chasing oh no. Hugs. And you know my point of view, I know I can be content without a man but happy and truly be myself? No. I function so much better when in a loving relationship. Sorry, not helping much, am I?

Very jealous of the ttc and 2ww ladies. It took us 2.5 years to conceive O and my biggest fear is not finding a man and not being able to give a sibling to O. I'll be 35 in 2014.

pr oh dear! does that mean she sleeps all day?

Pr i wish you would've shot the same thing back at her... Sounds like a witch.

I'm so sorry for those that are dealing with IL stress. This trip for me has been pretty good, mostly because MIL has been watching L so we can get some time away. We were gone to lunch and shopping for 6 hours today. Longest I have been away from her. Ties

Lydiejo · 29/12/2013 05:53

Oops sent too soon. Summer is feeling forever away . That 's when i will probably get the IUD removed. I can't wait to be pregnant again.

ValiumQueen · 29/12/2013 06:07

Lily I did not have DD1 until I was 37. I had J when I was 43. You have time.

Chasing you have even more time. Trust me, the right one will be worth the wait. Please do not settle for second best.

J woke at 4. After waking hourly. I am shattered.

PR that sounds like a nightmare. Big hug x

Lily311 · 29/12/2013 07:34

vq i know I have time. But I'm nowhere near ready finding someone and due to previous ttc history (1mc than ttc for 2years than 1more mc and 5 months later conceived O) I'm worried. I am one of 4 and really want to have at least one more sibling for O.

Evilwater · 29/12/2013 07:49

Hello all for the new year
For N:
-I'd like a him to go swimming
- stop using bottles at night
- use a spoon or fork when eating
- eat more veg.

For mummy:

  • get the money from ex house and get a place of our own. As the the house here is lovely but the landlady is a bit crazy to say the least.
  • lose weight.
  • be happy.

For all those considering brothers and sister, I envy you as now N can't have any. Last night I was upset as n won't have a father figure growing up, and how my dream of a happy family as died.

PetiteRaleuse · 29/12/2013 08:12

The new Bridget Jones book is £1.99 on kindle today.
I have been awake since my last post. Am still in bed though. Going to stay in bed until the girls miss me and come and get me.

PetiteRaleuse · 29/12/2013 08:14

Oh just read the thread. That sounded insensitive. Sorry.

Lily311 · 29/12/2013 08:18

It didn't sound insensitive. At least not to me.

ChasingDaisy · 29/12/2013 08:19

Or me

Evilwater · 29/12/2013 08:23

Hugs for lilyevil and chasing you know though that love will sneak up on you when you least expect it my loves. I know it doesn't feel like it but you do have time on your side. I met DH when I was 35 and had the boys at 37 and 39

Thinking of you pr it must be so claustrophobic having them in your home. Last night sounds like a bit of a marathon you must be exhausted. Xx

I have put my usual 5 lbs on over .christmas and I still have my chocolate orange to eat. That is to ignite job. I am going to snuggle up and watch Miss Marple (my friends car has a starring role in it) and eat the whole thing. By myself.

Then operation lose 5lbs begins!

Operation decoration down is today's task cafe for lunch and take
DS 1 down the promenade on his new bike.

I will just heave myself around.

Passmethecrisps · 29/12/2013 09:29

Morning.

This could be a long day. I feel really rough and p seems to have ingested speed overnight as she is into everything. I am starting to worry about naughty behaviour - she pays no head whatsoever to the word no and spends much of her time just running from thing to thing throwing it around. She won't settle to anything for more than a minute.

She needs to burn off some energy but she still has the remnants of her cough and cold and I don't know if it is fair to take her out.

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 29/12/2013 09:57

pass don't worry! most babies wouldn't respond to no! none of mine have. Just keep lifting them away and saying no or distract. Then start discipline in earnest at about 18 months with the good old step technique, they will all have naughty stages and good stages. Up is all part of growing up. Most important thing is to keep disciplining, keep loving and don't give up.

*with the disclaimer that though my children are not the perfect angel children you might see sometimes they are good, polite, well rounded kids with their own minds and personalities.

Misslaughalot · 29/12/2013 10:33

((Hugs)) to Chasing Lily and Evil

I was single for a VEEEEERRRRYYYY long time before I met DP when I was 31 (I wasn't planning on going out the night we met, I'd been in a smash on the M6 the day before and a very kind friend dragged me out to stop me sitting at home replaying it over and over, and then hey-presto, there he was!) I was 36 when we had O and will be at least 38 if we are lucky enough to have baby no 2.

We know we want no 2 soon, but haven't actively started trying, we just aren't actively preventing it iykwim. After getting reacquainted a few times over Christmas I did the maths a couple of days ago (when offered some Brie!) and was pleasantly surprised to know that the 2ww is upon us. So we will see...

Currently though my body seems to be falling apart. I pulled a muscle in my right boob a couple of days ago (didn't even know that was a thing) and it is painful to breathe in or pick anything up with my right hand. Then I wake up this morning and my right eyelid is swelling up! Could this be a bit of conjunctivitis which O had last week? DP has taken her this morning so I can get some more sleep but that doesn't seem to be happening so will get up and have a hot shower to try and relieve my symptoms.

PR sounds like a nightmare but you seem to be dealing with it all with good humour.

VQ your night sounds like ours, hope you get the chance to rest today?

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 29/12/2013 10:39

miss I did that a couple of months ago! I thought boobs were just fatty tissue, anyway then I wondered if the muscle sat behind the boob. Is indeed a v sore thing to do.
