J keeps falling asleep down here. DH keeps taking him up to cot. J wakes immediately in cot and this process is repeated again and again!

I called paeds nurses today to query if we could increase his omeprazole. She said that yep that was fine and to up it from 10mg per day to 15mg per day. This seems a massive faff as I will need to dissolve one tablet, give that and then dissolve another and give half. Would it be really awful of me to give two full tabs? He's a nightmare to get the stuff into anyway so I reckon the bits he spits out would probably be around 5 mg anyway? Opinions please?

While I've been typing DH has come back down minus j...success! Bed before 11pm!! Will see how long it lasts!

bp sorry to hear of the scorching heat on the bus. Our hospital pharmacy is always running out of stuff too.

Dr says N has swollen tonsils, and they are big! [Sad]His glands are also up. She said that the cough is most likly viral, Hmm and I did mention reflex but it was dismissed. [confued]

So N has a inhaler for the cough, Envy and paratemol and ibuprofen for the tonsils. So much fun trying to get N to use the spacer. So fucking hilarious!

Kyz that's what the dietitian told me - I said to her I thought it was 20, and she said, nope, it's 17. Makes me a lot less panicky, today we just about hit 17, but there's no way she gets 20!

Am Envy at shortbread. Mentally have added that to the post-bf dairy feast!

They were supposed to be taking them tonight bplp buy cancelled as they are going to a hotel overnight tomorrow and mum was concerned dad would be too tired to drive if j was as bad for them as he'd been in recent nights :-( they are however planning on taking them on fri for me.

fruit any tips to make sure they get the all the dose? I had to hold N head.

I also was counting down the days/hours till I had to go back to work. I hated the idea of letting him go, espally in the last week. Yep I was the very clingy one.

Now it's not too bad, but nights really affect me as I can hear him crying. I cried all the way to work.

Hmmm.... Birthday party? Ill have one, maybe a massive ball pool??

Ooh good stuff bplp will work with 17 as a minimum then instead. I must admit I panicked earlier when he didn't seem to want to finish his lunchtime bottle because I hadn't made a tea time one and he doesn't go below 24oz usually. Almost made another bottle but didn't in the end.

Hope the spacer works and sorts n's cough evil

evil no tips as such, I was just told by the nurse to hold the mask on quite hard so there wasn't any gaps, she also said that if S was crying that was a good thing because she will breathe more of it in.

It's just hit me that i actually saved someone's life today she's fine now, in for obs but recovering :)

I'm giving R lots of watery finger food like cucumber, melon and mango alongside his dinner. That way i know he's getting fluid, plus his water - sippy cup at home, sports cap when out, we share - as well as nutrition.

He's. Just eating what we do now; last night was trout, sweet potato and baby corn, tonight jacket potato with hummus and salad. Think it helps we eat healthy dp is obsessed anyway though. My ice cream in bed is counteracted by the fact we regularly hit all 5 for the day in one meal

Haven't read but need to share this. I am the WORST person in the world.

I sold a car part on Ebay about a week ago for DP. A front wheel bearing. Except it wasn't, it was actually a rear wheel bearing as the angry buyer discovered. We agreed he would come back here tonight to drop it off for a refund, except I completely forgot and went out for a walk with M leaving my phone behind. Returned to several angry voicemails and an angry email. Bollocks bollocks bollocks. Have issues a refund via paypal and let him keep it, surely this is enough?

PS he had already left me good feedback....

XP just complained to me that he is tired. Fuck off. You go to bed earlier than me and roll out of bed at 9am. I'm lucky to get 5 hours in total a night at the moment.

Apparently our mutual friends have all told him that they will stand by him even if he does something stupid Hmm. Basically excusing his behaviour. And all of the girls on his team at work fancy him apparently. What a fucking stud. Angry

Izzy Jonas is on 15mg per day and he's 7.5 kg in weight, am sure given that James is bigger he'd be fine on 20mg per day (as that wouldn't exceed 3mg / kg / day would it?). We split Jonas' dose so he has half in the morning and half in the evening after his tea so that he's freshly topped up before bed. Great news on getting his dosage upped. Breathe deep petal, keep calm, don't stress and he'll be nomming that bread stick cigar before you know it.

Jonas seems to be reacting to dairy and soy free chocolate. Arse biscuits. Chocolate is a common reflux trigger isn't it? Guess when I do a dairy trace challenge I'll have to avoid using chocolate.....

The bear has been a proper whinge carry monkey today, think his throat is still sore after the trace dairy choc I had on Sunday as he got very aerated when laid flat Sad he's been in the ergo most of the day stroking my face, pulling my hair and giggling. Put him down - waaaaah.
