Big big massive hugs always.I don't know what to say but please take my hand and squeeze it tightly Thanks I know it is not really the same but P had massive issues after dealing with multiple bridge jumpers in one week and counselling seemed to help somewhat. Your poor brother Sad

sophia I would go with pr's suggestion. I am actively encouraging A to bark when someone comes to the door, but also making sure he knows to go back to the kitchen and sit/wait when I get there. Basically I want him to protect me/M/the house; but be restrained and charming when he realises there is no danger. He is getting there. I love the fact he lies at the bottom of the stairs when M is in bed Smile

Can you tell I am meant to be studying? Blush

Zamboni · 17/12/2013 14:23

sophia I would have been petrified. I am scared of big or loud dogs I don't know.

always how awful. I don't know what to say but we're listening. Hugs.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 17/12/2013 14:44

I bet you do always that just sounds horrific. ((Bug hug ))

Thanks all, have to say was a gibbery mess. Feel better now, but I will not be stopped going out walking.

StuntNun · 17/12/2013 16:47

That sounds very concerning Always, is there anything you and your family can do to help and support him. My MIL tried to kill herself twice and self-harmed as well when my DS2 was a baby and it's very difficult to know what to do or say. How is he doing now?

Always Sad Sad Sad Sad jeez poor guy! Poor you too. I second the advice re counselling.

Evil 'cujo' I love it!!! The cot is the safest place for him if you need a break. I'm sure we've all done it.

Sophia that's Shock Shock Shock protecting property is one thing but they need a bloody gate! If nothing else the dog could get involved in an accident and the liability could run into the hundreds of thousands.

Isles now you've ordered a new card you're old one will turn up. Sods law. Glad to hear last night was a success.

Zamboni we still BF and cuddle / rock to sleep. If I pat his back / bum quite hard and shoosh him he tends to settle pretty quick unless there's something underlying like teeth, jags or reflux in which case DH has the magic touch. Was up twice last night once for over an hour due to teeth. Feck arse!!!!!!

It's DH's birthday and he's thousands of miles away Sad . So I treated myself to a Christmas dress today. It's a rockabilly 50s style and makes this podgy pear shape look like an hourglass. They do them in heaps of colours I would buy loads more but they're £70 Sad . I fitted into a 10 (and I'm so not a size 10!!!) so that made me Grin .

YellowWellies · 17/12/2013 17:14

Argh 'your' not 'you're'.

HoLilyChristmas311 · 17/12/2013 17:54

always oh no. How is he doing?

sophia how awful

PetiteRaleuse · 17/12/2013 18:04

Linky please yw

PurplePidjin · 17/12/2013 18:16

R has puked once and had one vvv messy nappy. He's also off his food Sad

ReindeerIsles · 17/12/2013 18:36

Little bugger. Tilly playing with her cash register and pulls out something that looks suspiciously like my mastercard. Wanders over to P with a gleeful 'ta'. 'Stolen' credit card found: no use to man nor thief Sad

Zamboni · 17/12/2013 18:42

isles but theft and subsequent use correctly (with her till) is something to be proud of - she knew what it was for!

MsJupiterJones · 17/12/2013 19:05

How logical but how annoying Isles! I was looking for something earlier and the first place I looked was the washing machine - then thought, yep that's my life now!

Passmethecrisps · 17/12/2013 19:11

always that sounds awful. What a terrible thing for him to go through and then for you all to be left trying to hold him. How is he now? And how are you all? You have always struck me as a massively positive person but please know where we are for whatever gets you through. And poor M!

YellowWellies · 17/12/2013 19:22

PR not sure the shop has a website. It's called Cookie in Edinburgh. I went actual real life dress shopping not on tinterweb! Will see if I can find a linky.

Isles what a bright button! Christmas on P eh? Wink

Always wot Pass said. You know where we are xx

Pikz · 17/12/2013 19:24

Always big big hugs

Isles that made me chuckle...my keys have been inside my boots, in the fridge, in a drawer and in the bin in the last 3 days alone!

I swear it is not normal for a 1 year old to have this much energy!

Pikz · 17/12/2013 19:27

YW just did a quick google

Passmethecrisps · 17/12/2013 19:29

isles that made me Grin Grin

You'll know next time!

I want to know where this frock is from yw! I am currently in that "I hate everything I wear" phase where I wear the same outfit every single weekend. My work wardrobe is pretty extensive but when it was non-uniform day on Friday I stood looking perplexed for a long time before getting dressed. pp you mentioned something g recently as well that piqued my interest. A frock for a tenner?

I am not a massive doggy fan. I think I say this every time the topic comes up. The fact is that family passme are friends of all animals but I am wary of dogs because I was taught to be. My dad has an awful story of having to kill his dog with his hands because it was attacking his sister completely out of the blue. Anyway . . . sophia's situation would have had me very nervous. With no gate that is unacceptable. Granny and grandpa pass had a dog and I remember once shouting plaintively at a clearly terrified jogger "he won't hurt you" then thinking 'actually, how the fuck do I know?'

Passmethecrisps · 17/12/2013 19:32

I think I need the Elsa . . . And the mac. These are gorgeous!

And yw with your fabulous tallness you will look absolutely show-stopping in those styles

Passmethecrisps · 17/12/2013 19:34

pikz p doesn't stop until she literally drops. She is like a drinking Duracell bunny! I have had the remote control in my work bag and Sophie La Giraffe apparently now lives in the Tupperware cupboard.

Passmethecrisps · 17/12/2013 19:35

Oops! A freeking Duracell bunny is what I meant. A drinking one would be quite staggery and aimless . . . Actually . . .

Passmethecrisps · 17/12/2013 19:37

Lots of bugs at the moment pp. Poor wee soul. You had jags yesterday was it? Do you think this is related? We have postponed ours until after the festive period as the thought of illness at granny and grandpa's is too much!

Passmethecrisps · 17/12/2013 19:40

Everyone having tea?

Gives me a decent chance to catch up then!

How's evil? N will have ups and downs as will you. Ignore exP. What would he know anyway, frankly? I hope you caught some breathing space earlier.

Pikz · 17/12/2013 19:48

Pass I'm doing the same!

PP big hugs and hope R is better soon

Evil you are doing ace.

Sophia I am very scared of dogs. Alright with some of them but lots of barking and jumping has me running for the hills.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 17/12/2013 20:10

Wow.... I am going to keep a link to that shop, I like the Joni and the Norma pls.

DH says I should go over about the monster over the raid as it may get them who has complained about our wind turbine. Which has all gone quiet btw. He has asked who it was and they won't release it so he will use the freedom of information act on them but not till they have got back to us first.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 17/12/2013 20:11

Oh yes, am too, liking the mac.
