Yep. Normally I refuse to buy things like that for F as I don't like to medicate her myself, but prefer to chat things over with someone who has, erm, perspective. And is not biased. Or swamped with maternal love. But it is good to know the option is there for disasters/to tide you over the Christmas period.

Also all the specialist formulas can be bought (at great expense) if ever you run out away from home.

horseylady · 23/12/2013 21:55

Oh he's on cows milk. He's not intolerant. He just voms!!

How do you all go about counting teeth? F won't let me near her mouth, haven't managed to do teeth for 2 or 3 days Confused, and she shrieks when I try. Surely surely surely there must be more teeth now than there were????

horseylady · 23/12/2013 22:13

We don't. Unless we make him laugh and try to look

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 22:14

Ok she loves tomatoes. My frozen soups have some in. But they're not tomato soups. Ugh. Fucking shops closing. It's xmas eve tomorrow right? Bollocks. Paed told me not to take them out as cox disease bad for upduffed wimmen.

GTbaby · 23/12/2013 22:23

Argh. We still have one gift to by for niece. Toys r us is open tomorrow and have reserved the item. Dh was meant to pick it up weeks ago. A lil cross.

GTbaby · 23/12/2013 22:24

To buy Blush

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 22:39

I count teeth in hysterical mouth wide open moments. Unfortunately, atm, they are all too frequent :(

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 22:42

And LO is at the point where you give her the toothbrush and she runs off with it. Danger! Why have I birthed two children who have no sense of danger?

Kyz · 23/12/2013 22:49

Sorry to hear of illness :( pr that is beyond unfair and horsey hope e keeps something down tomorrow. Hope they're all better soon!

Another quick post :( been up since 5 and only just in bed now. Dp at work then 3 nights off. E has tooth number 3!!! Finally!

I'm going to really struggle to keep up to date over Xmas

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 23:00

My xmas tree has died and flopped. This is way beyond a joke.

GTbaby · 24/12/2013 00:18

Pr I count teeth the same way. He was wailing when I put him in his high chair.
Weird as he screams when I put him in. Then shuts up after I put his job on.

Just seen your tree on FB, could fresh water spruce it up?

I'm shoving water in its pot every day. It is dry in this house though, maybe I will set the humidifier on it for a night.

My girls slept through apart from one delirious episode from DD1 which happened before I fell asleep.

DH and I had a row last night which considering my dislike of people drinking too much and his inability to cope with illness isn't surprising. I'm a massive bore at xmas. Everyone likes to get drunk and I recoil from drunk people.

I got up during the night to turn my chopped up marinading cock over.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/12/2013 06:57

Pennie have a wonderful warm Christmas too x

Evilwater · 24/12/2013 07:02

Something horrible has happened, the standing order for my rent hasn't come out of my account. The land lady is very upset! She came to the house while my sister was bathing N. Of course my sister didn't answer and the land lady came in and thought my sis was me.
Basically I can't miss any payment of rent, else I'll be out.

I'm sorting it out with the bank tomorrow.

Evil
Sad

HoLilyChristmas311 · 24/12/2013 07:16

Evil, it happens. Happened to me too. Just try to sort it out and all will be fine.

We are off to my parents', staying till Boxing Day. I cried last night, Xmas alone really does sucks. Chasing, evil, I shall be drink for us all tonight.

Olbas oil under cot worked, she could breath overnight. Needless to say in ordering the humidifier tmrw, just waiting whether it will be on sale on amazon. She now has yellowish, greenish snot but at least it's all coming out.

Evilwater · 24/12/2013 07:24

But my sister was so upset, should I say something?
Evil

PetiteRaleuse · 24/12/2013 07:42

Your landlady shouldn't let herself into your house Evil . Is that even legal? Sort it out asap, bollock your bank, and check your rights re landlady letting herself in, rent paid or not.

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 24/12/2013 07:44

On evil now upsetting hope it all gets sorted out.

Fell asleep half way into Jane Eyre. Xmas Blush however my plan had been healthy tea! bath and early get as a lot to do today.

I daren't count teeth either.

He is a proper whinge bag this morning I am just going to ignore and make a full English/Irish Xmas Confused

PetiteRaleuse · 24/12/2013 07:44

And sort it today if you can. The banks will be closed tomorrow and Thursday. Tenants do have rights, you can't be evicted for a late payment in genuine error.

ChasingDaisy · 24/12/2013 07:45

Just popped on to say Merry Christmas to Evil and Lily. Thinking of you both x

ReindeerIsles · 24/12/2013 08:58

evil if the payment was due out yesterday then depending on who you bank with, there's a fairly high chance it won't come out until Friday due to bank holidays etc. Was it your first rent payment?

As for letting herself in this is utterly fucking stupid on her part. I don't know if you remember my issues with my ex landlord but she could actually be done for trespassing for this. Check your tenancy and English law but you are allowed a few days grace (I think 3 working days) for a payment to be late, and her first port of call should be to write to you or phone you. She shouldn't even come to the house without giving you 24hrs+ notice.

Definitely say something. Keep it light this time, a friendly apology and a promise to get it sorted. But I would also say to her that due to your do history you are very nervous of having people in your house and will not hesitate to phone the police next time. You are perfectly within your rights to do this (my landlady got done for harassment amongst other things for doing just that) Good luck, PM me if you need any more advice.

And merry Christmas all!! I am soooo excited!! and so hungover Envy

ReindeerIsles · 24/12/2013 09:01

DV history.

Also, because you have a child under 8 it could potentially take her well over a year to formally evict you, even if you don't pay your rent in all that time Smile but I didn't tell you that!

ReindeerIsles · 24/12/2013 09:02

Also also, and I will shut up now, ask for her landlord registration number. That should keep her quiet.
