Congratulations GT Grin and welcome to the world miniGT2!

So Envy You done fantastically well. Enjoy your newborn snuggles and when you are home and settled I would love to see a photo or two.

Passmethecrisps · 27/09/2013 19:31

Wonderful news mini-GT. How lovely to have another little quichelette!

Sounds like a lovely day sophia

YellowWellies · 27/09/2013 19:43

Sophia I luff granache or garnacha - tis amazeballs! What a lovely bloke Smile .

PP you're spot on with the second breakfast!

ChasingDaisy · 27/09/2013 19:45

Can I ask a birthday related question please? I want to get O some of those foam shapes that stick to the bath when they're wet but I'm struggling to find any. Any ideas?

applepieinthesky · 27/09/2013 19:49

There's lots on Amazon chasing. Search for foam bath letters.

applepieinthesky · 27/09/2013 19:51

Or foam bath shapes. There's some cute animal ones here

ChasingDaisy · 27/09/2013 19:59

Thanks apple, I was searching for the wrong thing!

Pikz · 27/09/2013 20:02

I second PP and the breast feeding clinics. They taught me how to express got the tongue tie sorted and kept me express feeding for 5 months when it just wouldn't work.

Where can I get little wobble wibble egg toys?

PetiteRaleuse · 27/09/2013 20:05

pikz I had forgotten about your superhuman expressing for 5 months that was amazing.

PetiteRaleuse · 27/09/2013 20:08

Other than Monday when DH got home early so I could go and wait for over 2 hours at the doctor's he has not been back before 9 all week. He was supposed to get home early this evening but got held up again :(

I never drink alone but the second he walks through the door a corkscrew will be in his hands and the white wine in the fridge will be flowing.

applepieinthesky · 27/09/2013 20:20

Think I may have seen them in Sainsburys too chasing. They had loads of bath toys in the store I went into last week.

Pikz · 27/09/2013 20:27

Yep chasing I got mine in sainsburys

Have just been covered in a 9oz bottle mixed with 20 tons of mucous

Sophiathesnowfairy · 27/09/2013 20:28

Too much of the aforementioned garnacha I fear yw

Envious of Gt s newbie snuggles.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 27/09/2013 20:29

Oh they are good chasing the girls had so e animal ones from ELC I think. You match the babies with the mummy. They lived them for years.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 27/09/2013 20:30

Oh deAr. Loved. Wine fingers.

Off for wallow in bath.

Kyz · 27/09/2013 20:43

Evening all :) how is the little bundle gt?

Hey meals!

Thanks bry what I've been doing is offering solids and then if by lunch he still isn't eating anything I offer a bottle. He has one in the morning and drank 7oz of that today and managed a bit of lunch and a nice portion of tea, plus bed time 8oz so not too bad. He cried at bed time again and at his second nap but not for too long and I did comfort him because it would've broken my heart not to.

Aww hopefully the duck is alright ditsy so nice of you to look after him

Happy birthday to your dd sophia :)

Does sound like last night was good chasing am loving your current attitude :D

Well done to you and your dh madame :) det you're doing fantastically with yours!

Thanks fruit he is normally such a good boy and it'd be a coincidence if he was being 'naughty' when he's poorly.

Wow det you've been busy today!!

Well done gt you've made me super broody :) I got a new baby today though. Only it's an iPhone 5s so not quite the same lol. Enjoy your snuggles with little lo :)

pikz I've always wondered how to offer stuff on toast bar cheese. What do you do? I am sure lo would lob it all at the floor, he can't feed himself with a spoon much less anything else :/ no idea how to do stuff on toast! I thought beans on toast might be good.

Sounds like a lovely day sophia and what a nice old man :)

Got ours in tesco chasing

Sounds tough pr :(

Erm, today, e has been quite smiley and ok, eaten more than yesterday. Not much to report!

applepieinthesky · 27/09/2013 20:46

Oh dear pikz

Waiting for DP to get home and our Indian to be delivered. Wonder which will arrive first? We have an expensive month ahead (car tax, MOT, Center Parcs) so need to be careful with the pennies but you've got to have a little treat on payday hey?

PurplePidjin · 27/09/2013 20:57

On toast: hummus, marmite, scrambled egg, beans, spaghetti hoops, boursin/philly, pureed fruit :)

Kirrin · 27/09/2013 20:59

Sounds like you had a lovely day sophia :)

Yes yes to pay day treats apple

My house is a tip - I'm tempted to just get a big black sack and start filling it! I'm always full of enthusiasm for things I'm going to do in the evening once the girls are in bed, and then I come downstairs from doing bedtime and it's nearly nine, I have steam coming out of my ears and I haven't even done the basic cleaning/tidying stuff so my ideas get shelved and never get done. One day!

Kyz · 27/09/2013 21:15

Ohh apple I could just eat a curry!! Mmmmm

All fab ideas for on toast pp and I've tried some of those because they don't fall off eg marmite. But will beans or spaghetti not fall off the toast when lo picks it up?

I bet I'm being really dense aren't i!

Pikz · 27/09/2013 21:20

Kyz thank god for your summaries. I realise how much I've forgotten when I come to post.

Happy birthday mini fairy Grin

Donna yep egg gone down but a purple forehead... Oops! How is bump?

Well done det and madam on weight loss!

See and already my mind is blank again!

Kyz I cut the toast into say 8 triangles and I spread the hoops over each bit and then I help him a little by holding the toast whilst he takes bites and then he pincer picks hoops he's dropped off his tray!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 27/09/2013 21:24

I have O hummus sandwiches yesterday and he loved them. We are on a chickpea fest in our house at mo!

Pikz · 27/09/2013 21:27

Hummus and philly sarnies always a big hit here!

YellowWellies · 27/09/2013 21:33

Kirrin that's me on an evening. Can't wait til the bear is in nursery two days a week and I can get stuff done. Oh bollocks I'm likely to sit on my arse and MN aren't I?!

applepieinthesky · 27/09/2013 21:38

Nom nom nom! Amazing curry, Strictly, DS fast asleep in his cot. Bliss. Simple things..

Might try DS on hummus tomorrow. I'm sure he will love it.

I keep thinking of GT having newborn cuddles. The squidgeyness and that newborn smell Envy Envy

PR that sounds tough. Is he home now?

GT Envy Envy I'm so jealous!
