fruitpastilles · 31/08/2013 16:39

Oh or do you mean the next car seat?

TheDetective · 31/08/2013 16:40

It's very heavy and hard to push isn't it? Don't blame you for selling!

Sola is good though! I want a Maclaren quest. It's so light. I just don't like any of the fabrics though. Confused

TheDetective · 31/08/2013 16:40

Pram lol!

fruitpastilles · 31/08/2013 16:47

Yeah it's very heavy, it's really hard to steer aswell, even 2 handed! That's what I get I suppose for buying online and not trying it out.
I do like the sola, love it in fact, but the one I bought was old and the seat sticks now when I try to recline it, not good when S is asleep!
I've read nothing but good reviews about the bjcm that's why I want one. I've not looked at any maclarens to be honest, I might have a nose later though!

ChasingDaisy · 31/08/2013 17:16

I love my sola.

Just sat down for the first time all day. Have about 10mins until Oscar is back. I sent my dad home after about half an hour as he was driving me mad and did all the flat pack myself Smile No rest for the wicked though, got a ton of ironing and a food shop to do when Oscar is in bed.

Lily311 · 31/08/2013 17:50

I did the same with my dad. He annoyed me and I told him to go. Has non date guy turned up?

Pikz · 31/08/2013 18:12

Just took the jumperoo down as L climbed up it and used it to climb the patio doors and now has a black eye. I was literally having a wee!! This baby thinks he's Spider-Man!!

YellowWellies · 31/08/2013 18:46

I love my sola, am planning on a nipper double. My sis has the BJCM and adores it (thought it was a p&t) the one hand fold is amazing. GT will pm you x

ChasingDaisy · 31/08/2013 18:57

He was going to pop round but I finished it before he had the chance Grin He is coming round tomorrow night though to help set up my telly and to drink bubbly with me Smile

applepieinthesky · 31/08/2013 19:28

Back home from the hospital with C. He has a viral infection and temp of 38.5. We have to try to get him to take an ounce of fluid every half hour then if he takes it give him an ounce every hour. If he's not taking it after 4 hours we have to go back to a&e so they can put him on an IV drip Sad He's probably had around 2 ounces all day and half a dozen spoonfuls of food.

Pikz · 31/08/2013 19:53

Oh apple I'm so sorry big hugs xx

YellowWellies · 31/08/2013 20:24

Apple hugs to you and C. Fingers crossed he ups his fluid asap and stops scaring his poor Mumma.

MM I hope you're OK and he's not charmed you that his violence was your fault and that he'll change. I know your love for M is so strong that you can break the cycle of bad father figures for her and show her a healthy relationship. But whatever you do we'll love and support you.

I had a lovely day at a pal's wedding. After years of dating exciting bastards / emotional fuckwits she got together with the best pal on whose shoulder she'd cried for years. They're made for each other. He's another kind and good hearted guy who won fair maiden through just being fucking lovely. He wrote her a poem and everyfink. I had a wee tear in my eye. It was a lovely handmade on a budget, arts and crafty, marquee in the garden, potluck food, all the family chipped in to help kinda wedding. My favourite type. And cos he's a 'wegy it was a free bar Grin which my twin sister on a childless day exploited to the max! I only had one mojito. But have had a really bloaty belly all week and am paranoid I might need to POAS! First cycle preggers would be exciting given the puppy arrives in 3 weeks. Hmm Grin VQ feel free to facepalm!!!! But I've not had any trippy dreams / sore boobs and they're my usual first signs. So probably not.

Oh at the wedding we sat next to a nutritionist whose DD2 has CMPI (though she has outgrown a bad colicky reaction by 13 months but still snotty). Apparently snot is a classic dairy / soy intolerance symptom. Only 40% outgrow it by one (80% by age 3) so it could be slower than I'd hoped. Oh oh oh and she told me there is a prescription only weaning product called neocate spoon (basically a CMPI friendly non soy 'yogurt' substitute) which you can mix with puree to make puds / fake from frais. I'm off to the paed on Monday so will be asking for it Smile

BigPigLittlePig · 31/08/2013 20:26

Apple I hope you can convince the wee dude to drink something. It must be horrid for you all Sad

Pikz oh dear oh dear Confused

Chasing I'm so glad to hear today has gone well. What furniture have you got left to construct?

Bus trip went ok, F dodged all naps, all morning, and got a bit shitty on the way home. She calmed herself by spending the second half of the journey sucking my cardigan. She ate more for tea tonight than I have ever seen her eat, living up to her nickname of little pig lol.

YellowWellies · 31/08/2013 20:27

VQ / Pass did anyone want that 'wot no dairy' fake yogurts? Have a case going spare after J decided after one pot that they ming Envy Envy Envy

ChasingDaisy · 31/08/2013 20:32

Apple Sad hope he's ok x

YW that sounds like a perfect wedding Smile I hope I get married one day. Been engaged twice, so third time lucky hey? Wink

MM keep talking to us x

pig all that is left is my dining table and coffee table. All the big stuff is done, thank god. I've just crashed out in bed watching X Factor and eating chocolate.

Tomorrow should be good, need to run one more load of boxes over in the morning, then out for sunday lunch before we officially move in tomorrow afternoon Smile Then once O is in bed, date guy is coming round to help me install my tv and drink bubbles Smile

YellowWellies · 31/08/2013 20:48

Chasing I was engaged twice - to frogs, my third was the prince. I just flogged one of the old engagement rings I found in my jewellery box Blush Blush Blush Blush heartless cow eh?!

ChasingDaisy · 31/08/2013 20:50

My first engagement ring isn't worth anything but the one from XP is worth a bit. I want O to have it but not sure whether to sell it and give him the money instead. It didn't come from a happy relationship but it did come from his parents' relationship.

BigPigLittlePig · 31/08/2013 21:30

Tricky one chasing. Perhaps with time, the decision will become clearer? Shall have some bubbly fanta tomorrow in a show of solidarity!

Oooh YW don't go keeping us in suspense! I think you're bonkers to embark on a 2nd baby already (that goes for all of you crazy ladies) - but then I'm a coward Grin.

Pikz · 31/08/2013 21:40

Pee YW peeeeeeeee

ValiumQueen · 31/08/2013 22:12

YW I would love those yogurts please. Thankfully they have. Long life on them. I have some sodding long life soya ones that I bought before the penny dropped. He is so snotty and has been since he was 10 days old. Perhaps it was not DD2s fault after all. Not yet set up the humidifier, but I collected it today.

Lots if hugs needed.

MM you have already had lots of sensible advice.

Stunt, I am concerned and wonder too if a bit of time apart might make him realise how precious his family is. If my DH had said that about J I think I would have shown him the door. I think he is a bit confused about what love is.

Chasing it is so lovely to hear of your exciting new life. We are so proud of you x

Pikz the man is a dick. I do hope life gets a bit easier for you soon.

Detective I would be furious if my DH did that with the bottles.

Pass where are you?

PR I miss you x

Madam work sounds utterly hideous, I am so sorry, and all on top of bad nights.

Erm......

And that was all from memory so I think I am feeling a bit better.

Waves at everyone else.

Kirrin · 31/08/2013 22:22

hope you're doing ok MM Stunt and Madam

pikz Shock I cannot believe that. Presumably you've now billed him for his time at hockey etc? He must owe you 6 months off by now.

apple how is he? Hope you are both doing ok. xx

when can you POAS YW ?! Fingers crossed for you.

((hugs)) to anyone else who needs them

YellowWellies · 31/08/2013 22:35

No idea when I can POAS will go check the calendar. Hmmm my last (ha only! since J) period started 15th July (waaah so long ago Shock !) so I can POAS anytime. Have to go to Boots tomorrow to collect J's omeprazole so will get a test. Rats wish I'd not had so much Wine Wine Wine on holiday Blush still on the bright side I've already been taking pregnacare for the calcium.

I'm missing PR and Pass too.

Stunt, Pikz I'd be proper Angry with your fellas nob jockeys Wink

VQ they're yours. Must sort out how to pass them to you. Any Scots fancy a Brew and a blether?

MM hope you're OK love xx

ChasingDaisy · 31/08/2013 22:42
