Glad you had a lovely day pidj

Neither of us are religious so we had a 'Matilda Day' instead.

FuckingP has been acting like a wankstain all day. I am soooo glad he is going to work tomorrow. and not at all pre-menstrual, nuh uh

YW I couldn't quite believe next door's newborn was the same weight as M when I saw her. M was NEVER that diddly!! What have they called her? Pass on my congrats ! x

BigPigLittlePig · 15/09/2013 20:48

Love the idea of newborn cuddles. Dhs cousin has just had twins at 35 weeks - 4lb10 and 5lb 3 (which is what F weighed). Wold love to see them as suspect I would be Shock at the size of them, and how much F has grown. Both are doing well but in SCBU so will have to hold my horses.

Pidj really glad you had such a lovely day.

Loving the idea of hi-5s and humpty dumptys. Fs current trick is to crawl to something inappropriate (newspapers are a particular fave) then applaud herself!

Passmethecrisps · 15/09/2013 20:51

No applauding either.

C'mon p! Do something other than move to places you are not supposed to be!

ChasingDaisy · 15/09/2013 20:54

Yep pass, O still hasn't managed forward crawling yet and I can't see him walking this side of his birthday. Isn't it amazing how they all started off like the newborn YW met today and 9/10 months on they are all so different? They all have such distinct personalities already.

BigPigLittlePig · 15/09/2013 20:56

LOL pass she'll probs be a proper conversationalist instead of all these silly clapping tricks!

Have got loads of painful deep blisters appeared all over the palms of my hands, and a few on my elbows/kness. Plus a mouthful of ulcers. Not sure wtf this is, but am off to the GP tomorrow. Can't hold a fecking pen so work could be interesting.

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 20:56

Bugger. I knew I had forgotten something. Adds 'Christen the boy child' to my never-ending list of things to do. DD1 was 8 weeks old, DD2 was exactly a year old.

A good day here, frantically sorting out my crap and DHs crap and baby stuff to sell etc. I now have the makings of an office, and so does DH. We tried sharing and it did not work.

Pass I too have been cooking for the freezer. Nothing quite as fancy, but J now has 20 tubs of lentil soup and 10 of savoury mince in the freezer. Cooked a gammon joint too. We had the soup for lunch and DD2 has asked to have it every day for nursery Grin

DH just put J to bed for the second time ever.

Chasing I felt a bit sad when you said about your lovely bro visiting. Obviously very happy for you (and he is rather attractive too Wink) but it got me thinking about my brothers. Neither one have met J yet Sad

Passmethecrisps · 15/09/2013 20:58

Sounds awfully like hand, foot and mouth disease bp

Passmethecrisps · 15/09/2013 21:01

My brother has met p once. I also feel a bit sad about the distance (both physical and well, just our rural jockness really) between my family and my family.

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 21:01

BP it doesn't sound like chicken pox as that would be the obvious cause.

J managed to open the Ikea toy kitchen today and has the black eye to prove it. The girls still struggle to open the doors.

He now has a BT monitor like yours Pass. I miss the pendulum Hmm but I can hear him snuffling Smile

BigPigLittlePig · 15/09/2013 21:02

Well I wondered on Friday when one appeared. But where in the name of fuckity fuck have I got that from??

NB. Clever though the quiche is, I don't expect anyone to actually provide me with an answer to that.

Do we think it means I shouldn't go to work, or touch patients?? please say yes

Passmethecrisps · 15/09/2013 21:03

Good old BT monitor. Ours is now stuck together with tape. It is about 9 years old now though. Walls are like paper, mind you.

Love a good lentil soup. Nothing beats it.

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 21:03

It does Pass. I have never actually seen it, but it is very common apparently.

Passmethecrisps · 15/09/2013 21:04

Def not bp. I honestly think it sounds like hand, foot and mouth. Watch F as she is likely to get it. Probably just contact with a patient or another child at nursery.

Dr Passme signs you off for at least 4 days.

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 21:06

The buttons have fallen off ours so I need to turn it on and off with a hair clip.

BP deffo a day off work. I am sure none of your patients or colleagues would appreciate it.

Passmethecrisps · 15/09/2013 21:08

By the way. Has anyone seen sainsbury's new range of clothes for the miniature people? Covered in owls and pussy cats. Awesome! Bought p some nice owl covered leggings and matching t-shirts just to start me off.

Is it weird that I was a bit sad to be buying her 6-9 knowing that she still doesn't actually fit most of her 6-9 stuff yet? She wears it because I am sick of the sight of her 3-6 stuff but the 3-6 still fits perfectly.

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 21:10

The kids have played together really nicely today. Mostly. J is crawling really fast and can turn quickly. He is also pulling himself up with ease. The play pen was in the middle of the room for safe dumping, and they were chasing each other around for hours Grin He adores his sisters and they adore him. It all felt worth it today Smile

BigPigLittlePig · 15/09/2013 21:12

Thanks wise quichesters. VQ you remind me a little of my mum, you just seem to be vair sensible and know everything xx

We spent the afternoon at our best friends house. Their 6 yr old boy said "F gives the best kisses". DHs response? "He'd better not be saying that in 20 yrs time" Grin

Sounds as though you had a lovely day chasing. I love seeing my not that little brother, and F lurves him too. He also has facial fur, perhaps it's the beards that they like!?

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 21:13

Pass at least you are getting good wear out of her stuff. It is frustrating when they wear something a couple of times and then are too fat for it Grin Seriously though, she is small but perfectly formed. Have you had her weighed recently? Are any of the professionals concerned? How is she doing with her solids?

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 21:14

BP I am probably a similar age to your mum as well Grin

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 21:15

And I certainly do not know everything Grin

GTbaby · 15/09/2013 21:17

YW I have even thinking same. As of PIL bei g back as goi g to the loo is easier! Lol I don't have I go with te door open an hope no one pops over (all bils n their wives have keys).
However was a lil miffed at mil talking to fil (they were talking in ear shot, I wasn't eavesdropping!) about going back to India in a month! They only got back yesterday!

Oh well.

BP that sounds a little worrying. And think its best to avoid work until you know what it is.

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 21:17

I am sensible though mostly. Although wearing heels to the interview was not sensible. It is a year since I fractured my ankle and I have been pain free for a few weeks. Hurts like a bitch now. I am gonna have to be a sensible shoes person from herein Hmm

BigPigLittlePig · 15/09/2013 21:18

Fucksticks. I think F has had hand foot & mouth disease. It all fits. She lost her voice, had some ulcers in her mouth - and screamed in pain if you went near her mouth. She didn't itch the spots which were only on her legs, feet, bum and hands

Fuck.

We could still get the pox. Fuck.

Passmethecrisps · 15/09/2013 21:26

Fo sho vq! I do genuinely appreciate her slow growth whenever I pop her in the Boden dungerees!

I had her weighed at 7 months I think. Maybe 8. She was 15Ib. She has a paed app a week on Tuesday so she will get weighed then. She eats really well I think and is on 3 bottles a day. I just worry a bit because you can see her ribs and I am not sure but I think her face looks thinner. I think she just doesn't take in enough calories to make up for her movement. She needs cake!

Fuck bp. That makes perfect sense.

MadameGazelleIsMyMum · 15/09/2013 21:31

pidj sounds like a lovely dayGrin

vq nice when they play nicely

pass worth getting her weighed again to give you some peace of mind?

bp boo to illnessesHmm

We had a lovely 4.15am start to the day. Back to work tomorrow. Made the mistake of logging on this evening which has put me in a right grump.

and the fecking toenail is fucking infected a-fucking-gain and I have actually left it alone recently and I am off to haggis-land to climb the mountain this weekend. But it's all ok as am currently in massive denial
