Horsey hope it resolves as one or t'other! The green gunk does sound like he needs abx, but equally it could as you say be reflux triggered by the fecking MMR and then coming off the omeprazole. J got an awful cough from it which I thought he'd picked up in the doc's waiting room but it was a cough caused by post jags reflux. I hate that it can be so unclear what's wrong. I hope he's better in time for Christmas. xx

Right bed my lovelies xx

GTbaby · 19/12/2013 00:10

Someone in the oct13 thread suggested using bump band at night. Like a boob tube. To hold breast pads in place. OMG. Brilliant. Don't feel like I'm wearing a bra!

VQ · 19/12/2013 00:13

J has a horrid cough post jags, and his reflux has returned despite being on top dose of omeprazole. His poo has been green like it used to be. It is so hard to decipher.

Horsey I hope Santa brings you a horse. And omeprazole too Smile

The wind here is scary. Pass must have been on the sprouts again.

VQ · 19/12/2013 00:14

Michael C Hall. Now that would make a lovely stocking filler.

VQ · 19/12/2013 00:17

Lovely story of your friend Pass, although dreadful that she was in that situation. I have recently got in touch with an old school friend who remembers our family with fondness as our love helped make up for the problems in her home. She wrote my parents a thank you letter some 30 years on Smile

Zamboni · 19/12/2013 00:40

I have the itchiest toes where my nails were removed. It's driving me crazy.

Pikz · 19/12/2013 05:37

He finally slept through after a month of the worst sleep ever.

Thank fuck.

PetiteRaleuse · 19/12/2013 06:15

That's brilliant news to wake up to pikz :)

Pikz · 19/12/2013 06:30

PR am currently thanking France and the mountains... We may finally be out of illness hell!

Evilwater · 19/12/2013 07:27

Well n was awake and shouting at me this morning. It's always 0530, and he keeps going till I get up and pick him up. So how can I stop him from shouting all morning?

Evil

Zamboni · 19/12/2013 07:30

evil I can't help with that bit when you find out, please share !! Grin

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 19/12/2013 08:11

pass that has bought a tear to my eye. I think my mum would have done that too. She was great to my fiends and they all loved her.

Anyway....... All Christmasses were a bit different at our house, but was always happened was lots of wine, lots of food, bully my dad into playing board games and pulling the the sofa up close to the fire in the evening to snuggle in.

This year is my first year of our new traditions really as we are now finally settled and i'mloving it. I feel very excited, particularly about having DH home for a few days.

Elizadoesdolittle · 19/12/2013 09:03

great news pikz

I just had to google who Michael c hall is. Never watched Dexter, is on my to watch list but I'm not good with series that go on and on and on. Apart from game of thrones. I hope that never ends.

YellowWellies · 19/12/2013 09:21

Sleep through here too! Whoop!

ditsygal · 19/12/2013 09:50

Evil, F always shouts/cries as soon as he wakes in the morning until I go get him. However this morning he was stirring from 5am and I just kept shushing him through the monitor - this went on every ten mins or so until 6am and then he slept until gone 7am! that never happens!
I usually wait until he actually cries before shushing him, but this morning I could just see him stirring and thinking about getting up and the shushing seemed to stop it in its tracks! It might just be a one off fluke though Smile

Anyway sorry that was a bit rambley - but basically was suggesting you try the 'talk back' function on the monitor...

ditsygal · 19/12/2013 09:51

pass that is so lovely. It makes me hope I can show that sort of kindness to anyone who needs it. I bet your friend still remembers it.

PetiteRaleuse · 19/12/2013 11:37

pikz mountain air does that to them :) Sea air knocks DD1 out. She was sleeping through at 12 weeks and started when we went on holiday to the Normandy coast. Unfortunately not all of France has the magic sleep effect.

TheDetective · 19/12/2013 14:04

We got a sleep through too last night. Goodness knows how though, given he has woke up with his nose exploding every 3 seconds from snot.

I've also got a sore throat and snotty nose.

Awesome! Sharing germs clearly!

Michael C Hall is hawwwwt! Grin. Dexter is the first series of anything I have watched all the way through (and loved!). Me and DP are still searching for something to replace it. We got to the 3rd or 4th series of Gray's Anatomy, and got bored. We tried House, and Walking Dead, hated both of those! Gah!

I've been to the baby group christmas party this morning. Pic on fb! O seems to like FC! He's got his own santa hat with his name on too! Grin He drove me mental, wouldn't stop running off. I think it's time to move to toddler group after christmas. :( Hope the other babies in our group of friends move up soon. We will be very lonely :(

I'm putting off wrapping yet more presents. I've got to do DP's stuff today.

I need to get some more shopping still. Thanks for the clothes advice by the way, I have ordered all 4 and shall await their arrival! I have also managed to ruin an outfit by sitting in some bleach (no idea how) so I DEFINITELY need more clothes now!!

I'm more in the christmas spirit now though, I even wrote my cards last night, and put up the remainder of the decorations!

Hope everyone else is feeling suitably festive! I'm going to make mince pies before work tomorrow. Will take some in. I hope they go okay!!

Diet is off from tonight until midnight 1st Jan! I've maintained since my birthday despite lbs coming off, then going on, it's roughly stayed the same each week at SW, so I'm pretty chuffed with that. I am still eating SW meals, but I want to have christmassy treats, so I am will! Grin I'm going to work super hard in new year and want to get a stone off as quick as poss (plus if I put a couple of lb on over the next 2 weeks).

ReindeerIsles · 19/12/2013 15:29

We had a sleep through too after lots of whinging and not actually going down till 11 Confused

I am really looking forward to the next week. Tonight I am being taken out for dinner to celebrate my new job and then we are driving around delivering all the local Christmas cards. Tomorrow is my staff lunch out. Saturday we are going to costco/ikea to stock up on everything far too excited about this Blush Sunday is a trip to edinburgh to finish Christmas shopping and then we are having a big family get together at my grans that we do every year Smile . Monday we are getting sky installed ridiculously excited about this too Blush and then I have just been told today i am getting xmas eve off, so now 6 days in a row Grin

StuntNun · 19/12/2013 16:06

Isles make sure you get a wireless wotsit so you can get Sky On Demand. I've taken to downloading some things rather than recording them as the On Demand programmes don't have adverts.

The cat (Jesus - I won!) is a little fecking shit!!!!!

He's 4.5 months old and he can do things no 4.5 month old cat should bloody well be able to do!

Last night he scaled the high sleeper to get in DS1's bed with him.

Today he pulled the christmas lights off the window.

He scaled the fireguard and got in side of it and started knocking the balls out my bowl!

And I'm definitely sure he just flicked the birdy at the dog.

Jesus is not normal. Grin

PurplePidjin · 19/12/2013 17:21

Must've been the night for it, r did 6-6 too. Nap dodged though, only 2x15 minutes but i managed to tickle a decent dinner into him. I'm having to almost force feed him the first few mouthfuls - by that i mean gently hold his cheeks with one hand so he opens his mouth, I'm not prising jaws open or owt Shock - then he gets the idea and does his baby bird impression for the rest. I wonder if he's too hungry to eat like he gets too tired to sleep? He didn't want crispies or oat cake mid afternoon Xmas Hmm

ChasingDaisy · 19/12/2013 18:29

We had a sleep through here last night too - 13 hours Shock Definitely seems to have been the night for it. A repeat performance tonight please babies?

GTbaby · 19/12/2013 18:43

We have first steps!
3steps twice. Then he falls about laughing.
How long until we have proper walking?

Think he may be the latest quiche walker! At 14months and 1 week old.

BigPigLittlePig · 19/12/2013 19:00

Little piggy slept, after a few resettles early on. I however did not as am full of some viral grimness which had me shivering my way through the night. Urgh.

All this talk of sleep is making me think of flouncy - she has been quiet lately so hope all is ok in the flouncy house.

Horsey sorry to hear of more illness. FC the antibiotics help and things settle down quickly for the wee dude.

GT yay for steps! F did that a month or so ago, but unless encouraged, crawls 95% of the time, and will walk perhaps 5 metres when egged on. I think it was kyzs E who took months to walk properly after taking steps. And yet others have done steps than practically run - dets O??

Puppy is in dhs bad books tonight, as she managed to chew through the cable for the ipod speakers. Really it's dhs fault as he leaves the cable unplugged and dangling when he charges his phone. I have declined to point this out to him though!

Talking of dh, he's off out to MILs, as MILs demented elderly mother died in the night. This is actually a blessed relief, as she has been falling, not eating, aggressive for months, and hasn't known who she is or who others are, for years. Her quality of life has been dreadful. Anyway, MIL rang as we were leaving the house this morning. Poor dh has had his sister on the phone this evening saying MIL has been blubbing to her that DH doesn't bother with her/care for her/love her etc, as he hasn't pitched up on her doorstep with flowers/condolences etc. I told dh that her behaviour is vile Blush well it is but bless him he has gone over to keep the peace. I could take this opportunity to sleep potter, but am going to make some drawstring bags for some of Fs toys that Santa is bringing her.
