lily the balloon idea is a great one, and mark it somehow, remember I got some myself some lovely flowers on my mums birthday and I made a donation to the charity that funds research into her kind of cancer. I am pleased with myself this year as I felt that I had been constructive but not brushed my feelings under the carpet. Big hugs.

I always found it very soothing to drop a couple of my Mum's favourite flowers, or a floating candle and note to her into the Thames at Port Meadow on her anniversary to mark it. then go and get shitfaced But just do what feels right and don't beat yourself up for grieving, its healthy xxxx

I slept from around 9 to almost 3. Oops. Must have needed it I guess.

I also slept this afternoon. A good two hours.

I've been in bed all day too vq couldn't sleep though

r went to my mum where he slept for 30 minutes and didn't eat enough. so i'm now trying to spin out teatime which began at 3:45 to stop him filling up on biscuits. if he gets his way bedtime will be 4:30. fyck off am i letting that happen so i'm passing him one piece of dried papaya at a time while watching utterly random shite on cbeebies

every time i move i want to hurl. haven't yet. will raise a cup of weak tea for Lily, O and Leo later

First playdate with my ex shrink and her son this coming Sunday....

Should I address the elephant in the room or not bring up the fact she was my shrink?

PR I dunno, I would possibly just play it by ear. She knows the situation, you know the situation, so does anything actually need to be said? She knows perhaps a bit more about you than you would like, but she still wants to meet with you, so enjoy it

The kids are going to the same school in September so we may as well get used to it. In fact her ds should go to his village school but one of the main reasons he is being enrolled in our's is because DD1 will be there, they are that close. I hope they don't end up getting married
