I love it creepy , how perfect!

cupcakes hope it's not the pox, how is he now?

E has been snoozing on me most of today poor thing as she was up most of the night coughing Sad

I emailed hr about the job on Friday as it was the line manager of the job who told me it wasn't mine and the system still shows 'offer confirmed' but they haven't replied Angry No phone number. I just want to know what's going on!

LetThereBeCupcakes · 17/02/2014 15:54

Creepy just looked at that paint online - it's beautiful! And so appropriate. We decorated DS' room before he was born and I really regret it now. It had to be neutral as we didn't know he was a boy, and it was fine when he was newborn but just doesn't suit him now. DH would have a fit if I suggested redecorating though!

glorious your HR people sound as bad as ours! Big government department here and they are useless.

DS has been asleep for 3 hours. Rarely naps for more than 40 minutes at a time usually so he's obviously not himself poor mite.

BuntyCollocks · 17/02/2014 16:18

Hello all, these MMR jabs seem to be taking their toll, poor babies. We missed it again due to hand foot and mouth, so waiting our next appt.

C's reflux started playing up again at the weekend, so got very little sleep, and she was screaming in agony if she was put anywhere except my chest with a boob in her mouth, poor lamb. :(

Last night a bit better, so fingers crossed. We have an appt with a community paed consultant on Friday, so I'm going to ask for a referral back to hospital about the reflux. It was never treated/diagnosed by them, so I want both their expertise, and for an eye to be kept on it/a bit more help, as we are practically having to beg for her ranitidine, it's a pain getting a new prescription when she needs a bigger dose, and if it doesn't sort itself out by her next birthday, she'll have to have a little op to sort it out.

Sigh.

In other news, accompanied my friend who lost her baby in Sept for a reassurance scan at hospital today as she was feeling a bit upset and wobbly as she's not felt baby yet. We saw a proper little dancer, so hopefully she'll feel it soon, and she's finding out the flavour next week - so excited!

I have decided I definitely want another baby, but timing and persuading dh is going to be difficult. Everytime C has a bad night, his response is "I can't go back to this again!"

I point out A wasn't poorly, she is, and it will get better.

I really need C to be on her free hours as I can't afford all that childcare for a third, so it would have to be 2016 they'd arrive at the earliest, but my sister is getting married in July that year, and I'm chief bridesmaid - think she'd kill me! Blah.

Hope everyone is well - and why is it not friday yet??! :(

Thanks all for your answers to my period question. Guess everything's all over the place post-baby. Hopefully it'll settle down soon. Feeling slightly less PMT-mad now which is a relief.

Sorry to hear about all the poorly babes, get well soon. We've got jabs next Thursday and dreading it... Hope the consultant is helpful bunty.

glorious that's so frustrating Angry

Exciting news here is that I've just sold my flat! All I can say is the London market is utterly fucking ridiculous - in a good way for us, but I really feel for first time buyers. Plus we've been looking for somewhere bigger to buy and the prices are outrageous. We're v lucky to be in the position to buy anything though so I shan't moan.

Agree Bunty it should be Friday! I've been looking at Rightmove working from home today and it's gone soooo slowly. Looking forward to picking up DD from childminder in an hour.

meringuesnowflakes33 · 17/02/2014 17:26

Wish it was Friday Bunty! On the train home from an all day meeting in London.

DP got up with LO at 5.20am but I was up at 6 anyway and am full of cold.

That's v brave Bunty! Think it will be some time before I pluck up the courage for DC2 let alone DC3. Can't believe one of my NCT pals is due in July!

Angielka · 17/02/2014 19:32

Farrow and Ball - no wonder it's bloody lovely creepy gorgeous colour! Just perfect!

glorious · 17/02/2014 21:40

cupcakes so is mine - perhaps we work for the same one! Smile pm me if you want to know!

tugs yay for your flat! Come to Hither Green, it's very slightly cheaper here!

bunty how lovely to see the scan and to be there for your friend. I would love another but not until E is a bit bigger and learns to sleep. DH is unconvinced Sad but time for him to come round.

happyhow · 17/02/2014 22:20

Arrggghhhh! Keep trying to upload photos and it won't work!

We both really want another one and sooner rather than later. I had wanted 3 kids but given recent weeks, I've decided I'll do whatever it takes to get a second one and then if a third one happens fine, but don't think I'll push it. Hubby has always said he's happy having 2.

Great news on the flat tugs!

It's hard to believe it's not Friday, Bunty...

lollipoppi · 18/02/2014 09:40

Gorgeous colour creepy!!
We did DDs room after she was born, it's turquoise walls with cerise pink curtains and rug and Cath Kidson hand made bumpers and bedding, I LOVE it and will last her ages.

I think we've decided no more babies Hmm i say that now but I know in a few years months I will be broody again!

Hope everyone and babies are feeling better!

AppleCrumples · 18/02/2014 12:30

Definitely no more babies here but will still get broody babies are yummy we have no more space and can only dream of properly decorating our rented craphole.

Ivy has a newgame which involves dragging a chair around til she gets to the stairs, then using bottom step to try and sit in the chair! Think they may have to go into the kitchen behind the stairgate :)

tugs good news on the flat.

LetThereBeCupcakes · 18/02/2014 13:42

I'm desperate for more children, but terrified by the thought of more babies! I do realise the flaw with that.

DS was sent home from nursery with Colin the crocodile. Apparently I have to look after him for a week. He has a diary and everything.

AppleCrumples · 18/02/2014 16:57

cupcakes oh dear god, the class cuddly! i once lost one of those at a soft play party and had to go and have a good look for ellie the elephant much to the amusement of the other parents who didn't bloody help despite me being 5 months pg

Good luck Grin

Angielka · 18/02/2014 18:53

Glad it's not just me happy I have tried uploading a recent photo of M from different computers, using different browsers, even different photos and nothing worked... I emailed MN HQ but no luck sorting it out so far.

DH has always wanted 3 and I always said we'll see after 2, but seeing my 'baby' running around makes me miss the newborn days until I remember the year of godawful sleep deprivation really enjoying work so nothing planned straight away although the coil is pissing me off. Bleeding's supposed to stop after about six months max, at least that's what my doc said, but it's getting worse if anything. Anyone else? Have I asked you lot about this already? Suppose I can't blame baby brain anymore...

Angielka · 18/02/2014 19:09

here's a photo

happyhow · 18/02/2014 20:39

So I had a huge sigh of relief first thing this morning when the boy child dropped my phone and I discovered that he hadn't broken the screen. Then I got to 5pm and saw something funny under my phone cover. Turns out he's just smashed the back instead... Had decided not to upgrade my phone last month as I'd gotten through 2yrs without so much as a scratch on this iPhone!!! ConfusedConfusedConfused

On the plus side, he had a 3hr nap this afternoon!!! Grin

mrsbug · 18/02/2014 22:31

Dd's breathing was bad again today so I took her to the drs and she's been given an inhaler with a vaporiser. Not had much success getting her to take it yet...

CreepyCrawly · 19/02/2014 10:53

Glad you all approve! Cannot wait to get her bedroom done, she's still with us at the moment. Been doing our loft out and it should finished in the next few weeks. An actual proper house then!

I'm desperate for dc2 now, DH says once we move upstairs we can get on with ttc. I'd like 3 but DH says 2, so twins would be nice.

Work this morning, from 9 until 9:15. What a waste of diesel!

A very me me me post sorry, hope everyone's well

CreepyCrawly · 19/02/2014 10:56

Love Colin the crocodile, and the thought of apple losing hers! Love Ivy's chair game too.

Oh no about the phone happy! Will you be able to sort it? There's a few people round here (in markets usually) that can work wonders with broken phones.

Hope DDs better soon mrsbug, good luck with the inhaler.

glorious · 19/02/2014 20:21

I'm imagining Ivy and the chair now! cunning!

Sorry about the breathing problems mrsbug

angielka I've always liked the sound of three but think my chances of persuading dh are almost nill unless we get a sleeper next time

creepy how exciting!

Talking of more babies I saw on another thread that wuxiapian has had a little girl Thanks

Off to meet tugs tomorrow, wish us luck finding each other and not being mobbed by older children on half term!

mrsbug · 19/02/2014 20:30

Ooh congrats to wux! Although I don't think I could handle another baby just yet. I think we'll aim to have another when dd is three, partly so we get some free childcare.

I only want two, more children than adults in the house sounds like a lot of hard work.

AppleCrumples · 19/02/2014 21:12

It is mrsbug it is

Hope dd is better soon and all going well with inhalor.

Congrats to wux

happy hope phone is fixable.

glorious yes cunning is a good word for her. T'is funny watching her dragging it around.

Have fun meeting tugs Envy

We're off to soft play tomorrow, half term so early start or there won't be anywhere to park!

Lora1982 · 19/02/2014 21:55

Ugh mid sleep pukey complete change. Its always teeth mum says it cant just be poorlyness its always sodding teeth according to her the vix thing was rubbish last time but im desperate for a cough free night so I'll try yet again.

Whats wrong with her breathing mrsbugs?

Good luck to wux I couldnt handle another baby just yet!!!

mrsbug · 19/02/2014 22:29

lora she gets wheezy whenever she gets a cold; it might be asthma (I'm asthmatic) but too early to say. Not sure if the inhaler is doing anything or not, it's a bugger trying to get her to inhale any of it so I'm not really sure if she's getting enough to have an effect.

Dd has some cough medicine (tixylix) which seems to help when she has a cough.

apple good luck at soft play tomorrow

lollipoppi · 20/02/2014 08:18

Mrsbugs hope your dd is ok
And yours too lora!

Apple your very brave going to the play centre at half term!!

Glorious and tugs have a lovely day today Envy

Yay for wux that seems to have gone so fast since she told us she was pregnant!

DD is miserable with her teeth, no sick here but she has had a very unsettled night, no baby splash today.

Birdies · 20/02/2014 08:34

Cute photos angiel and happy!

Hope the poorly babies feel better soon.

Have fun glorious and tugs!

Anyone with a baby who sleeps well and is only down to one nap - do you mind telling me your routine again? X is sleeping through but dropped from 12 to 10 hours and naps are all over the place. I can't remember what nap time she should have now in the day.

Also does anyone's baby just seem to need less sleep? X seems to only need 12 hours in 24 but the books all say it should be 14.

I think I want a 3rd baby as well now but going to wait a couple more years this time.
