Oh no stunt that's not good! Hope it feels better soon.

J has eventually taken 3oz of a bottle with much tears and clamping of mouth shut :-(

Bedtime for buzzy household. It's hot and I reckon j will wake up screaming after about ten minutes......

PurplePidjin · 18/07/2013 23:29

PR Petit Chou?

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/07/2013 23:49

Ok so fifteen minutes then! I'm down expressing milk as when he cried my boobs leaked! Expressing from one side and no doubt e end if dh settles him he will want milk when he next wakes.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/07/2013 23:50

I'm starting to think I'll need to switch to bottles fully as hes just not accepting the bottle when he knows boob is available... He will literally just wait and wait and wait.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 19/07/2013 00:14

Another ten mins in the cot before crying... This is gonna be a fun night!

itsnotyouitsMeals · 19/07/2013 00:52

Been dealing with rl ishoos so no time to post/catch up. Just wanted to wave to izzy and send J sleepy thoughts.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 19/07/2013 01:07

And we're up feeding now...

izzybizzybuzzybees · 19/07/2013 01:37

I'm just talking to myself here but he's back in cot... For now!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 19/07/2013 01:57

And I've just had to settle DD as well. She was coming into my room with a book that she wanted me to read!!

StuntNun · 19/07/2013 03:04

How do you feel about switching to formula Izzy? Do you think J would take it in the end? My J has been up and down all night as well, poor DH has been dealing with him because of my ankle but there has been a lot of swearing about it. Hmm I suspect we need a medication adjustment here as he has been on the same dose of ranitidine for two months. I suppose if I had switched to formula then I wouldn't have been hurting my J with my 'eggy' milk. I thought I was doing the best thing for him by breastfeeding but it didn't turn out that way. You can't keep going on like this Izzy. Something is badly wrong for his sleep to be so bad. If switching to formula was going to improve his sleep would that make the decision for you?

Up with DD again! stunt will reply coherently tomorrow! Or should I say later today!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 19/07/2013 04:05

And now I've just been up feeding James... He's back in cot again. Guess it's dds turn to be up next!

Kirrin · 19/07/2013 04:25

No where near as bad as your night izzy but I too have been up with DD1. First time she wanted milk and the second time I have no idea what she wanted - and I'm not sure she knew herself - but it involved a lot of loud whinging which threatened to wake DD2. Luckily it didn't but we are up feeding now. I am hoping against hope that the 5 am start doesn't happen this morning but I suspect I'll be disappointed.

Bummer on the ankle stunt Hope it heals quick.

Pikz · 19/07/2013 07:43

Pr L likes that and it seems a real comfort to him.

Izzy I am so sorry. I have no advice.

After a couple of horrible days LO slept til 6.30 and is playing happily

Sophiathesnowfairy · 19/07/2013 07:58

bp I always have had thoughts like that . About everything so I won't go I to them but at the moment is mainly DH is driving his boys toy car over to NI on the back of a truck in a couple of weeks, what if he crashes. I am having my small op next week, what if I die, what if o gets caught up in the flat sheet I put on top of the fitted sheet in case of com and suffocates...have now removed that sheet as he is moving around so much.....and so on.

It doesn't make sense as I am such a generally positive person and v happy, just a worrier. Have passed it on to DD1. None of the others care!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 19/07/2013 08:03

I am always bringing up the rear.

PetiteRaleuse · 19/07/2013 08:04

Morning all.

Woke up angry. I lust have been dreaming about a certain situation because I literally woke up with her supremely slappable smug face in my mind. Ugh.

So went and ate an ice cream. Cheered me up :)

Sophiathesnowfairy · 19/07/2013 08:11

izzy I too have no great advice as I am formula, but I am great at hugs.

kyz I have used the diet plan through Sainsburys, bizarre I know but has been great. You can play it how you like and choose A plan that suits you. I choose the feel fuller plan as I am always starving and I used their meal plans to kick start myself mixed with the food diary to keep an eye on my calories. I can also really recommend the Hairy Dieters book as well as the Greedy Girls Diet, which I think is a little better for summer. I am having risotto with seared scallops for tea to tonight.

I got an appreciation award from work yesterday! It is worth about £50 and I can choose from a long list of stuff. Last Thursday I got a bunch of flowers from them for some work i did, so I am feeling very loved at the mo. just goes to show that you don't necessarily get lost in mahoosive companies. Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 19/07/2013 08:12

pr ice cream for breakfast? How contrary! Grin

MissMummy1 · 19/07/2013 08:16

I feel awful saying this having scrolled through last night's chat, but noone in RL will understand the significance of this: M slept through!! 7-7, we've cracked it Grin Grin Grin Grin

If it helps I was awake almost every hour with the heat Confused

Izzy how do you feel about formula? I was devastated at the time but for us it was the best possible decision. I know when M was at her worst I survived on chocolate and sugary energy boosts. I have no idea how you are managing this withan exclusion diet too. Oh and do make sure you send them both to your parents tonight!!!

Bryzoan · 19/07/2013 08:17

Running late this morning - but just wanted quickly to send a coffee to izzy... And also to say you must be absolutely wiped out by now but I think you should push to be seen again. I'm worried that J isn't sleeping because he is uncomfortable or hurting, and that this will be feeding his oral aversion, etc. And you and he need sleep to function. I really feel for you at the moment, it is properly crap. I think you need to find the energy to stamp your feet and see the paeds again now though as just excluding foods from the allergy testing clearly hasn't solved the problem. Big very sympathetic hugs. You're doing so well just surviving but I do think you need more help now.

PetiteRaleuse · 19/07/2013 08:26

I might have ice cream for lunch and dinner too. It's so hot. Best thing about being a grown up is making decisions like I will have ice cream for breakfast, and no-one can tell me off.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 19/07/2013 08:29

Grin pr I like it!

mm whoop de whoop whoop. Great news. Keep it going M.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 19/07/2013 09:55

DH has gone to Ireland to have meet with new boss and do house stuff. I said to DS1 " shall we go and do our jobs?" He said. " no, need to go to Ireland first" Smile

Sorry, off to the tip and drop of some of O's old clothes to a lady who has had triplets!! ( she already had 3 adopted children! )

ChasingDaisy · 19/07/2013 10:02

Oh izzy I really don't know how you are coping. I know that every single one of us really feels for you. Would you consider formula? You have done amazingly well to bf for this long but you really need to think of yourself too.

Average night here - 6.45-1.10-5.00-7.40. I have the blackout blind to thank for the lay in Smile

So, quiche, what is the deal with cot bumpers? Good idea, bad idea? Safe, not safe? The 5am wake up last night was due to him hitting his head on the bars of the cot and he keeps poking his legs through them too. I'm worried he might hurt himself.
