Am guessing no sign of the wee man yet Pikz?!

Snotty baby with pooy nappy and high temp means I have abandoned my lovely bed for the night.

How did the wellies scan go, do we know?

And, is GT as pissed as a newt?

GTbaby · 19/04/2014 02:08

My ears are ringing Shock
Sleep time. Not pissed. On my own with the boys tomorrow morning. So had to be very good.

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 03:21

Aargh. J asleep in our bed but DD2 is suffering from Monsters in her Bedroom syndrome. She is trying to sleep in Js bed. I am coughing like I have TB and pretty fucked off as usual.

Pass I thought it was drums at the castle. Fucking inconsiderate. And as for the fucking lawn cutting! I know who did it though. I will have justice.

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 03:23

I hated having my ears ringing but well done for not getting bladdered GT.

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 03:23

BP hope you both get some rest

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 04:15

I am having a teeny tiny glimpse of insomnia here, and I do not like it. I am coughing to the point of needing to wear an actual nappy, and am feverish, but am also watching J sleeping like a baby, barely moving a muscle, hearing the other big and little ones snoring and shuffling around... I do not like it. I have a new found empathy for insomnia sufferers, and this is not insomnia. Just a glimpse I say, just a glimpse. (And yes I know screens are bad at night, but I am going a bit crazy here)

Lily311 · 19/04/2014 04:41

Hello vq, welcome to my world. Insomnia sucks. Been up for over an hour.

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 05:59
Pikz · 19/04/2014 06:43

Rejoices in the fact that L didn't take advantage of new found freedom.

Sorry for bad night BP and insomnia for lily and VQ.

Surprise day out from DP today, god help me

Lily311 · 19/04/2014 06:44

Thanks vq-, we are off to my parents in an hour or so and I intend to leave O there for 2 hours while I go to the swimming pool. Little girl had 5 fucking tantrums already as she wanted me to read books. I did read 5 stories, I can't physically read more without brushing my teeth. She is currently clinging onto my legs screaming her head off. I need to breathe.

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 08:37

Lily I know you may well not like this idea, but how about popping the TV on, or giving her the iPad for a few minutes while you try to do these things? I always swore I wouldn't with my first, and it was around this age I relented Blush

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 08:38

Yay Pikz Grin How many weeks now is it to the big day?

BigPigLittlePig · 19/04/2014 08:48

Surely it can't be morning already??

Brew Brew Brew for all.

VQ do you need antibiotics?!

Insomnia sucks, I had problems with it as a 15yr old, and would be awake for great swathes of the night. V frustrating.

Pikz · 19/04/2014 08:48

2 weeks today!

Elizadoesdolittle · 19/04/2014 09:04

Wow pikz how exciting! Grin

Elizadoesdolittle · 19/04/2014 09:05

I meant about the wedding but a surprise day out also sounds very exciting too.

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 09:19

Wow two weeks Grin

Yes, probably BP Hmm

ChasingDaisy · 19/04/2014 10:03

Morning all

Sympathies for insomnia sufferers. Have suffered in the past and there's nothing worse Brew

Lily, as you know, I also have a screamy leg clinger. It is very very frustrating. Enjoy your test today.

Pass your Friday sounded lovely. Were lots of families when I took O to the park yesterday.

Off out on my first run in years today. If I don't collapse/have a heart attack, I will consider it a success. I have my Busted album to listen to in preparation for the McBusted concert in 4 weeks GrinGrinGrin

GTbaby · 19/04/2014 11:10

So A did me a favour and skipped his 3.30am feed. So I got to sleep until 6.

Yesterday was lovely. Great view over the city. Had a few "I'm not going" moments. H woke from his nap and wouldn't stop crying. Milk biscuits hugs tv phone iPad. Nothing would sort him out. In end I just had to put him on sofa and leave him. He then slowly start calming down but would start again if we said anything to him.
Then the outfit I planned to wear looked awful. My spare tire is HUGE. Then it got worse when I realised my only option was to wear a dress I wore at H baby shower at 8months PG! Never a good realisation.

But I got out. Fh did ok. The kids survived. Lol.

Now need to think about my weight. Need to sort it out

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 11:33

I need to sort my weight too GT. I visited a friend yesterday with a swanky new sofa and struggled to get up off it as it was a bit too low for an old fat bird like me Confused

Perhaps we should start a support thread on FB?

BigPigLittlePig · 19/04/2014 11:40

1st nap of the day underway...on me.

VQ I wonder whose lovely new sofa that was?! bet it was dead comfy though

GT I'm glad you enjoyed the night, once you'd got there! Even better that A let you sleep.

GTbaby · 19/04/2014 11:54

Vq good ideas about support thread. I want to loose 3 stone and have been trying calorie counting since jan. but have lost no weight as I can't stick to it.
Think I may try 5:2 diet. As its just two days. Think I can manage that. But meaning to start for ages. Keep putting it off. All I beed to do is buy some chicken and salads stuff. But I'm lazy and give up too easy

PetiteRaleuse · 19/04/2014 12:01

Walk on the coast this morning, easter egg hunt with the cousins this afternoon.

ValiumQueen · 19/04/2014 12:05

I am thinking of the 5:2 also GT.

BP very comfy Grin

PR sounds lovely Smile

StuntNun · 19/04/2014 13:10

There's great support for 5:2 on MN. I think if I was doing it I would probably eat the same thing every fast day so that I don't have to think about what I'm eating, that way I would be less likely to go off track. I'm starting bulletproof intermittent fasting next week which means a bulletproof coffee for breakfast (coffee blended with butter and coconut oil) then you only eat food in a small window e.g. between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
