Meant to say Flouncy those avent pots I rave about are ideal portions for packed lunches. I love those pots.

Zamboni · 07/12/2013 08:04

(Hugs) lily. That is beyond shit, and sadly very common.

Shit night here too. S on antibiotics AGAIN for his cough. Vivid, odd dreams and lots of waking for me. Toes excruciating. DD helped me bath them - got me a towel and patted my leg!

GT my two go to nursery Mondays and Fridays, and we pay for bank holidays. It's a PITA but those are the days we need and so we have to suck it up.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/12/2013 08:21

Want to know the Gossip pr

Sory for all those with rough nights. Brew and the proverbial poached eggs. Have been lucky enough to be invited out to breaky with the boys. DS1 invited me not DH Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 07/12/2013 08:29

Squeeeeeeeeee! DH has gone to pick up the tree. It's pissing down with rain here so we are going to spend the day inside listening to Christmas music, eating and decorating, then a nice long walk to calm inevitably hyper DD1 down.

ChasingDaisy · 07/12/2013 08:32

((((Cuddles)))) Lily. I wish I could wave a magic wand for you. You deserve only good things, not all of this shit.

I want to know the gossip too PR. My uni friend who was here yesterday works in the film industry and actually worked on the last two Potter films.

Haven't been apart from O for 2 weeks so am going to miss him loads this weekend. He's my little buddy.

Off to brave CMK for Christmas shopping and then home to put the tree up Smile

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/12/2013 08:37

Have a great day chasing sounds perfect.

DH is going to try and attempt to put up our outdoor lights today. I might disappear with the boys while that is going on.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/12/2013 08:44

Going to look at a house on Tuesday. To rent. In the same village, rentals are quite rare here. It's quite a bit more price wise but significantly bigger, with a converted basement with playrooms, spare bedrooms etc. And a better heating system than the absolute bollocks one here.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/12/2013 08:48

Is there a linky? Bit of Gaelic house porn. Xmas Wink

ChasingDaisy · 07/12/2013 08:56

Isles how is M now?

What was the general consensus on me buying a Christmas card for XP from O? I don't want to btw

PurplePidjin · 07/12/2013 09:20

Chasing i wouldn't

Brew all round. 2:30 poo here

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/12/2013 09:25

Well chasing I always used to for ex h from the girls. And I would always get one back. Remember long term is O that matters. I always think of it this way no matter how much I dislike their father now and am angry at him for how he made me feel one day, hopefully, both or one of the girls will marry, graduate, whatever, and I never want them to have to battle over who to invite, or be a parent who says I'm not going if he is. They will be loyal to both of us and we are loyal to them. So, as grown up as you can keep it, is for the best for O. Whatever is going on inside. And so if you want to then do it.

Elizadoesdolittle · 07/12/2013 09:25

flouncy I still have to heavily puree everything for E inc mince. For spag bol I put the baby pasta in the sauce and blitz it all in the blender. soooo bored of pureeing evetything. And I think E is fed up of it too as she is desperate to eat finger foods but she just chokes and sicks it back up, quite often with whatever else she has eaten so it's counterintuitive. The dietician gave me a list of foods which are dissolve able but it's all snacky unhealthy stuff. She loves scoffing a packet of chocolate buttons! Not much help to you I know.

vq Grin bplp was pretty spot on then.

Today we are going to decorate the tree. Then I'll take DD1 to her swimming lesson. Then this evening I plan to watch elf whilst scoffing chinese takeaway and drinking baileys.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/12/2013 09:26

And if you CBA then don't. I don't anymore btw. They are old enough to sort it our themselves.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/12/2013 09:26

Is elf actually on TV today or is everyone just watching it on the same day?

Elizadoesdolittle · 07/12/2013 09:33

chasing can you help O make one? Doesn't have to be anything fancy, a few foam stickers and scribbles. Then it really is more from O rather than you choosing one. I think sophia explained the bigger picture very well.

Elizadoesdolittle · 07/12/2013 09:38

sophia I have it on bluray Grin
There was a bit of a hoo ha as channel 4 normally show it but it's only on sky movies this year. I have that too but I like to choose when I can watch it. It's a shame there isn't the annual everyone watch elf at the same time though reading too much into this.

ChasingDaisy · 07/12/2013 09:41

The idea of making a card is a good one. Then I don't have to buy a card and it is definitely from O. Thanks ladies. FWIW, I don't think he is expecting a card and I don't think he will be getting me one.

Me and XP are on civil terms now. We only speak about O. I am open with him about JFG spending time with O as I think that is only fair. Not that he tells me about his skanky girlfriend spending time with O.... But yeah, we keep things civil.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/12/2013 09:45

You have just had such an amazing year chasing a big cuddle to you.

ValiumQueen · 07/12/2013 09:59

Not quite caught up, but had to send a hug for Lily. I can imagine you feel that the world is conspiring against you at the moment, and that is so unfair after what you have gone through/ are going through. I don't know what to say really, but couldn't not say anything x

Chasing, I think as Sophia says, be the kind grown-up here and send a card. And don't be upset if you do not get one back.

ValiumQueen · 07/12/2013 09:59

And I never thought I would ever read PR saying squeee!

ValiumQueen · 07/12/2013 10:04

J also has most things in purée form even though he has shark teeth. He just gags on stuff otherwise. He hates fake chocolate.

FlouncingIsles · 07/12/2013 10:08

Big big hugs lily I don't know what to say.

Hooray for tree decorating. We did ours last week. So far untouched by puppy and baby.

GT I love the idea of your guess who! Perhaps google personalized board games or similar? Bop it is a good one though.

I have really really enjoyed my first week back at work. My team are awesome as are my managers. Really enjoying it.

BUT I have caught M's lurgy. As has P. I spent all last night throwing up and generally look/feel like death today. P has braved going to work today. M is still asleep. She hasn't eaten anything flr three days now but kept down 200ml of water with rehydration meds in it so fx'd she is slowly on the mend.

horseylady · 07/12/2013 10:45

Hugs lily

chasing I too would send a card. But I'm soft.

yw they're fairly confident no cmpi. He's never had cows milk free anything and said it would be rare to develop at this stage.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/12/2013 11:05

isles hope you and t's illness clears up soon.

lily hugs and Cake

Misslaughalot · 07/12/2013 11:35

Lily Thanks
Isles get well soon! And hope M is feeling better too!
GT personalised Guess Who sounds fab!
Chasing a handmade card from you and O would be nice for JFG too Wink still waiting patiently for a photo

I am finally feeling more human again, although i still can't hear out of my left ear. D&V has stopped and I actually ate breakfast so all is good with the world!

You may remember we've recently moved and the house on the other side of the shared wall is occupied by an elderly lady and her middle aged son. He's the one who's been banging on the wall a few times during O's late night teething pain screaming. We still haven't met him, he wasn't in when we went to introduce ourselves and I sent round a bottle of wine and apology card a couple of weeks ago after a particularly bad night, and neither of them were home so I left it in the porch. Anyway, DP got home last night just as he was walking past our house from the corner shop. DP said 'hello mate' as he would do to anybody near him, and got totally blanked. He watched ndn walk past, down his drive and into the house and he didn't look at DP or acknowledge him at all. Guess we've really pissed him off hey!
