vq I only got stat mat pay and gave her 8 weeks notice before my mat leave run out. We anyway agreed I would not be returning as I moved back to Hungary. I will enquire with payroll.

Baby girl in bed, we had stories in my new bed and she loved it. I still have two boxes of furnitures but it will wait till tmrw or Monday.

evil it is very hard. I used to go to sleep at 8 as didn't know what to do with myself while o was asleep. It really gets easier but it takes time. I can now manage to stay awake till 10 by reading or just being lazy in front of telly. And I hope you will find someone.

YellowWellies · 07/12/2013 18:34

Whoop! I'm off out with the playgroup Mums tonight for our 'SAHM Christmas do'. Tapas and drinkies. Going out for dinner without a high chair! First meal out without him or night out without DH since J was born. V excited! Smile will not get trollied and end up in the gutter

Evilwater · 07/12/2013 18:36

I'm fine, n is fed, bathed and ready for bed.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/12/2013 18:37

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/12/2013 18:50

evil sorry! popped out! I am ?Northern .ireland if you fancy it! X

Off out for my hot date momentarily! Excited. Grin

FlouncingIsles · 07/12/2013 18:51

I was supposed to be going out tonight with the women in our street. But feel too deathly to even consider leaving the house Sad and I can't keep up with the additional rate taxpayers' gold-digging WAGs Blush

Feeling slightly better though so may order a Chinese. Enjoy your night out YW

M has been spark out in her cot since 4. Spent most of the day asleep on me. She's not right at all, but has kept down 300mls of water and a dry rice cake today. Her jabs are on Monday - should I delay them? Or go along to the 1yr review and ask their opinion? It will be P taking her

Passmethecrisps · 07/12/2013 19:16

Poor poorly babies and mums

Baby in bed, pizza on my plate and film on my telly

YellowWellies · 07/12/2013 19:28

Isles I remember Willow had rotavirus the week before her 12 month jags and the doc suggested they be delayed as it takes them a while to recover from D&V and the 12 month jags are against six different nasties so can hit them quite hard. I'd call and ask maybe? Hope you're feeling better. Poor M it must be horrible seeing her like that Sad .

ChasingDaisy · 07/12/2013 19:45

Isles I have delayed O's jabs as he is still recovering from back to back colds and a sickness bug. If I were in your shoes I would delay for a week or so. My surgery were very understanding about it.

I am spending my evening searching online dating sites to keep my mind off JFG...

PurplePidjin · 07/12/2013 19:59

I would delay, don't want to overload the system. R's were meant to be 25/11 but he had a cold so rebooked for 16/12. He's still coughing but no other symptoms and I bark for weeks after the slightest sniffle so unless he goes down with something else in the meantime I'll go for it.

Do i want to go to the pub? Would be solo but a mate's new band is playing so I'd know people there (used to do it all the time in my pre-raphaelite days)

ChasingDaisy · 07/12/2013 20:02

Ours are on the 18/12 pidj so we can hand hold and cry through the after effects together Grin O still has a runny nose 2.5 weeks after his cold started. And yes, I think you do want to go to the pub. I think you think it will be fun Smile

YellowWellies · 07/12/2013 20:02

Pre-raphaelite days. I love it!

FlouncingIsles · 07/12/2013 20:13

Yes you want to go to the pub Smile

I have ordered a Chinese but typically after feeling fine all afternoon now feel vommy again Sad Sad

I will phone first thing Monday to get them delayed.

I am lusting over this flat although it is totally inaffordable without P's income being taken into consideration. can you tell I've had an afternoon pinned to the sofa by ill baby and am procrastinating from studying?

PurplePidjin · 07/12/2013 20:16
Xmas Grin

The only real Xmas Shock is that i didn't use that phrase until after he was born, YW Xmas Hmm

ChasingDaisy · 07/12/2013 20:16

OK, now I'm lusting over that flat too!

Evilwater · 07/12/2013 20:29

I've done the Xmas decorations, and the dishes and cleaned the front room. The cat has already tried to chew the plastic and knock off the baubles. So I haven't put up the glass ones.

Poor tree.

Evil

FlouncingIsles · 07/12/2013 20:44

Chasing it is just across the river from me! I think I want to buy in that town. It has everything our village doesn't (good schools, decent bars and restaurants, Tesco....) but anything nice is probably out of my price range. Sad

And that flat is now under offer, so even a lottery win wouldn't get me it..

FlouncingIsles · 07/12/2013 20:51

Thoughts on leaving M's non-spill cup of water in her cot with her overnight?

Pikz · 07/12/2013 20:57

All I can smell is vom vom vom everywhere

ChasingDaisy · 07/12/2013 20:57

Sounds sensible to me isles. Does she drink from it independently when thirsty?

ValiumQueen · 07/12/2013 21:03

Isles no to cup in cot. Yes to delaying jags. And no to the flat! You could buy a lovely house in a lovely village for less than that.

I am shattered so I am going to bed. J is coping ok post jags but his teeth are giving him hell. He has such a sore bottom. Top two molars well and truly through, just bottom two to push through. The gum is just breaking. Must be so very sore.

Night night quiche x

ValiumQueen · 07/12/2013 21:04

Still no better Pikz? I so feel for you. How long has it been now?

ValiumQueen · 07/12/2013 21:05

Mobile dying so I will go now, but am thinking of you Pikz xxx

ChasingDaisy · 07/12/2013 21:07

Isles listen to VQ about the cup. She knows what she's talking about Grin

horseylady · 07/12/2013 21:31

No to cup. Just keep offering if she wakes in the night. And no to the flat!!! Not if you can buy somewhere and if you can't truely afford it. We aim to save 1/3 of our salary a month. This month my car needs a new clutch which means well save nothing really. And while we have properties, we take no income from them. They pay for themselves and can remain empty while we sort them for a while. Though we still pay tax.

vq I applied for a new job last night. Had to email them to apologise for the quality etc. Annoyingly I'd done all the work on my works PC!!!!!

evil and chasing hugs.
