Would be better if 25:75 sp:a, the avocado was a bit overpowered with my 50:50mix. I may have eaten more than ds, and it was still warmish, not sure I'd want to try it cold.
Ds seemed to like it. maybe he doesn't have taste buds? Like pears HV thinks

Well it would appear kitten can roll too, she was just crying and I went in and she was on her back, turned her back, in 2 mins later and on her back again! Whether she knows what or how she did it tomorrow is another question! All quiet now.... Please not another bad night Hmm

AGnu · 23/09/2013 23:43

I remember Calf had a day or 2 at around 3m where he'd roll himself... Then he stopped for about 4m! I guess he'd just managed to accidentally flip himself a few times! Confused Runt is just at the stage where he rolls himself onto his side & seems to get stuck. He looks like he's wriggling his little legs to try & do something but he's not quite sure what! Grin

FrussoHathor · 24/09/2013 07:23

Morning. How were your nights? any better?
Ds kept waking and asking for food, by 4 is had enough and gave him another cover and rolled over and went back to sleep. poor ds Wink
He keeps rolling onto his front to sleep. And I know some of you ladies have front sleepers, but in my sleep deprived state I was getting worried, until I clicked; he can roll both ways and whichever way I put him he's going to move. then I went to sleep.
He's been awake since about 615 when DH went to work, not whinging, just awake talking to his mobile and sharing the love with his pink caterpillar he loooooves his caterpillar.

Horrendous for me! We had a wake at 11 tried to leave her but ended up feeding at 12 in the hope she would sleep through the rest, no chance! She woke at 3,4,5 and 6 at which point I've fed her and started the day, refused the other times so had about 4 hrs sleep in total! She's totally regressing then for the last two days is not having her milk properly in the day, big feed in the night, this morning as I'd refused she's had a huge milky feed so that's it now, the sleep training begins, ill probably not sleep for days but I'm bringing this to an end now! I can be tough just you watch Madame!

FrussoHathor · 24/09/2013 08:03

Oh no kitty Sad I hope your sleep training doesn't take too long.

FrussoHathor · 24/09/2013 09:15

Anyone else have a little bod that moans whilst feeding?

Lorelei353 · 24/09/2013 11:30

DS is still only feeding twice but is waking and helping and tossing and turning in between them so I'm getting up to resettle him a third time. He does haves cold right now though. So snuffly.

On the rolling front, he did roll from front to back bout three weeks ago and then didn't do it again until yesterday. Can't go from back to front yet though, so safe in the crib, although he doesn't have space anyway!

AGnu · 24/09/2013 14:01

Runt is definitely hitting the '4 month sleep regression' stage a few weeks early. The last few nights he's woken at some point between 2 & 6.30. I don't consider it to be 'morning' until at least 7.30. A couple of times it's not been him just randomly waking up but something disturbing him. On Saturday night it was Calf screaming for no apparent reason & then us having to read to him for ages. Eventually calmed Calf down & got him back to bed but Runt wouldn't settle without a feed. Last night it was entirely our fault. Somehow we just didn't get to bed until 2am! DH disturbed Runt while getting himself to bed so I had to be up even longer to feed him. I'm tired today!

kittykatsforever · 24/09/2013 14:26

It started at about 14/15wks here Agnu, Hmm there have been a few nights where she's slept through in that time but on the whole I've had to feed her once a night, in the last week there's been a 1 night with two, last night was just one at 12 as I classed the 6 feed as morning but she wanted it earlier! It's gone from bad to good to bad again so I'm going to try some controlled crying now don't hate me girls Hmm

AGnu · 24/09/2013 15:29

Shock But, but, but... kitty, don't you know she'll spontaneously combust if left alone while upset for more than 30 seconds?! Wink

FrussoHathor · 24/09/2013 15:56

agnu I'm sure it's 2 seconds. Wink
Oh deary me, there's a loud parent loud parenting badly across the street from me. She's really making a loud show of bossing him about. He's only about 3, and clearly tired, b/c he fell over and hurt himself, and she's telling him how bad he is at walking, and he can go in the buggy like a baby, and if he doesn't shut up they won't be going. Oh and she just walked past where he was stood and bumped him over, then told him off for getting in her way.
She's not local. This is a naice neighbourhood.
Maybe I should head over to aibu? I am seriously judgy today. But in my defence she was very very very loud.

OP posts:
kittykatsforever · 24/09/2013 18:46

Well we will just have to see if she survives the morning then Wink
Frus sounds very mean but I guess she may be having a bad day, I know I have today and being frazzled does make you more likely to snap at them however wrong

bringonthetrumpets · 24/09/2013 22:03

Oh man, I dread to think of what my neighborhood thinks of me when my boys are being monsters. not a quiet mum when thoroughly pissed off with two little boys

FrussoHathor · 24/09/2013 23:05

bring i'm not usually so judgy. Honest. She wasn't one of my neighbours, she parked her car in the street across the road from my house and walked somewhere. Which in itself is odd as there's nowhere to walk to. zilch, no shop/play park/bus/school, nothing except a prison, and that has a visitors carpark Hmm presumably she was visiting a friend in the street, but why she'd park anywhere other than outside their house is just confusing. Confused and she was super loud. Only time residents are that loud is the fishwife holler to call the dcs in from the green for tea.
It was just out of place.

I'm known to shout too. But she wasn't shouting, she was just very loud. Maybe she wasn't aware of how loud she was, like the people on the bus/train that have very loud conversations that you can't help but hear.

OP posts:
kittykatsforever · 25/09/2013 08:35

Kitten survived! Grin
She woke at 3:30 but no crying just little beeps and sucking her fingers, she then started crying at 4 I went in 3 times but didn't pick her up other then to turn her over again and shush her with a hand on her bum, she likes that, she went off again around 4:30 ish and woke up at 5:45 so we started the day, no food so an achievement of sorts!
Dh actually came in ( he's in the spare room to sleep) and said oh do you had from 9-3 so 6 hrs, you must feel on top of the world or some such thing, urr no on top of the world would be the 8/9 hours you've had Hmm

FrussoHathor · 25/09/2013 08:53

Morning. This constant night feeding is killing me. He has about 3-4 hours when he first goes down, and then seems to wake every hour.

OP posts:
FrussoHathor · 25/09/2013 08:54

Yay for kitten

OP posts:
FrussoHathor · 25/09/2013 09:47

Oh dear, I just caught myself in the act of baby canabalism. Wink gobbling the top of ds' rather delicious head.

OP posts:
kittykatsforever · 25/09/2013 10:38

Your a baby eater then frus? I love kissing kitten but never have the urge to kiss others babies really, I wonder why I do mine so much?!
Dd1 driving me crazy the last two days, seriously hair pulling out and I actually caught her being mean to kitten yesterday and pushing pressing on the top of her head while she was in the car seat Hmm she's not shown any cruelty before not even the slightest so don't know if she ment it meanly but you could see how much it hurt her and she squeeled in pain and even as I shouted her to stop rushing down the stairs she wouldn't until I pulled her away Hmm

kittykatsforever · 25/09/2013 10:38

Every hour is really tough, Hmm what does he do if you don't feed him?

Lorelei353 · 25/09/2013 11:20

Well done Kitty. I could do with a bit of that with DS. He slept until 2.30 then wanted a feed, but as usual woke an hour and a half after being out back down and needed settling (not feeding) but indinhave to pick hm p and rock him, then he woke for food an hour and a half after that.

frus that's so tough.

FrussoHathor · 25/09/2013 12:52

Only baby frus it would appear kitty I done remember wanting to gobble the dds. And I don't want to eat other peoples babies.
My friend is like it with all tiny babies. She says it's the smell.
I used to smell dds but never smelt the smell. ds has the smell But I can't describe it. It's a smell but it's not a smell.

kitty could dd be doing it for the reaction?

OP posts:
bringonthetrumpets · 25/09/2013 14:04

Yeah, I've never been one to want to eat anyone else's babies but my own. Even after cuddling loads of newborn babies. I've honestly never smelled "the smell" on other babies like I have with my own too either. Definitely only got eyes and a nose for my own kids.

kitty I was thinking the same as Frus, it's definitely for your attention. They are also little scientists at that age and she may be testing it out to see what will happen too. Lots and lots of talks about "nice touches" with the Ds's when they were younger. Now they just flat out punch and kick each other Hmm

Oh man, the 4-month waking plague has begun for us all. Sad Why, why does nature throw such a cruel thing into the loop?

Ok, I changed the settings on the video on fb, so it should work now. It's pretty cute, if I may say so myself. Grin

peardrop2 · 25/09/2013 14:36

I leave for 24hrs and I have so much to catch up on! Smile
