Just making stock as had roast dinner today, never tried before, it said to add parsnips and celery which I don't have but I've added carrots and onion to the carcass and water, any herbs or anything ( dried obviously) I should add to make it more flavourable as I can't add salt, what about pepper?

Not had slithery crawling yet. Just the odd toes pushing and then flipping over. Dd1 never crawled, and only rolled once, she just got up and walked. I can't remember dd2 moving at all

kitty a few peppercorns & some herbs would be good - maybe parsley, thyme or sage? I rarely make chicken stock because I hate boney chicken so only very occasionally buy a whole one to roast. I'm always saving vegetable peelings in the freezer to make veg stock though.

It did say to add parsley but fresh which I don't have, we rarely have chicken because I usually make it for 6 adults and 3 kids so I get a big beef joint, I just felt as it was there and I'm weening I didn't want to waste it

Hmm, note to self - if going for avocado and sweet potato mix, you need a lot more avocado than sweet potato or you really can't taste the avocado. How odd that sweet potato is such an over powering taste.
