Aww pr that's lovely to get a quich gift. Thank you to the lovely person who sent it. Very nice of u.

Today's rant. Running late for As jabs. So FH puts him in car as I grab red book. I get in car and drive off. I get to dr. To take out car seat. And he hasn't put a blanket on A. It's freezing here. So windy and rainy. He has a warm all in one body suit on. But it's not quite as think as a snow suit. Very annoyed. Had to take my jacket off to drape over car seat as a wind breaker.

GTbaby · 23/12/2013 12:34

My sis bought turkey and ham yesterday for our Xmas meal. So looking forward to Xmas lunch with MY family.

MsJupiterJones · 23/12/2013 13:31

PR what a load of cock. I hope all the illnesses are mild and short lived.

We had a small drama this morning when L choked on a piece of porridge. I thought he had burnt his tongue but he went purple, coughed it up ok but then couldn't stop retching and projectile vomited over both of us. Lovely. He was jolly cheerful afterwards, me less so.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 13:35

That must have been scary jj

YellowWellies · 23/12/2013 14:16

Crumbs JJ!!!!! Hope you're ok. They always seem to be fine and dandy after a choking incident don't they? It's us who's worse for wear.

Jonas is at nursery for the day so I can finish off freelance for the year and get the last Christmas bits sorted. It's been lovely to just spend the morning with DH and hear about his travels. Just been to the local farm shop and got our turkey and a big hunk of venison for Christmas eve. I need to go and soak that in a bottle of red now.... Also managed to pick up some of my favourite kriek - my favourite Christmas tipple given I can't have Baileys.

PR enjoy the goodies and playing with half of a big fat cock.

Isles I'm about to do the opposite from you and ditch my old iPhone and move to Android. I'm sick of being tied into iTunes etc. Before I potentially make an expensive mistake can I ask why you moved the other way? What's put you off Android?

HoLilyChristmas311 · 23/12/2013 14:19

I tried both android and iPhone. I can't care less which one I have, only using it for texting.

I have a very snotty and miserable little girl. :(

YellowWellies · 23/12/2013 14:38

Lily I'm the same I barely use my smartphone for anything smart these days - I never go online with it. But I like having maps for when I'm exploring somewhere new, I want something with GPS for tracking running and I want to have Google play so I can take much more music on the go with me. Otherwise yes I'm just looking for a texting and calling device, with a camera. My iPhone is 3 years old and dying (thanks to being sooked by a bear), it has lasted really really well but I'm considering the move because Androids are half the price and without being tied into ring fenced content. After a while iTunes really pissed me off. Plus it's as intuitive as a brick (iTunes not iPhones).

FatimaLovesBread · 23/12/2013 15:00

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! Xmas Grin

Everyone ready for Wednesday? I've been busy busy getting all the presents and wrapping etc. it's a good job I got it done early as now laid up in bed with sickness bug [vom]Xmas Sad I hate feeling rubbish!

How's the weather where you all are? V windy here

ChasingDaisy · 23/12/2013 15:17

YW I've recently switched from Android to iPhone and whilst I don't think I will go back, I did love Android. I loved HTC phones in particular.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 15:24

OMG the blisters in and round DD1's mouth are insane. They've come up today? Everything she eats seems to sting bless her.

LO has started a fever but low, and still has dirrea and is mighty pissed off about some thing.

DH has announced he is having work drinks tonight. He doesn't realise what a shitty, literally, day I am having, but he will feel the full force of my wrath when he gets back. Especially if he forgets to pick up my fruit and veg order in which I was unable to get baby carrots. Twatting supermarket

Both girls hysterical.

ChasingDaisy · 23/12/2013 15:39

Oh PR Sad WineWineWineWine

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 15:40

I just can't fucking believe Christmas is being fucked up again. It's utter shite

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 15:45

Other than buttered toast, the bread for which I forgot to order so have run out, what food doesn't sting mouth ulcers? Cheese apparently stings, as do all the compotes I have opened, tried and had to throw out. Croissants don't sting but the crumbs apparently get stuck in the sores. Ffs. My poor babies.

ReindeerIsles · 23/12/2013 15:50

Yw the bloody salesman and his bloody sales pitch about a flashy iPhone 5s Blush I am an advertiser's dreamBlushBlush It is a great phone though and I use my Samsung android tablet for most 'smart' things

pr I don't know what to say Wine.

YellowWellies · 23/12/2013 16:10

Isles getting a tablet too is awesome though, if I can get a similar deal I might give the tablet to my sister I think. iPhones are beautiful just from a pure design perspective - they feel just right but are just a bit too pricey for me to justify at the moment. However I didn't want to swap everything over to Android if everyone is abandoning Android for some reason I'm oblivious to! But pennies dictate Android for me as I've a lot of decorating and house stuff I need to do this year.

Ok embarrassing story of the day. DH and I were just upstairs getting ahem, 'reacquainted' whilst the bear is in nursery when DBIL popped over to drop off the Christmas veg as we've got more fridge space than they do. Only he didn't warn us he was going to do this. We thought we heard a knock on the door. So DH opened up the skylight to look outside and see if someone was at the door, he saw DBIL and went 'shit' really loudly. I'm sure DBIL heard!!!! Blush Half the shopping bags were inside by the time DH made it down the stairs pulling his trousers and socks on. Grin Oh we're shameless.

PR of anyone on here you deserve an illness free Christmas. I really really hope it's just a 24-48 hour thing and that the girls are bouncy and crazy and driving you mad on Christmas day (in a good way). Fingers crossed my love.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 16:28

Xmas Grin @ yw caught in the act almost.

Passmethecrisps · 23/12/2013 17:09

Survived journey to in laws. Horrid weather. Nice to be here but cripes grannies love feeding babies! 20 minutes ago granny was trying to feed p mince pies and millionaire's shortbread! I had to say no.

I would be asking DH to cut his night out short in your position pr. You need some support. Poor wee souls sound in a terrible state.

Lol @ bein caught in the act yw! That's what they get for turning up unannounced.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 17:30

He's on his way home, wrath averted.

StuntNun · 23/12/2013 17:49

Hello peeps I'm at the airport waiting for my flight home and not hoping it will be cancelled oh no not me. FIL has backtracked on the Christmas steak order so fingers crossed Christmas will now be okay. Will update later.

Safe flight home stunt and good luck x

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 18:16

Is piggy around? I have questions about herpangina and hand fiot and mouth as, iirc, she and F had fun with it a couple of months ago.

Zamboni · 23/12/2013 18:23

PR my DD had herpangina recently. Hope yours is better v soon. Off to catch up on the fred!

Zamboni · 23/12/2013 18:25

Me I meant, not DD.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 18:27

Oh was it you? What foods could you eat? DD1 is starving but not much is helping. Lots of milk but she really wants to eat.

Elizadoesdolittle · 23/12/2013 18:30

I've moved from iPhone to android. I had my iPhone 4 for ages but needed a new one. I buy DH buys my phones outright and just couldn't justify the cost. plus he absolutely hates apple and the way they tie you into things. wasn't sure about android at first but now I absolutely love my phone (samsung galaxy s4) and won't go back to an iPhone.
