YW that was the response we got when we vaguely tried sleep methods in the past.

This time has been a different kettle of fish. Much to my massive surprise.

Although tonight has now been called off - if he wakes again.

It's got all the hallmarks of a fucking bastarding cunting wanking tooth. Hmm. Multiple wake ups every 20-30 minutes, refused tea, refused spoon feeding, refused bottle at bed pretty much after 1oz, runny nose. We've had one tooth without the above, the rest have appeared the morning after the shittiest nights wake up wise.

So CC off the agenda tonight I supposssssssssssse.

Eliza it's really obvious who has bought what. And we always end up guessing/confessing. Which is why on FB I asked if we would be telling after, both SS I'm part of we end up guessing, but I think maybe that's because there are just a few of us.

BP yes yes yes it's the thought. She bought me this heart shaped thing and I just inwardly growned. Im guessing it was a re-gifted item, as it wasn't even to her taste. She could have bought me a box of choc and it would have been better.

Jj you don't HAVE to record in the red book. But there are a few pages where you can note down mile stones. Crawling, steps, words and teeth. I've tried to fill it in. But am rubbish.
Havnt even started As record book yet. It's a lovely Beatrix potter one never even read the books

GTbaby · 23/12/2013 00:54

2nd time I've come on to post today and not asked what I'd come to ask.

Ok so out last night. Between 7-11 I ff A. Got home at 1am. Boobs hard and sore. But A wouldn't wake to feed. Last time I did this I ended up awake at 4 am in agony and had to express.
So thought this time I had got my pump ready before going out. I managed to pump 8oz! However it's separated In fridge over night, which I know it normal. However the water part is ALOT more then the thinker milk usually is.

So next time should I express longer to get more thind milk? As I was kinda aware of pumping to much and messing up supply? Or does once not matter?
I think ill have same issue on Xmas day as we will be out during evening?

I seem to be able to do two day time ff in a row fine, it's when it's the last two of the day I have a problem.

Hope I make sense.

GTbaby · 23/12/2013 01:32

Oh and guess what FH did today.
And a few ppl over for tea. He puts a few cans of beer in freezer to cool. I open freezer and an almost frozen can falls on my foot Confused it's now very sore and bruised.
Very annoyed at FH.

Pikz · 23/12/2013 06:27

YW we always had the same reaction to CC a cry up so did it once and never again.

However the physical nature of bedtime has left DP and I exhausted so I has to try something and was shocked it worked.

It didn't work at 2am but I only left him for 2 minutes but at that time a cuddle did and he was only up 15 mins.

He did. 7-6.25 with a 15 min wake up at 2. A huge huge huge improvement.

Zamboni · 23/12/2013 06:42

Shit night here too as usual. Blowing a gale outside too . DC at nursery today - last days in their respective rooms as they move up a room apiece in Jan. DH and I doing food shopping for Xmas. Aldi, Sains and M&S in one day!

S has now outgrown size 12-18 month babygrows and vests because he is too tall. The 18-24 sizes aren't even flapping around his legs either. Would any of the shorter quiche babies like his 12-18 month 'grows and vests? Well used but plenty of wear remaining. Have a 9-12 sleeping bag too (a Pooh one) which we've long since abandoned. PM if interested.

Pikz · 23/12/2013 07:51

Zamboni I wish you strength and patience!

horseylady · 23/12/2013 08:07

zamboni when are you up this way? Meet up?!

Have been reading just rushed to post!!!

With food, we always offer two or three courses. He has no snacks apart from a banana around 4pm if he's really hungry. He's offered what's given to him. If he doesn't eat it or much we just offer the next part of the meal. If he's still not eating, I assume he's not hungry and he gets down. Sleep wise, pop him in his cot, and he either sleeps or he doesn't. Bed time doesn't happen here till between 8/9 pm. He gets up about 7. No way could we do a 7 bedtime. He's still eating dinner or just finished!! And he's playing too!! But this works for us.

I saw a lovely horse yesterday..... I want him!! My trainer needs to ok him first though.

Passmethecrisps · 23/12/2013 08:14

Morning.

Oh for sure - anyone who needs to do her hours on end on the landing business get my utmost sympathy.

P has woken pretty miserable. Cried and cried then just cuddled in to DH watching a film about cats on the telly. We are only just managing to get her to take her medicine milk so seems she is under the weather. Temp is 37.7 so nothing traumatic.

Driving down to Sunderland this morning so hopefully she will get lots of rest before manic granny!

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 23/12/2013 08:18

zamboni could I put my hand up for sleepsuits and vests? We are on our way out of 9 -12 and haven't got any long sleeved winters.

We have had a good couple of nights since I put a fleecy faux sheepskin under sheet under Os sheet rather than straight onto the plastic covered mattress. He has sleep till nearly 7. [fconfuaed]

DH is still v stiff and can. It put his socks on, but he is accepting help and behaving normally! Ish.

O hilarious, walking about a fair amount now and after a few steps he always throws his arms in the air shouts "yay" Xmas Grin

HoLilyChristmas311 · 23/12/2013 08:49

Shit night here too. Poor baby is blocked up. I decided to spend the day in front of the telly watching baby einstein. We are both too tired.

I bought O 12-18m vests in October . They are too small. Ffs. I have some 18-24 but need to dig them out. I need warm boots for O, anyone has any recommendations? It's -4 here and at one point it will go down to -10.

Zamboni · 23/12/2013 09:22

Thanks pikz, that made me Grin we survived Aldi, along with the entire western world or so it seemed. The car park was full by 0740. It opens at 8! We queued for a trolley. Still - one down!

sophia sure thang...

horsey YES! Coming up Boxing Day at some stage. Not bring my car and not sure if I will have use of one either, but v happy to escape my lovely but crazy family go somewhere by train. Should be around until at least 30th. Any good for you? Any other midlands / easy midlands quichsters available for a meet?

YellowWellies · 23/12/2013 09:33

I got a 5 hour and a 6 hour chunk of sleep. And have just had to go in to wake J. Am so glad DH is home to do his magic resettling cuddle at 3am. Poor sod is jet lagged but still does his share. I think we could both sleep for a week.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 10:09

Will catch up in a mo. Back from paed's.

Just wanted to thank a certain someone for the huge box of crisps, chocolate and beloved British junk food that arrived just as I got in.

I SAID no, but I'm very glad you did it as i really needed the quiche love. Very generous, please be assured they will be much enjoyed.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 10:38

DD1 was very delirious overnight. Violently so. That plus what looked like thrush in her mouth meant I called the paed and she slotted her in almost first thing which was lovely. She thinks it is either a sore throat virus or possibly mild hand foot and mouth as has a few spots on her hands, but not sores. Anyway she reckons as it started on Saturday it should be over with by Thursday and that the rest of us have it to look forward to. Yay. Reckons LO will definitely get it. Woo. Will be a project for my m by proxy MIL.

I have been really working hard ln DD1's doctor phobia which developed a year ago in hospital. Have taken her along to my gp with me and played at unexessary no pressure check ups with them. It has paid off and she was, although obviously scared, calm and did everything right. The hysteria came on the way home when I refused to blow up her balloon that she got as a reward. Because I really need a balloon to be thrown at me when driving Xmas Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 10:41

Now hoping for a quiet moment to scoff my chocolate place an online order for my fruit and veg last bits and pieces. Am defrosting only half a cock as realised there is far too much for just us and I don't think I have a pan big enough for the whole cock. It is gigantic, biggest cock ever.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/12/2013 11:48

My life is full of cock at the moment. Just googled the name of the two illnesses the paed gave me and they are both due to the cocksackie virus. What a fab name for such a bastard.
