Oh know eliza I hope everything is ok.

BigPigLittlePig · 11/01/2014 22:25

Apple is there a reason you cannot go to iran? You may have said and I missed or forgot, so sorry if you're having to repeat yourself.

Sophia Grin - so chuffed for you my lovely.

Eliza I hope E is ok. No doubt she'll make you feel a fraud come tomorrow, but I hope doctors goes well.

On the subject of docs. I popped in the other day as f hasn't had her appt card come through dor her mmr. I cancelled December as she was poorly. Anyway, they said not to worry, just turn up on the day and they'll do it. Only problem is, the day is a day I cannot have off work, neither can dh. They will not do jabs any other time as needs 2 nurses. This is going to be a prob until at least april when my rota changes. Does the quiche collective think this matters v much?

FatimaLovesBread · 11/01/2014 22:31

Why do they need two nurses to do the jabs?

BigPigLittlePig · 11/01/2014 22:37

Tpo check the batch numbers or some such bollocks thing Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 11/01/2014 22:39

fatima was wondering that. I held my babies down while paed jabbed them.

soph fab news.

PetiteRaleuse · 11/01/2014 23:12

Batch numbers?

Your system is weird.

YellowWellies · 12/01/2014 00:12

Must be a local system PR I had to hold j down while one nursed jagged. Sounds like some old communist job creation scheme!

flouncymcflouncerson · 12/01/2014 00:37

vq I know I said I was if finished my family and I do want to be. It the whole womb removing thing is very final. Leaving ovaries doesn't work for long so HRT would be needed at some point in the near future. It's shit, just really and truly shit. I don't know how I'm going to cope back at work with things the way they are yet I can't stay off sick til next surgery as it'll need to be June as I have a holiday booked end of May. Totally and completely and utterly shit. And my work already hate me!!

We are currently watching the 7.39 so have seen first one and waiting on DH settling J before the next.

I'm in a good mood today as I switched from sky to Virgin and will he saving £522 in 12 months and getting £160 cash back. Score!

Also did a shop at Aldi and like a sad sack did a fake asda online one and I've saved £16+ all good!

Em...haven't done a video yet but I've loved everyone else's.

Haggisers.....anyone planning a meet anytime soon?? I miss you all!!

cacacaz haven't seen you on the thread for a while.....are you still here??

GTbaby · 12/01/2014 00:57

BP apples dp can't go to Iran as he will have to do his national service.

GTbaby · 12/01/2014 01:17

Not quite caught up.

Saw some red wellies in marks. But going to wait until H is walking properly

He is also in baby grows. Out grown 12-18. But too short for nxt size so he is in PJs ATM. Prob is he ends up in his bed clothes for most the day! If we were better at the day /night clothes thing, long baby grows wouldnt matter.

Apple I agree with zamboni. Maybe they feel u comfortable with you paying? So mk excuses.

Chick I got HDcartoon. Is it wrong one? Not had a proper look. seen a few comic based movies tho.

GTbaby · 12/01/2014 01:17

Didn't realise the time. Need to sleep. With catch up more tomorrow

flouncymcflouncerson · 12/01/2014 02:03

J is a pest. I want a sleeping child. One that sleeps through the Nite preferably!

Lily311 · 12/01/2014 04:53

No baby grows here, she hates dressing and undressing. She has 3 pairs of pjs and she wears the same 2 or 3 nights in a row.

Lily311 · 12/01/2014 05:30

Oh, my sister gave O a bath toy her kids have outgrown. O got shit scared of it. I'm not joking, must put pic up on Facebook.

Every injection should be checked by another nurse before giving, and batch numbers are documented in case there is a problem. It is all about safety. Especially important with little people. BP could you drop in the fact you are of a medical persuasion and willing to check? Sometimes the check is done outside the room, but with jags as the baby cannot confirm name and address, and sometimes parent or carer cannot cope with holding the child, plus the sheer volume, it is sensible to have two in the room all the time.

Flouncy your work do not hate you. They will be frustrated by having to manage without you, but they do not hate you. You are just too lovely to hate x I need to get my interview out of the way before I can come to a quiche meet. It is on 21st. I am off week beginning 10th Feb for half term, but I know it differs in areas. When is half term for you Pass?

Evilwater · 12/01/2014 07:12

The same here for the jabs or any other medication, again for safety. As there have been problems, but it's all done in the treatment room. Then taken to the patient.

Lily311 · 12/01/2014 07:16

vq how was the transition to the awesome bed?

Pikz · 12/01/2014 07:31

Lily I wondered the same! How is the bed?

Flouncey I wish I could make j sleep

Sophia what awesome news Grin

Apple I am very sorry, sounds like other reasons they just won't say

I am struggling to organise my wedding. I just can't make decisions!

Sophiathestormfairy · 12/01/2014 07:38

They use two nurses here so they can jab from both sides at Onde.

1

2

3

JAB

Sophiathestormfairy · 12/01/2014 07:39

Once.

ValiumQueen · 12/01/2014 07:41

Pikz start a thingybob on FB then we can all help. I love weddings Smile

The bed... Well, it is up, in his room, and his room is cleared of everything except the cot and his wardrobe. We have a gate on the door, but need to find one of those things to stop trapped fingers. We have a radiator cover in place and the curtains are safe from dangly bits. We have the foam side bits for on the mattress, complete with bite marks from when DD2 pulled them out and tried to demolish them. The bedding needs washing, and then it can be used. At the moment we are just letting him get used to it being there. The plan is to put him in the cot for naps and first part of night, then into bed if he wakes, with cuddle support to sleep, then retreat. That is the plan. Last night he woke at around 10 having been sick in the cot with coughing (second night in a row, just a small bit) and spent the entire night in with us, waking at 5am.

ValiumQueen · 12/01/2014 07:43

Jabbing both legs at once? Trauma!!!

Sophiathestormfairy · 12/01/2014 09:05

Tell me about it. Worse with Ds1 as he was so aware and he actually bruised really badly and the nurse really looked like this Shock and said she had 't seen one bruise like that before.

He is still talking about it

BigPigLittlePig · 12/01/2014 09:23

Sad sophia. Poor dude.

VQ fc for big bed success.

off for walk along nearest beach with the gang, leaving the cat behind to hunt mice.
