Really quick post. So sorry I haven't read anything. Concert was AMAZING. Everything I hoped it would be. I haven't been so happy or laughed so much in years. Perfect celebration of the last 6 months.

But now I feel like worst mummy on earth. O tends to have a day of vomiting after a cold because of all the mucus. Today is that day and I'm not with him. Going to collect him soon though.

Today is a busy day. My brothers birthday today, he is 16. Dp's birthday on 18th so I'm cooking Mexican tomorrow night as a double celebration. Will need to buy it all first though and get some prepping done today. Just us and then my mum and siblings/immediate family is a houseful so I'll be busy! It's one of the only things I can cook that everyone prefers to have my version of, so I quite like doing it :)

I've been MIA, seem to have 1001 things to do and no time to do it so I've missed a whole thread. Come down with a cold now so I feel poo and I've got to trail around the Trafford Centre Christmas shopping tonight. DM is having M as she gets v bored when shopping.

Anyone got inspiration for cheap presents for DPs Auntie and Uncle from M. I've 4 sets of A&Us to buy for and could do with spending as little as possible. Might just end up with a box of quality streets each at this rate

Rant coming. Just bought a fucking car seat. Wanted to wait for the January sales. But my idiot sister in law decided that o needs one right now and bought a second hand one for her. I went mad. And ordered a new one. There is no way she will go into a second hand one. They only drive us within the city once a week. She still fits in the other car seat. I bought one for my parents' car 2 months ago and needed to buy one more for hers. I'm livid. Idiot woman.

Ok back stuck on sofa feeding.
But A has been asleep 1.5hour. So I got a nice lil break. Cut out felt letters for stockings. Was meant to write Xmas cards but address book is in H room. Oh dear, but no way was I risking going in to get it. So ill have to do it when he is awake.
Had a hot cup of tea and ate.
And it was As first nap in his crib! His carry cot is getting small.
Need to start putting him in a proper routine now, preferable one nap at same time as H like today.

So yesterday went shopping. Mil didn't come, think we left to early and she couldn't be bothered to get up earlier.
Boys behaved well accept H wouldn't eat his sandwhich but was happy eating my chips! He had about 10, but he fed himself so that was a positive! And had his milk. After a little whinging he fell asleep which made shopping alot nicer.

He are nicely last night. Which made me happy. Dinner has been such a struggle for a while. Put up to bed usual time. But at 9 we realised he hadn't slept! Just been playing in his cot for almost 2hour!
So nappy changed, bought him down for milk, and had some play time where I finally got H to kiss me lol and back to bed.
What a difference can be made by moving his nap just half an hour later! I'm guessing that's what it was.

Bugger bugger bugger bugger bugger. I have been meaning to place orders with a British food company in the UK and a British butcher in France to get some stuff and with being set back by illness and ill children I forgot early this week and I have missed all the deadlines. There is a British shop in Luxembourg so will have to go to that but really dislike going there on weekends (not driving there myself so will have to be the weekend) and they won't have the decent meat products I was wanting to order from the butcher. I have been planning my order for weeks, drooling over the web pages and am really REALLY angry at myself for forgetting this week. Dammitdammitdammitdammitdammit and bollocks. The stupid thing is I was reminding my mum that the last posting day to France was on Tuesday and didn't make the link. Fucksticks and wankbadgery.

And breathe.

Am waiting at the airport for dad to collect me. All churny and excited, he has just picked girls up from school!

Can I encourage everyone to look at their last payslips if returned from maternity after one year? I contacted payroll about mine and the amount went up by £600 as they did not count all the bank holidays. Nice present before Xmas.

lily i'm still waiting for HR to calculate my bank hols after the union won that particular battle for me when I came back. Annoyingly they've missed pay closedown for this month so I won't see it til the end of Jan now.
