Madame I think O would be unusual in taking so little. I wouldn't drink Nutramigen either Grin.

He was draining the 3 bottles a day up til about 2 weeks ago maybe? Then I started giving a snack instead of the late afternoon bottle. So he didn't have it.

Then he stopped draining the bottles and having 6oz twice a day. Occasional 5-6oz in the afternoon. He's had it twice in the 2 weeks I'd say.

So this morning he had 6oz. And that was it...

I'm definitely going to sort him out calcium drops. The dietician said it is no problem about his milk intake reducing. Just give the drops. So I'm not worried.

I kinda expect this shit of O now. Hmm He always does things his own way, no matter what I do. I had to fight the bottles and dummies off DS1! Mind you, DS1 fecking slept.

Swings and roundabouts eh?!

I am going to blame Brockles green lentil soup for O falling to sleep at bedtime! She made us a lovely soup today, and O took a good few spoonfuls! I was very impressed! I wasn't sure he would even try it! Thank you for a lovely time Brockle!

Checking in before bed.... My app says he's been asleep 59 mins now!

I will update.. All night no doubt and will be talking to myself but if he's up and crying I need to be doing something!

ChasingDaisy · 17/09/2013 22:30

O is still on 4 bottles a day. Two 7oz and two 6oz. Although the only one he tends to drain is the morning one.

PurplePidjin · 17/09/2013 22:34

Yay Izzy!!!

GTbaby · 17/09/2013 22:49

Lo gets up has 7oz. Breaky an hour later. Then naps after playing. Last few days he will have lunch at 1ish the 5oz formula at 3. Dinner at 6 then bed time 7oz formula at 7.

When he was sick last week he was feeding asleep with 5oz for his nap then having another feed when he woke. But think it may have been a comfort thing.

Driving home from date night. Haven't managed to read the thread all day thanks to a 3hour nap at noon Smile

MsJupiterJones · 17/09/2013 23:06

Great news Pidj!

Following Izzy's night with eager anticipation - go J! Good luck Izzy!

I've noticed all the quiche bedtime routines start much earlier than ours as we start bath at 7pm so he is usually asleep between 8-8.30. It's difficult though as I often wouldn't be home from work till 7pm and DH & I take it in turns. L doesn't seem tired until then although maybe I am just not reading it right and he is taking a long time to get to sleep because he is overtired? Hmm.

Stunt I had forgotten to bring a dummy with me on our trip to the shops/naptime today so I took heart from your experience and thought well maybe he'll fall asleep without it... Ended up buying a new one as he was shrieking like a banshee in Sainsburys and I thought he might shatter the glass jars with his soprano squeals Confused Blush

izzybizzybuzzybees · 17/09/2013 23:16

Don't shout at me for posting but I'm only just in bed. Naughty girl I am was surfing the net for Xmas bargains!

He is STILL ALSEEP!! 1HR45MINS AND COUNTING!

Right now that's done I've done my own bedtime routing and and off to sleep. No doubt he'll wake the minute I start to drift off!

PurplePidjin · 17/09/2013 23:25

Hurrah, Izzy :o

Shitter here. He's been shouting since 22:35. Calpol then and now nappy change which has shut him up instantly Hmm wish dp wouldn't fuck about with fucking night nappies they're fucking crucial

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:30

Well I'm back. He managed just under 3 hours which is good. Except it doesn't feel it as hes currently screaming his heart out Sad Sad Sad

I'm ok the first wait, so 2 mins of screaming to go so far.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:33

Just been back in. 5 mins now til next check in.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:36

He's going quiet now, with random small shouts almost every 30 seconds. Very odd Hmm Hmm Hmm Hmm

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:37

Ok were back to shout screaming hystericalness. Dh woke up rolled over and is asleep again. 30 seconds to next check in.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:40

Ten minutes now. The bloody alarm on my phone timer woke Dh yet the screaming child didn't.

James is silent now after 2 mins screaming and foot slamming! Hmmmm.... Has he went to sleep??

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:40

That would be a no!! Sad Sad

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:42

And he's quiet again with 6.5mins until I'm to do the next check in.... Im scared to go to sleep until he's actually quiet for maybe ten minutes in total!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:43

Small shout.....

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:44

Bigger shout cry now but and the poor mite sounds fed up...

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:45

4 minutes til check in if needed.... Im thinking I'm going to make him worse if I need to go in....

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:51

He kept crying out but timer has went off now after ten min and he just cried again so have went in for check in and now on a 15 min wait. Rest of check ins (if necessary will be 15 mins). We didn't get any further than this earlier as he went to sleep..........

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:54

3 minutes down... 3 pathetic teeny shouts....

Im starting to feel pretty alone... And also concerned that you guys will regret me coming back to the thread what with all the clogging it up!

Big cry there but silence again.....

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 00:59

He's been quiet for 5 minutes.... It's 6 minutes til my next 'allowed' check in. That sounds cruel doesn't it Sad Sad Sad Sad

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 01:06

Ok.... He's quiet.... And it's been fifteen mins since last check in so I 'could' go of he cries.... I hope he's sleeping...... Will give it another 5 mins or so before I try to go back to sleep.....

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 01:15

Ok... I think it's safe for me to go back to sleep............... Wonder how long he'll manage to sleep for this time.....

I may not manage to fall asleep... DH is snoring like a warthog!

Kyz · 18/09/2013 01:16

Just checking in to see how you're doing izzy fc he's asleep now :) sounds like you're doing fab!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/09/2013 01:19

I just lay down and he made a teeny cry noise. By time I stood up to do check in he had stopped so I haven't went in.... Not sure if that was right thing to do or not??! I figured cry was so teeny that checking in would only annoy him?! Argh! So many wee things to think about and what if questions?!
