salt good to hear from you, have been thinking of you. I can't imagine how difficult this time is for you.

I need to get on my laptop to upload a picture as phone is being stubborn. Don't know when I'll manage but am loving seeing all these little people emerging. Not babies now!

CreepyCrawly · 30/04/2014 18:49

Such beautiful toddlers we all have! I've recently put all my photos onto the laptop so will put one of Nancy up soon.

Good to hear from you salt.

My dog (the one that stayed with my parents when I moved out) is being put to sleep tomorrow and I am absolutely dreading it.

Lora1982 · 30/04/2014 19:14

Oh no creepy :( thats so sad. Please go with him (her?) But as they go dont stand near the wee end. My poor sisters dog weed on her bastard of a cheating ex as his body relaxed, we see it as his final "fuck u you cheating sod" loved that doggy :( whats wrong is it old age or something else?

CreepyCrawly · 30/04/2014 21:00

Haha thanks for the advice lora! The vet is coming out to my parents' house so she'll be home which is nice. She's an old girl now, almost 11 - I had her for my 13th birthday!

Lostbobbles · 30/04/2014 21:18

Hello

Salt just read your devastating news, so very sorry, words fail. Look after yourself Xx

Been missing in action for a while, so much going on last few weeks. weddings, trip to Paris, birthdays, good friend emigrated.....

glorious · 01/05/2014 02:31

Oh great. Vom. Why does it always have to be at night.

Supposed to be starting new job in the morning Sad

Lostbobbles · 01/05/2014 10:27

Glorious, hope DD ok, timing is always crap, we have had two major nappy explosions last two days dead on school run time. yes i did put the real reason in the late book

Junip, it's amazing

glorious · 01/05/2014 15:31

She's fine today thanks. Me and DH both took half days so we've managed to do some work each. Not the best start though!

grr to exploding nappies at school time!

OohQuack · 02/05/2014 13:43

Looked after my friends 12 m dd saturday... my god im so pleased dexter is a happy chap and so easy to deal with, she can't crawl or cruise yet so she spent all day moaning and shouting. Least now I know what 'could have been' and im grateful it wasnt :-D

salt1 · 02/05/2014 21:13

mrsbug · 02/05/2014 21:18

salt she is beautiful

mrsbug · 02/05/2014 21:22

When I picked dd up from nursery today they said that she had been a bit off colour, then she was sick in the car on the way home, and she is never car sick. Then she didn't eat any dinner (unprecedented) and refused boob at bedtime (completely unprecedented). I'm guessing she's going down with a bug, just in time for the long weekend Sad

meringue33 · 02/05/2014 21:39

She's adorable Salt. Is Floss short for something?
Huge hugs to you both xx

Boo to all the germs flying around at the moment, come on summer and sort them out!

salt1 · 02/05/2014 21:48

floss is short for Florence meringue

Birdies · 02/05/2014 21:50

Who is oohquack?!

Hope it doesn't turn out to be anything mrsbug

salt she is utterly gorgeous (and her outfit is adorable!). Really hope you are both doing ok xx

AppleCrumples · 02/05/2014 22:03

oh no mrsbug sending healthy vibes :)

salt shes lovely. Hope you are both holding up ok x

oohquack are you lora in disguise?!

OohQuack · 02/05/2014 22:50

Yes sorry. I hoped youd guess! Just wanted to change so I could post stuff without it looking obvious who I was... with the name lora1982 its pretty easy to be outted isnt it :-D

Salt she still looks so young and the outfit is great! We got a penguin one which he insists is a duck.

Got all mother tiger earlier and completely lost my rag when mums foster boy (only 3 so still a baby himself) just pushed dexter flat on his face onto a pushchair. They usually love each other so I think it was boisterous play rather than nastiness but now I feel awful for shouting so madly.

JuniperTisane · 02/05/2014 22:59

Floss is beautiful Smile you should be very proud of her Salt. All our babies are good looking arent they?

Oohquack is Lora, surely? Is that what Dexter tries to say?

MrsBug sounds ominous. Fingers crossed it doesnt turn out to be too much. Dan had a bad night last night, kept waking but not quite, tossing and turning until he woke completely and wended up with ibuprofen and paracetamol. Bastard teeth. Hes better today though.

Its my dads 70th birrhday tomorrow so hes taking us all to the zoo! Enjoy the bank holiday everyone.

AppleCrumples · 02/05/2014 23:00

oohquack i like it :)

Poor Dexter.

Unfortunately i seem to be the one with the anti social toddler :( A 2 year old was forcibly pushed off a car bookcase at rhyme time a few weeks ago, was properly mortified! She seems to think shes in charge Blush

OohQuack · 02/05/2014 23:17

Dont they get the top pointy teeth about now? Dad says they either come easily or cause right trouble. That could be your sleep issues no doubt. His are on the way, even with ambesol and ibruprufen it took him over an hr to fall sleep, he doesnt cry about it though yet justs gets on with it. Poor souls tooth pain is agony at any age.

Yes we have definate quacks here, loves his ducks and birds.

Crumbles be pleased you have a child who knows what she wants! Dexters so unadventurous and placid he lets others pinch his stuff and just looks mournful and hes scared of swings and slides fgs he needs a backbone :-D

JuniperTisane · 02/05/2014 23:55

We get cak-cak for ducks and ca! for both cat and sheep Confused

Ds1 is placid, nice even temper and friends with everybody. Its a good thing to be. Dan is gung-ho to the point of danger but he always comes running to mummy when he scares himself. Hes very melodramatic and full of woe when he gets caught doing something naughty. Its funny.

meringue33 · 03/05/2014 07:13

Ah beautiful name, was on our girl list :)

Teeth defo an issue here at the moment, mummy has been given a good chew a few times Hmm

LetThereBeCupcakes · 03/05/2014 07:19

Apple mine is a bit like that. We were at soft play with a couple of friends the other day. One of my friends' little boy is only just finding his feet and still quite wobbly. DS took one look at him and just pushed him over. The little boy just disintegrated into tears. I was Blush and Angry.

DH is away this weekend and DS seems to be in full-on naughty toddler mode. Oh dear.
