I am an unhealthy 8st 5ish and 5ft 7. I would not wear a bikini in public as you can count my ribs from a distance. I have no boobs. Rampaging morning sickness meant I had lost weighr by my booking in appt, and other tthan bump and boobs did not gain in pg. Then dairyfree bf put paid to my plans to gain whilston mat leave. I will get to 10st one day.

Passmethecrisps · 08/01/2014 21:58

5ft 2 is an awesome height!!

I actually think that number of calories would be hard to put away bp. It would be fun in the short term though.

Passmethecrisps · 08/01/2014 22:00

I used MFP for a while and liked it. I don't need to lose or gain but need to eat better. My skin looks awful.

fruitpastilles · 08/01/2014 22:01

Isn't it mad how we are all wanting to be the same but are coming from such different directions.
I looked the healthiest I have been in ages after having S, I lost 2 stone during pregnancy, also because of terrible sickness throughout and I just totally went off fatty foods and I was eating healthily for the sake of S. If only I could have kept it off!

BigPigLittlePig · 08/01/2014 22:01

You'll be hooked fruit, it's such an eye opener.

PR it is sad that dd1 is angry, but I did laugh a little at the idea of her slammi her hand down. Whenever little people copy grownup actions it is a little comical.

I can hear the bathroom tap dripping, should go and turn it off but cannot be bothered to move. Gah.

TheDetective · 08/01/2014 22:01

Actually. I'm a 15. 16 is big - annoyingly so.

14 is snug - annoyingly so. 6lb more and it should be comfortable.

GRR!

BigPigLittlePig · 08/01/2014 22:02

Haha I looked good coz of all the fluid retention. Apart from the cankles. They were a little ugly.

horseylady · 08/01/2014 22:14

5'8 size 10. Not sure what I weigh? Around 60kg.

MFP great. Encourages exercise and makes you realise what you consume.

StuntNun · 08/01/2014 22:24

Loving the diet chat. I'm 5 ft 6 and 9 st 10 lb so hoping to lose 8 lb to see whether it makes a dent in the old c-section 'shelf'. It probably won't. Weight loss may be complicated by the fact that the GP suspects I might have an underactive thyroid but my blood test results should be back Friday or Monday which will give a better idea. I'm a bit Hmm because I saw the GP a year ago hoping to get thyroid tests done but they blithely assumed everything was okay until my smear results came back dodgy. I suppose that puts me into a target for the practice to achieve rather than just an ill person who might need a rather cheap blood test and perhaps a prescription. I hate GPs, we've just had so many problems that they're either unwilling or unable to deal with. Don't even get me started on DS1's sinus infection being misdiagnosed as hayfever or the indifferent dismissal of bacterial vaginosis when I was pregnant with DS2.

Must get to bed, J was a horror last night and DH ended up shouting at him when he wouldn't stay asleep. Apparently I'm making a rod for my own back by comforting J in the night when he's hysterical. Hmm Well maybe he wouldn't be hysterical if he wasn't getting randomly sworn at and told off for crying at night.

I'm 5'6" and just under 10.5 stone. My ideal (for no reason other than the psychology of single digits) would be to lose another half stone and be 9 stone 13 and 9\10ths Grin Grin Grin Grin I'm a comfy size 10/11 but I like to be a baggy 10 but I'm not sure it's realistic or desirable in my mid 30s as I don't want to look drawn in the face.

I've lost 4 stone since having J due to dairy free and being ill for most of the last month. All of my jeans are, yet again, too big and make me feel a baggy frump. Yet somehow I have a squidgy belly and massively wide hips compared to my pre preggers body. I'm about 1\2 stone above my marriage weight and 1\2 stone below booking in weight.

It's amazing how the female body keeps changing. I don't know whether to bother losing the last half stone as a) I like my body ATM and b) I wanna get updiffed this summer? I'm not in a bad place body image wise.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 08/01/2014 23:14

I'm in need of a foot up my ample bottom, if anyone wants to be my friend on MFP I'd be grateful Blush

I'm 5ft exactly and weight 11.6st Blush although bizarrely still fit nicely into a size 12??

My boobs are sad looking and have shrunk, it's all gone to my belly and thighs. I'm still hourglass shaped as always but with a huge, flabby tum. (That will be the selection boxes I was mainlining over Christmas then)

I'd like to lose at least a stone by the end of the year, so a very achievable goal. I'm stuffed for any fitness stuff though, my hips didn't really recover fully from having J.

MsJupiterJones · 08/01/2014 23:21

Well it sounds like I am winning the arse-off here but I'm not going to tell you by how much. Suffice to say I would like to lose 4-5 stone.

What I really need to do is quit sugar and focus on being healthy. I'm in the unhealthy cycle at the mo but inspired by you lot to push harder on the brakes and start pedalling backwards.

I paid a rare visit to Style & Beauty yesterday & read a thread about Princessing, sounded hideous but actually just about taking care of yourself, being a bit more groomed. I think I need to follow some of the tips as it's easy just to feel like it doesn't matter. I may start by wearing some makeup to work tomorrow mostly concealer to cover the humongous spot on my chin Smile

GTbaby · 08/01/2014 23:25

14.12 now. Was 15.3 a few weeks after having A!

I'm calorie counting on MFP. If any one wants to be friends on there my user name is my first name.
But you can't add ppl in the app. Only on the web site.
I'm adding extra calories due to bf so actually am eating quite a bit. But as long as I'm loosing I don't mind if its only a tiny bit each week. But I want to go back to work slimmer.

fruitpastilles · 08/01/2014 23:28

My username is fruitpastilles85 but I have no clue on how to actually use the thing yet. I'll have a better idea tomorrow when I start using it.

TheDetective · 08/01/2014 23:33

JJ I had 6.5 stone to lose. :)

I'm TheDetective. Although I haven't used it since July. I found I now know the calorie value of most things I regularly eat and know day to day if I'm on track. It was good to get going though!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 08/01/2014 23:35

I'm charlee1003

I had lost 12lbs but after checking in and updating just now it seems I've gained it all back over Christmas.

It does work, I find it frustrating though, DP has a bit to lose and he loses a lb or 2 and you can see it straight away, his face gets more definition, I can lose a stone and look no different Hmm

GTbaby · 08/01/2014 23:49

FH has just come home drunk Sad

Ok back to weight loss. Ideally I want to be in the 11 stone mark. As I think I'll be a 14/16 then. Not slim exactly. But slim for me iykwim.

BigPigLittlePig · 09/01/2014 00:03

Hello midnight poo. You are not welcome here. Please don't call again.

I don't know what my username is....shall have to check.

I do think I tend to feel better if I have groomed myself alittle. After years of biting my nails, I now have not bad nails, but polish only lasts a dsy before its peeling off. Shame. I need a haircut too.

Now sleep little baby.

Lily311 · 09/01/2014 04:18

I need to lose a stone. At least. I actually cut out this week diet coke and chocolate and am doing 20 min of DVD. I have horrendous backache so can't do more. I hate my boobs and hips, the rest I can live with. My boobs never returned to pre pregnancy size and I think that's why I have the backache. I fit into my size 12 clothes but they are snug. I'm lily311 on mfp.

I feel I can't keep up with this thread. I have an assignment due nice again and o is so clingy.

Oh, I have health insurance in Hungary sorted. Not O though but at least I have.

sophia I want you to organize a quiche meet at yours. You can cook ;). I'll def come.

ChasingDaisy · 09/01/2014 05:23

Interesting weight chat. I am joining pig in trying to gain weight. I am an extremely unhealthy 5'5" and 7 stone. I know that I need to eat much more than I do currently in order to gain weight. I used to be an obsessive calorie counter and I reckon I'm only confusing 1500 a day at the moment. That, plus the fact that I rarely stop during the day means that I've currently got no chance of gaining. Am hoping that as life becomes more settled I will start to hold onto a bit more weight.

Pikz · 09/01/2014 06:54

I am 5ft 4 and 11 stone. I have always been heavy for my dress size it I am a 11 at the mo. Like YW I would like to be a baggy 10.

I have about 8 weeks to loose it as my wedding dress will need fitting then. Eek. 30 day shred here I come.

Sophiathestormfairy · 09/01/2014 07:17

jj sorry about your life money worries and loosing sleep over it. I hope you devise some practical solutions and can plan a hw out of whatever over the coming year. Bug hugs. Cow crumble is a beef stew with a topping made out of grated parsnip and potato then with a bit of shin bone (cow) stuck in to let the air out while it cooks.

I have swapped from the MFP to nutracheck this year, still a free app, does the same stuff but a bit simpler I think. I have lost 2 of my Christmas 5 lbs but it would be good if I could loose another 5lbs after that and get to about 10 stone. I am 5"8 and a comfy size 12 with a mummy wibbly tummy. I think I might have sourced the perfect jeans for my tummy, Next high waist shape enhancing jeans are great but they keep changing them around every season which is irritating. I think they still do the same thing but call them some thing different and it takes ages to work out which ones they are.

Sophiathestormfairy · 09/01/2014 07:21

Ok, perhaps I will change back to MFP and get some friends!

Doing food dairying works really well for me.

although on nutracheck they allow to o add sex as a calorie burning exercise!

YellowWellies · 09/01/2014 07:28

Sophia I love Nexts high waisted jeans though could never notice any difference between the normal £26 and the figure enhancing £45 ones (just tougher denim?). I need to get some in a 10 as the 12s are baggy and not flattering now. I rate fitbug for food diarying and a pedometer app. Really motivating. We had another sleep through. Thank you Granny's magic sleepy dust house!!!!!

Sophiathestormfairy · 09/01/2014 07:36

That' singe resting yw because I got some black ones just before Christmas @£45 advertised as figure enhancing (two buttons on waistband) and they have them now @£26 or whatever but not advertised as shape enhancing. Do we suspect they actually maybe the same jeans? As I need a blue pair.
