Ah ha, Sweet Pea, welcome back. I do remember you under your previous name. It's good that you found us again. :-)

And thank you, Madame. It's been OK so far. If tiring! But barely any morning sickness which is good as I was quite sick with Amy.

Just counting down to the 20 week scan now, then I might even feel properly pregnant. :-)

Mrs81 · 10/02/2014 07:39

Oh pinkbear, I'm so sorry about your mum. I hope she is doing ok and I also hope you are ok too. You're def due an easier spell from 2014 soon!!

Congratulations to MrsBri and Sweetpea Grin Fingers crossed for straightforward easy pregnancies for you both xx

Thankyou whoever it was who suggested size 3+ nappies. A bugger to find but have transformed things for us. I wish all the nappy brands did them but right now I'd rather not buy eco nappies and sleep more!

AlohaMama · 10/02/2014 08:19

welcome back littlemiss/sweetpea. and congratulations. and congratulations to you too MrsBri!! I was wondering when the next round of pregnancies would start being announced! Dont' expect any news this end, I think we are happy with our 2.

so sorry to hear about your mum pinkbear, particualrly with everythign else going on in your family, what a tough time for you all.

we all have stinking colds here. on the plus side dd has slept through the pst 3 nights (other than 1 visit per night to shove a dummy back in). Let's hope this is a pattern that continues...

pinkapples · 10/02/2014 11:24

Congrats to the pregnant ladies!

Still on 4 bottles a day here but 3 meals and puddings

2 teeth so teeth brushing is going well Grin

No crawling but we have walking! Holding 2 hands for now but it won't be long before she's off on her own Blush

Omg how did our babies get so big so quick it'll be 1st birthdays soon!

Mrs81 · 10/02/2014 12:03

Walking?!?! Crumbs. We have a bit of rolling and backwards crawling thus far. That's terrifying enough! Off to Ikea this week to get some baby-proofing stuff Confused

GingerMaman · 10/02/2014 12:08

Congrats on all your pregnancies! You surely are all brave women Smile

How many times do your LOs wake up at night? My DD wakes up every two hours or every hour. I have been trying to figure out why but can't seem to find out.

Also, does anyone's LO have milk abc soya allergy too? Thd peadetrician said it was ok for me to carry on having milk and soya, but I've stopped raw milk. I'm just wondering what others are doing?

Mrs81 · 10/02/2014 12:48

Gingermaman - ds has a suspected dairy and egg allergy. GP (and also doc at hospital) advised that neither ds or I eat those things (nor soya) for as long as I'm bf-ing. I thought it was widely understood that proteins etc pass through breastmilk Hmm Maybe worth checking on the Allergy boards on mn...

SweetPeaPods · 10/02/2014 13:10

Pink ds is pretty good at walking too if you hold his hands. He hasn't mastered walking with the baby walker though, he just wants to eat the handle!
Ds wakes maybe once at night and I bring him in with me. Which I know I need to stop but can't! He's a monkey for going to bed though, still awake at 10pm last night.

SunnyL · 10/02/2014 13:19

Pregnant? Again? Faints

No no no no no - will be a while before we go for baby #2. But many congratulations to you both - I have nothing but admiration for you guys.

Pink - DH's mum had a stroke a few years ago. She recovered very well - fingers crossed your mum has the same result. Positive mental attitude will help - as will cuddles from a gorgeous grandchild.

We're not walking but she is pulling herself up to stand in the bath. I think we may have a child who bypasses crawling and goes straight to walking. There is a Baby sale on in Asda this week with cheap stair gates etc for anyone who is looking to babyproof.

Last night was a bit rough. She normally wakes once in the night but last night was 10pm, 12pm, 2am, and 6 am. She woke up crying every time which is so unlike our Lil. Normally she giggles when she wakes up.

hedgehogy · 10/02/2014 14:46

Congrats sweetpea and MrsBri Grin

I'm pretty sure DD will go straight to walking. Thankfully she's happy sitting and playing for the time being.

AlohaMama · 10/02/2014 15:29

Walking babies? Goodness me. Mind you DS was an expert cruiser at 8 or 9 months and would walk all around the furniture, but it took another 3 months before he actually walked unaided. I dont' see DD making any attempts yet though.

pinkbear82 · 10/02/2014 16:40

Thank you everyone, things seem to be going in the right direction with Mum, so as long as that continues I think she may do just fine. Family stubbornness is a bloody useful thing sometimes.

If I could sleep I think I would be dealing with everything much better. So much going on I just can't sleep. Dd still tends to wake every 2 hours anyway, so when you can't re settle by time I probably could, I'm looking at the clock thinking by time I settle she'll be waking....

The last few days dd has been pulling herself up and also kneading lots in her crib and cot. I think we need to move the cot base down a bit and also try and get her sleeping in there again. We started, hit a rough patch and reverted back to her crib/co sleeping. Must get onto the cot sleeping again.

pinkapples · 10/02/2014 16:44

Yea no crawling here at all lots of movement but no crawling I don't think she'll bother now which is nice and how I prefer it Grin

Theiah doesn't really wake up now we've had 3 weeks 7.30-6.30am (when I get up for work) if she does get up it's like 4/4.30am and it's only to e tucked back in

SweetPeaPods · 10/02/2014 16:48

Pink that's good to hear about your mum.
We are exactly the same on cot situation. Ds was in cot then got poorly so now back in crib and co-sleeping. Must get him back in cot as he tried to roll over in crib the other night and bumped his head.
