Wine o'clock here as soon as the overexcited bouncing 4, 2 and 1 year old come down off their shared bath hysteria and go the fuck to sleep Grin ! Envy.

BigPigLittlePig · 15/11/2013 19:38

How's the house looking yw??

YellowWellies · 15/11/2013 19:40

Isles it sounds like he is trying to use the subject of safety to push your buttons. Nice man Envy . Ignore and think of February. As Pidj says maybe push him towards walks rather than drives.

And happy birthday to Pidj I got thoroughly confused earlier and thought it was R rather than his Mum's birthday. There's a ton of Scorpio mums on this thread Smile .

YellowWellies · 15/11/2013 19:41

BP thanks to fish and chips for tea and a gluttonous border terrier lurking under the high chairs it doesn't look too bad actually!

Passmethecrisps · 15/11/2013 19:47

Evenin wimmins.

Wine a plenty for pp!

We have quite a busy weekend ahead. Up early for a 3.5 hour drive down to DH's folks to get there in time for a funeral. I will entertain p while DH attends then we will all go to the tea. Granny will whip p up into a manic frenzy. DH and I am hoping to sneak out to the pub at some point but we will see!!

PurplePidjin · 15/11/2013 19:49

Dp is working tomorrow so we'll probably go to the church craft fair, then sunday afternoon tea at my folks' with the family. Might suggest dp takes R running on sunday morning, he can see his mates from the club and having R in the buggy means he does a 3-5 mile fast walk instead of a 5-7 mile knackering run and is fit to enjoy the rest of the day. I will also bake R a cake to take to bf group on Tuesday. I was amazed i made it to 6 months, a year of bf is one of my proudest achievements - along with actually successfully raising a child this far!

YW I'm today, R is Tuesday, it is pretty confusing Thanks

PetiteRaleuse · 15/11/2013 19:51

I am having a glass of local white wine with a homemade-but-not-by-me quiche Lorraine :)

Passmethecrisps · 15/11/2013 19:51

I have just gone back to read your post isles. I find his logic and manner with you astonishing. Leave this one and start crossing off days on your calendar.

Oh and DH took p swimming again today (no nappy mishaps this time) and he said she suddenly got very excited when she saw another little girl - all squealing and waving. It's a wee girl from CM who squealed and waved back. Her mum came over and said that her wee one (almost 2yrs) keeps asking if p can come to play. Feels lovely to think she has made a wee chum

Passmethecrisps · 15/11/2013 19:56

pp for your achievement. It is quite something and you haven't had it easy. Enjoy that bottle of bubble.

pr

Love fish and chips yw! I was trying to wave at your nephew through the window but he was having none of it not a stalker

BigPigLittlePig · 15/11/2013 19:58

Ah pass that's lovely! There's a little girl at Fs nursery who looks like the illustrated Sophie in the BFG (big glasses on a dinky little soul with a serious face) who LURVES F and is always asking if she can cuddle her. She was most disgruntled one day when her cuddle was interrupted by my appearing.

Have just unhemmed, and then pinned up, some trousers, for my first ever attempt at using a sewing machine to hem something. Sadly this task has to wait until tomorrow as would likely rouse the girls if done tonight. Am excited/soiling myself in case I ruin said trousers, in equal measure.

What was VQs gift? I'm intrigued. And also intrigued by what GT imagined I would look like!

Elizadoesdolittle · 15/11/2013 19:58

Another confused one here. I said happy birthday to R instead of you pidj so sorry and happy birthday Wine There are a lot of quiche mummies born in november too.

Tomorrow it's my god daughters birthday party and then I'm off out for a nice meal with my NCT friends. On Sunday DH has to work but not for long so is taking DD1 with him. She loves going into his office. He'll then take her for lunch and perhaps for a stroll along the southbank. I intend to rest and probably nurse a bit of a hangover. Just hope E behaves!

Hmmm so I've just watched the end of a programme on channel 4 about midwives in the central afriacan republic and now I see it's children in need night. Cheerful tele tonight then!

BigPigLittlePig · 15/11/2013 20:00

Eliza I meant to say, what fab news about E being discharged - that must be such an enormous weight off your shoulders! She looks so happy and healthy in the most recent photo on fb, she's obviously thriving now, and just destined to be dainty Smile

Elizadoesdolittle · 15/11/2013 20:03

I keep spotting gifts for several quiche babies. Making a mental list of things I can get. Read a lovely book to DD1 tonight that she got from the library. Would be perfect for a couple of quiche babies that I can think of. Am very excited to see who I get to buy for.

YellowWellies · 15/11/2013 20:04

I actually can't bear Children in Need Blush I gave money to J's nursery collect but the TV is shite - Comic Relief is a giggle, Live Aid has tunes but Children in Need is just overegged pathos and cheese. Yes I am a bad person Blush .

Sophia if you need a hand about the turbine / environmental health complaint - I do a lot of wind farm planning stuff and am happy to help if it becomes a formal objection. But whinging old duffers don't tend to win these things in the long term xxx

Elizadoesdolittle · 15/11/2013 20:06

Ah thanks bplp Smile

YellowWellies · 15/11/2013 20:06

Woo yes I meant to give a big hi five to E too Eliza that is such amazing work you've done to get her here. Hope you're feeling vair proud Smile .

YellowWellies · 15/11/2013 20:08

Pass I'm sorry I missed you tonight I had bear, niece and pup in the kitchen trying to organise a snack with the woofer half inching it..... would have been lovely to say halloooooo Smile

Elizadoesdolittle · 15/11/2013 20:13

Thank you so much. It was all E's doing though. She's a little superstar. I tend to agree about children in need yw. I was just thinking what on earth can they fill 6 hours plus of. I'm all for raising money, I really am but jeez what rubbish TV!

PurplePidjin · 15/11/2013 20:22

None of us have had it easy, we should all be proud of our awesome achievement of Getting This Far

I love books, I'm starting a singing, signing and story session locally after Christmas on a day with no other groups, so that would be my go-to for SS. Easily posted abroad too Wink

ValiumQueen · 15/11/2013 20:24

The best bit of the gift was the suppositories Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 15/11/2013 20:32

:o

ValiumQueen · 15/11/2013 20:37

Just heard MIL inoperable and incurable. Fuck Hmm she is only 64.

PetiteRaleuse · 15/11/2013 20:41

No! So sorry to hear that. :( poor all of you Flowers

BigPigLittlePig · 15/11/2013 20:42

Thanks VQ - no words that are appropriate. Only lots and lots of Thanks and probably some Wine too xxx

PurplePidjin · 15/11/2013 20:44
