How are the little ones now PR?

PetiteRaleuse · 22/12/2013 13:54

LO is ok but grumpy. No more vom yet.

DD1 is knackered and not herself, but paracetamol is helping brighten her up marginally. Drinking lots, eating v little and quiet.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/12/2013 13:54

I think mild flu is possible. Will wait and see how she goes.

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 22/12/2013 13:57

It seems there might be a link. Most formulas do growing up milk if needs be which might be a good halfway house.

Things have perked up following a hot shower, hairwash and getting ready for the day. DH, although in pain, has been smiling and engaging which, tbh, is all I want. His company. He has agreed to let me stick a hot water bottle down the back of his trousers and is walking about. I have put a beef cinnamon stew in the oven for later and I will take DS1 to the Carols by myself.

I hope everyone in your house is feeling ok pr I can understand you must be on tenterhooks following last years debacle. Fx'd this year smudges the memory of that with new tales of the inlaws

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 22/12/2013 13:58

Oh dear pr that is poo. Hope she perks up. Xx

ValiumQueen · 22/12/2013 14:22

It does sound like flu PR.

ValiumQueen · 22/12/2013 14:23

Beef and cinnamon. Not a combo I have tried. I guess it is good?

PetiteRaleuse · 22/12/2013 14:46

Sounds lovely. Soph there are some great gel packs you pop in the microwave for 90 seconds which sort my back out when it's being naughty.

She also has thrush in her mouth. But won't accept daktarin gel. This is soooo much fun. Is refusing to nap too. Xmas Hmm

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 22/12/2013 15:30

Oo I might have to purchase one of those they look good.

The Beef and cinnamon is lovely and warming is a Tana Ramsay recipe. Boys are Having pasta now, we will eat alone when I get back from carols. Boys can have a supper, cheese on toast or something.

Snow a top the mountains, it's lovely.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/12/2013 16:08

They last 8 hours plus. A whole night of snuggliness.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/12/2013 16:35

Oh good. LO has got diarrea.

ValiumQueen · 22/12/2013 16:47

I am sorry PR Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 22/12/2013 17:08

It's ok. I wasn't expecting anything else with this fucking cursed year we have had. June was good. We had a good trip to the UK.

Pikz · 22/12/2013 17:13

Oh PR big hugs.

Sophia sounds good and carols sound lovely.

L currently walking about with the doorstop like a body builder.

I have done all of Christmas. Have two days to cook and tidy before everyone arrives. Tesco and waitrose done in one day!

Just a trip to the farm to pick up pre ordered meat and let L play in the pig pen again Grin

PurplePidjin · 22/12/2013 17:35

R was the cutest shepherd ever. I'm still buggy, but it's more tht i get exhausted and nauseous by lunchtime than an actual bug. And a runny tum, but controlled iyswim. So maybe pist viral?

Brew and [stollen] to those in need

PetiteRaleuse · 22/12/2013 17:48

pidj they sound familiar symptoms. Nausea, extreme tiredness, funny digestion...

Passmethecrisps · 22/12/2013 17:59

So sorry pr. Fucking bugs.

Any pics of your wee shepherd pp?

P is currently SITTING DOWN watching In the Night Garden. Peace.

We finally finished our shopping today. It has been desperate. Left until the absolute minute which always ends up costing a fortune.

I did, however, treat myself to a frock in TK Maxx. A monsoon one kind of fifties stylee. £15 and a size smaller than normal. Brill! I figured I could swish around on. Christmas Day drinking Buck's Fizz

PetiteRaleuse · 22/12/2013 18:03

Sent DH all the way up to Lux city (round trip of almost 40 miles) to get an Indian takeaway. Yum. He just got back. Yum.

Passmethecrisps · 22/12/2013 18:05

For a good Indian meal, pr I would say that was worth it! Hope you have plates warmed though!!

Passmethecrisps · 22/12/2013 18:12

Whadya know? It's this one and I paid less. All be it a year out of season but who would care? Picture doesn't do it justice. It has a petticoat thing which makes it puff out ever so slightly and a nipped in waist.

ChasingDaisy · 22/12/2013 18:25

Pretty pass! On Christmas Day I shall be rocking a Christmas jumper. As will O.

MsJupiterJones · 22/12/2013 18:47

I have been trying to buy a Christmas jumper for L but to no avail. Where did you get O's from?

Having been pleased with myself for being organised this year, I left a few vital bits till the last minute and had to brave the crowds today. It was horrible and I didn't even get what I needed so back to the shops tomorrow.

ChasingDaisy · 22/12/2013 18:51

JJ it was bought as a gift but it was from Next Smile

YellowWellies · 22/12/2013 18:57

Pass I'm going to be rocking my new fifties style dress on Christmas day too. I'm sure everyone else will be casual and I'll look overdressed but I love it!

DH is home. Everything is right in Casa Wellies. Am so chuffed he's home I love him so much. Was funny the bear and I were reading a story when Betsy rushed to the window and lo, two minutes later DH pulled up. They know don't they? Jonas has been a bit clingy to me but let DH give him his tea.
