia or white emulsion off my dad along with a bit of sand paper and some paintbrushes then I'm ready to roll. Oh, hopefully a bit of tarpaulin so I can store it outside for sunny days when I can do some work on it :o Roll on Operation Play Kitchen!

And I have been very organised this evening. I roasted up enough potatoes etc for me along with R's and have defrosted myself a chop so I have a proper dinner. And have run my bath. He's now stirring, typically, so will get off my arse once he's resettled Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 11/05/2014 18:17

Well done lily

PetiteRaleuse · 11/05/2014 18:29

I bought a steamer a couple of weeks ago, one of those three tiered ones. Had never steamed anything before but asparagus season persuaded me. I love it. It's like when I got my mandoline. Am wondering why I cooked veg any other way.

NI quiche meet sounds fab and yum.

I meant to congrat zamboni on her health kick. Great news. I always feel so much better when I can exercise more.

It's fucking cold here so am going to pop into the local spa and go in their lovely hot outdoor pool this week to treat myself.
