Still feeling rough but no more symptoms. Car is fucked though Sad

Passmethecrisps · 30/04/2014 21:47

Arse biscuits

YellowWellies · 30/04/2014 21:55

Pass is that season one of the Fall or is the second season on? I LUFFED that programme so much I can't wait for season two. Gillian Anderson was a kick ass take no shit goddess in it.

Passmethecrisps · 30/04/2014 21:58

Season one from love film.

During my teens and early twenties and modelled myself of Gillian Anderson. Sometimes I still like to pretend I am her whilst strutting around the corridors at work Grin

PurplePidjin · 30/04/2014 22:06

Is it sacrilege to admit that I actually prefer the humour of the Belgariad and the complete other-universeness of Wheel of Time to Game of Thrones? I'm very much enjoying all the reading time I've had Book 1 but it doesn't outshine other series' of the genre Hmm

I'm not quite brave enough to facebook my opinion yet so asking you lot first

PurplePidjin · 30/04/2014 22:07

Pass I have knee high boots and a leather coat that make me feel like Buffy The Vampire Slayer Blush

Passmethecrisps · 30/04/2014 22:09

I used to wonder sometimes why I coloured my hair a bit reddy and do my makeup a certain way. Then I would remember that that was how scully did it.

I am sometimes very sorry that my children are not actually shape-shifting aliens. Does that make me bad?

Passmethecrisps · 30/04/2014 22:10

And I have never watched game of thrones. I admitted this at work the other day and all around were Shock

PurplePidjin · 30/04/2014 22:11

I wouldn't want one that could stretch through drains etc though

I used to watch with my dad when my mum went out but had to run off to bed before the music came on at the end because it creeped me out too much

Elizadoesdolittle · 30/04/2014 22:14

I still have the fall on my sky planner to watch. Must get round to it!

pr I'd not mention it either. It may come up in natural conversation at some point but I'd not raise it.

lily I hope you get a peaceful sleep tonight. Have been thinking of you today.

I bought some paedia sure shake from boots today in the hope that E would have that before bed but nope. She just spit it out.

Passmethecrisps · 30/04/2014 22:15

Who wouldn't want to be all ginger and pouty and sceptical and shit?

November 2012 - This is the new fred, just like the old fred.
Elizadoesdolittle · 30/04/2014 22:16

I absolutely love Game of Thrones. It is the only programme that i look forward to watching and make sure I watch it the night it's on. Everything else gets stacked up on my planner, not this.

BigPigLittlePig · 30/04/2014 22:24

Ginger and pouty and sceptical and shit Grin

Lily ((((hugs)))) Sometimes life deals a fucking dreadful set of cards. I am sorry you were dealt that hand xx

Pussypig has eaten another earplug Confused and is merrily purring/barfing his way round the house.

Passmethecrisps · 30/04/2014 22:26

Soak the earplugs in orange juice?

PurplePidjin · 30/04/2014 22:34

They haven't televised the other series Sad they hopefully will now though Grin

Kyz · 30/04/2014 22:34

Haven't been around enough to post but wanted to send some love your way lily xxx

stunt how are things? Hugs to you too, stuff sounds tough

Just so busy, sorry all :( x

StuntNun · 30/04/2014 22:51

It's all a bit hectic here tonight so I haven't caught up but a wee update: J has had his first dose of Omeprazole how the beep are you supposed to get the stuff to dissolve tonight and is seeing the GP again on Friday whereupon I will beg for a private referral for him. It's ridiculous that DH has private medical insurance but they won't give me a referral for him. I didn't even bother trying to put him to bed after the last few nights 1.5 hour plus session, just let him fall asleep of his own accord and put him in his cot. DH will be back tomorrow so at least I'll have some backup.

YellowWellies · 30/04/2014 23:06

Stunt is it the MUPS version? That dissolves pretty easily. Otherwise just snap the tablet in half, add slightly warmish water and leave for 10 minutes. I do it before dishing up meals.

Fingers crossed for the referral xx

ValiumQueen · 30/04/2014 23:30

Stunt if it is the MUPS it will not dissolve completely. Make sure you get all the little bits into him as that is where the goodness lies. I use about 10mls cold water and then put another few mls in to get the last few dregs. I use a syringe and give it towards the end of the meal. Strange boy loves the stuff.

J is asleep next to me as he kept waking crying and coughing. DD2 sounds like a seal and I want to be in with her. DD1 is not well, but sleeping peacefully.

I hope you are asleep and having lovely dreams Lily x

ValiumQueen · 30/04/2014 23:35

Oh, and Pass, I contacted Swiis as they give more info and keep advertising on the radio. I would prefer council though I think. Tonight it feels like a silly idea though.

I am glad I had a sleep today as I have yet to shut my eyes.

GTbaby · 01/05/2014 00:10

What a long day.
Sis came to the rescue and helped all day. Mum came and gave me a back rub. Hot water bottle. A heat patch on all day. Lots of exercises and stretches and pain killers. Back feels miles better then this morning. So tomorrow in taking it easy. May have to give the park a miss but don't want to trigger it again.

Managed to pack / put in one place all things I need for boys and I. Tomorrow put into bags before dropping them off.
Also got hair cut and dinner with sis.

It's thankful Thursday! What timing. I'm thankful for my sister helping me out and giving me time to rest my back. X

BigPigLittlePig · 01/05/2014 00:24

Stunt we put the granules on a spoon of jelly or custard or similar, goes down a treat.

Glad the back is better gt.

F is raging Sad

ValiumQueen · 01/05/2014 00:36

Glad about back GT.

What is bothering little pig?

Still not seen sleep but gonna try now.

diggerdigsdogs · 01/05/2014 02:48

Just waving to all and introducing my new nickname after I got locked out of my old one.

Wow, it's like I'm a brand new MNer - my first post!

Lily311 · 01/05/2014 05:16

Thank you all for the support yesterday, wanda said it well on FB, in this group I can really say how I feel. Only 2 people in real life called me yesterday, no one else acknowledged his bday. I feel hungover today despite not drinking alcohol, I think it's the tiredness and the illness. I'm so glad today is today.
