Cant help Fatima as don't know that part of the world very well, but come to Somerset and you can meet BP and meeeeeee!

StuntNun · 10/01/2014 16:43

DS1 had a good birthday morning. He didn't open all his presents because he wanted to wait for DH to get back from Switzerland. DH got back okay but I am at the school waiting for DS1 to get back from the school pantomime trip - they are currently half an hour late. Angry So he won't get to open his presents because his party is booked for 5:30 so we'll have to rush home, get him changed then rush off to his party. He'll have to open them at bedtime instead I suppose.

Enjoy the panto

Sophiathestormfairy · 10/01/2014 16:46

Sorry party. Wtf. Where is my head!

Sophiathestormfairy · 10/01/2014 19:25

Where is everyone? Busy off making videos?

ChasingDaisy · 10/01/2014 19:34

Here! Watching Corrie and scoffing mini eggs after a shocker of a day. Wish I had Wine Am off to stay with the fella this weekend, so the thought of that is keeping me cheery

Sophiathestormfairy · 10/01/2014 19:34

There must be something wrong with my mumsnet.

Sophiathestormfairy · 10/01/2014 19:37

Have a brilliant time! chasing Grin

I have had horrendous headaches and nausea which seem to be the new post O and Post sterilisation out characteristics. Homeopath in two weeks hopefully will sort it out. Despite the Unshiftable headache great time at the new toddlers, even might have made a friend and lovely lunch with the boys, happy day.

Sophiathestormfairy · 10/01/2014 19:37

Pmt characteristics

ChasingDaisy · 10/01/2014 19:39

I have new PMT symptoms since O as well Sophia. Well, since my O, not since your O Grin Nausea is actually one of them. And cramps, which I never suffered from before.

Sophiathestormfairy · 10/01/2014 19:40
Grin
applepieinthesky · 10/01/2014 20:10

My periods are a lot lighter since C. They used to be horrendously heavy before.

Turkey to see the ILs in the summer is back on Grin Seems I misread the visa rules (doh!) DP needs one year left on his passport on entry so as long as we go before the 24th of June it should be fine. I'm so happy they will get to meet C while he is still small.

They have had a shitty time lately so this will give them something to look forward to. We aren't going to say anything until we have the cash ready to book their flights though.

Passmethecrisps · 10/01/2014 20:27

Hallo!!!

Fucking Friday!! Woot!!

Okay. lily I have horrifically cracked heels and the only thing which works is scholl intense cracked heel cream. Twice a day and bosh!

yw the warranty means nothing. The sale of goods act is your pal here. If tesco don't play ball then remind them of the sale of goods act 1979 (since amended) which states that the contract is between the retailer and the consumer and lasts 5 years.

flouncy your innards sound in a terrible state and I am sorry that you have to be thinking about more surgery. I do get the reasoning of not taking action then and there but, blimey, what a Thought.

J sure does poo a lot pp. You can practically set your watch by P - stands very still and gets a red face with watery eyes round about 9am. Anyway, I often think how crap (no pun intended) it must be to have your sleep interrupted by poo for both of you. Teething must be like the icing on the jobby cake.

Passmethecrisps · 10/01/2014 20:29

Oh aye. Pmt.

Used to be non-existent.

Had p.

Gradually became absolutely horrific until doc reckoned I now formally have PMS.

On pill now and I would reckon 99% back to non-existent. Thank fuck.

I sometimes get a headache and a bit of backache. I can handle that. What I wouldn't handle was 3 days of feeling like I could deliberately crash my car.

ValiumQueen · 10/01/2014 20:36

I completely understand the surgeon not doing a hysterectomy there and then. Especially in one so young. If it were an old bag like me they would still be hesitant. A womb can be very much a part of a woman's identity, femininity, and can have a significant impact on their mental health if removed. I say can be. Some of us couldn't give a toss and would see it as an ideal way to lose a bit more weight. Hormonal stuff can be unaffected as the ovaries can be left in situ, but even so, some women are badly affected emotionally. Also I know you feel your family is complete Flouncy, but sometimes time and circumstances can change the mind of even the most resolute woman.

I am wearing a pink leopard print onesie. It looks like I am wearing body paint Blush but DH is loving it Grin

StormyIsles · 10/01/2014 20:57

Matilda ate sudocrem tonight...

Zamboni · 10/01/2014 21:09

Kyz · 10/01/2014 21:17

Hi quiche :) Another challenging day today, have had an awful headache and E has been quite demanding, I think his teeth are still bothering him, luckily with the help of calpol he has been eating okay he just has had such a temper on him and been quite mardy when usually he is pretty laid back. I've managed ok not eating any crap, but I really want some, i'm terrible in the evenings.

Yay for a housephone evil :) glad you had a good day yesterday

I do sympathise sophia family politics are so very tiring, they give me a royal headache!

You sound very busy with work things vq! Sounds like it's all going ok though?

Gosh flouncy ten teeth is alot of teeth! E had 2 up till 21st Dec and now has 5 that are definitely through. Sorry about the surgery problems :( I hope everything gets sorted, it's a shame they didn't just sort it all at once but then like vq said, I guess they'd need permission?

Happy birthday to ds1 stunt glad he had a good morning, hope the rest of the day is good too :)

Should be able to get a new one yw I would Blush

aw bplp hope you manage to sort it!

Really pleased the music class went well pp!

Lily311 · 10/01/2014 21:19

Same as apple and zamboni, my periods are a breeze now compare to pre O. But I get very very spotty before them, ffs I'm 34.

Thank you for the offer yw but my brother is flying home on fri and he will pick up some Vaseline for me. I found some expired sanctuary feet cream in my bathroom today and my heels are grateful.

Went to theatre with my sister and O stayed with a babysitter. She slept through it, phew.

MsJupiterJones · 10/01/2014 21:39

Evening all.

Kyz sorry you are having such a hard time at the moment.
