fruitpastilles · 05/01/2014 16:53

Ha vq I wanted to ask that but thought you lot would all know and I'd feel silly. Glad I'm not alone in wondering.

ChasingDaisy · 05/01/2014 16:54

Have you ever watched Big Bang Theory? It's what Sheldon does Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 05/01/2014 16:57

ChasingDaisy · 05/01/2014 17:06

He is a huge, lovely geek Smile I love how he talks about stuff he is passionate about. He cares greatly about people and the world we live in. And he is more than sufficiently endowed Wink

fruitpastilles · 05/01/2014 17:07

I was thinking the same and if he's a good shag

Zamboni · 05/01/2014 17:07

Haha fruit I was about to say that to VQ too.

Sounds lovely chasing. I love a geeky man. Appeals to my inner geek.

Sophiathestormfairy · 05/01/2014 17:26

Geeks are the way to go chasing. Grin I have a geek. Did you meet him on the website? Is he the one who has a child too? Is he the one that bought the jumper? Questions questions?

Passmethecrisps · 05/01/2014 17:29

Geeks are the way to go ime. Grin

Got on yah [chasing]

Made p fish fingers for tea but I made hem last night and had to cook them then freeze them as the fish needed using. She seems torn between thinking they are delicious and them choking her!

ChasingDaisy · 05/01/2014 17:36

I love a geek. He also loves Sherlock and Harry Potter. We did indeed meet on a dating site. He is a different guy - not the jumper giving one. He has no children but is not at all bothered by me having one. He has told his family about me and they think it is great that I have a kid.

Lily311 · 05/01/2014 17:42

Inspired by chasing, tell me how you met your OH. I'm not at all nosy.

Lily311 · 05/01/2014 17:42

Also would love a geek. Not too tall though.

ditsygal · 05/01/2014 17:48

Wit woo Chasing! Sounds like a fun weekend!

Zamboni · 05/01/2014 17:50

I've mentioned this before but DH was my first shag proper boyfriend when I was 15 and he was 17. We dated for a while, stayed friends. Lives took different paths, stayed in touch via FB and mutual friends. He split up with DSD's mum, I was single and had had a bit of a barren spell. Thought I'd have a fling with a nice, safe but unsuitable ex-boyfriend which wouldn't add to numbers. 18 months later we got married Grin

ChasingDaisy · 05/01/2014 17:54

Oh, and we will only really be able to see each other at weekends, which suite me very well. Week days are about me and my boy and I get my evenings to have me time. I'm very determined that I won't lose myself to a man again. I will still be me.

Passmethecrisps · 05/01/2014 17:55

DH and I met at uni. Were good pals for the 4 years but were both too shy to make a move. He moved to London and 6 months later at Christmas time I texted him to wish him merry Christmas. He invited me down to stay and I angsted about the appropriate night wear for such a scenario. The answer was none. My best woman told this exact story at out wedding Blush

We were a couple 12 years and now married almost 2.

fruitpastilles · 05/01/2014 17:55

Aww zamboni that's really sweet!

Mine is vvv boring, I worked as a barmaid in the local social club I was brought up in and met dp there. He is 16 years older than I am and I wasn't sure how my mum and dad would take it, been as they knew him and are only 5/6 years older than him so we kept it a secret for a year. It was much more fun then haha.
Also, when I was a baby we lived opposite his house and my mum told me I used to wave frantically at his late dad each morning when he went to get the paper.
