J is asleep on me eventually. Expecting crap night due to daft not feeding today much.

I'm going to bed too. Looking forward to quiche meet. stacks are you coming? Pm for detail as i don't know if your on fb!

MsJupiterJones · 15/07/2013 23:11

Don't know what to do, L has been screaming for the last hr non stop, really high pitched full volume screams to the point he's nearly sick. DH insisting he's just tired. Have given Calpol, temp normal. Am I crazy for being worried?

Bryzoan · 15/07/2013 23:32

Jj - doesn't sound just tired... Nothing unusual happened today / no new foods? Have you checked for any bites / stings? Could a wasp have got to him? Hope he feels better soon. Sounds horrid.

MsJupiterJones · 15/07/2013 23:45

Thanks, he's calmer now, breathing a bit noisier than normal but screaming has stopped. Maybe teeth in which case Calpol would have helped. Poor baby, he frightened the life out of me. He has a light sweat but that could be the heat. So hard to tell what's normal and what's not in this weather.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 16/07/2013 00:04

I'm eventually in bed. DH downstairs with pest boy! I have an hours peace before my shift with J starts....

TheDetective · 16/07/2013 00:38

Have spent 2 hours bastarding pureeing. He better eat them and look damn happy about it...

Now sat with that motherfucking phone AGAIN.

I need to go to bed. DP is settling O who just woke.

Hope for better nights for all tonight. :) Especially certain people!

MadameGazelleIsMyMum · 16/07/2013 03:20

Shit night here. Think S and I have had an hour asleep. It's just so fucking hot and I can't get him cool. He wants to cuddle but that makes him hot again! Going to give it until 4 and then make DH get up for the day. It's so hard - DH has long day at home with DC for which he needs to be rested, but I can't go to work and function, much less perform the way I need to, on nothing.

Oh, and to my neighbours - yes I am in my pants only and standing in the conservatory for the world to see. No, I don't give a shit!

MadameGazelleIsMyMum · 16/07/2013 03:21

izzy I really hope you are sleeping right now. Zzzzzzzzz

FatimaLovesBread · 16/07/2013 04:31

Wake up number two here and she didn't go to sleep until nearly 9:30. Need to do something about her wake ups and her naps and routine and feeding but can't be arsed.
Now got less than 5 weeks left at home so need to sort something in that time.

Hope you are sleeping izzy

So hot and sticky but going to regret the open windows with my hay fever.
M has three teeth so far

izzybizzybuzzybees · 16/07/2013 05:13

On 2nd wake up here. Sounds good right?? Nope he only went to bed at 1am! He fed at 1.30am and about 40mins ago. I can't get him back in cot this time! He's earn managed to be sick on me. He can seem totally asleep but minute he's in cot he wakes crying. Getting yo end if my tether now. I'm roasting, also wearing only pants madam!, and tired! DD will be up in 2 hrs! And I need sleep si I can drive more than 5 mins for quiche meet!!!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 16/07/2013 05:22

Argh! Tried taking him into bed with me but he just keeps crying the minute I lie down. Arching back etc!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 16/07/2013 05:39

Still here. He won't go into cot and won't even lie in my bed.

Am now on floor in his room with him beside me. Think this is the best I'll get tonight. Plus side is I'm lying down now! My friend brought me a folding mattress tonight so we're on that. Annoying thing is I'd normally use throw to cover me but as it's so warm it's on my bed, which dh is in so I'll lying on mattress with no sheet on it and only wearing pants! It's roasting tho so at least I'm not cold! X

izzybizzybuzzybees · 16/07/2013 05:48

Still here. He had settled on floor beside me but is now feeding a bit in bed between crying.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 16/07/2013 05:49

It's at this point I start to thin about formula helping somehow... I simply cannot cope with this.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 16/07/2013 06:01

Great, I've now had to get dh up as I've got a dodgy tummy! This night, or is it morning now, is just getting better and better! Maybe that's what's up with J? I had chilli last night, spicy food and me aren't a great combination, maybe J is the same.... Clutching at straws now aren't I?!

I slept for maybe 40 mins at midnight. Then from 1.50 to 4.30 and that's it so far tonight.... Seriously doubting my ability to manage quiche meet safely... Yet I want to come as talking might help, especially as you guys see me posting all night and know what I'm going through.... Will see how I feel when I drop DD at nursery, that's in 3 hours now!

ChasingDaisy · 16/07/2013 06:02

2 x 2hours sleep. Fuck off you shitty life. And Oscar, go the fuck back to sleep.

Kirrin · 16/07/2013 06:06

Izzy :(

How do you feel about giving formula? You have done so well to cope for as long as you have Brew
Can you push for your paeds appointment to be brought forward - something needs sorting a bit quicker than Oct? Keep on top of the nursery place suggestion too - you need that break.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 16/07/2013 06:11

Now back on floor.

Bryzoan · 16/07/2013 06:15

[coffee] Flowers

Izzy - it sounds like he is still having reflux pain? Any scope to up the meds? If not perhaps demand to see the paeds again? I feel so sorry for both of you. Hope your gut feels better soon.

Madam - you are a lovely wife. I so can't imagine any of the dh's saying they can't wake us at night because we have a long day with the kids ahead...

Chasing - hugs

Hope you are all getting some kip now.

Bryzoan · 16/07/2013 06:16

Kirrin - some bugger has stolen your island!

PetiteRaleuse · 16/07/2013 06:26

Nevermind, Timmy will help kirrin catch those rascal thieves.

izzy sorry you had another awful night.

MissMummy1 · 16/07/2013 06:28

Oh izzy . Can you get the train to stirling and have some lovely quichester collect you? I would offer but already have a bear and his wellies in my car.

Hugs for chasing and anyone else who is awake too.

So, and I feel awful typing this having read of your nights, but I have a new theory on M's multiple night wakenings. Night before last excluded as she was a bugger then. Now I have always said she sleeps better when DP is at work. Fullstop. And always felt awful that he wakes to her before me (am I the worst mother ever?) But last night he slept downstairs with earplugs in in an attempt to get a proper night's sleep. I was awake from about 3am onwards due to my own insomnia. Matilda was asleep. So imagine my shock when he comes upstairs at 3.30am with a bottle for my sleeping baby?! Maybe she does sleep through? Maybe I am not a bad mum? But why the fuck is he waking her to feed her?! Also just now, she is awake but playing happily in her cot - something I am trying to encourage - and he has jumped up to change/feed her the second she made a noise. Confused

Sorry that was a bit epic and rambley. But wtf us he thinking?! I knew she could sleep through

ChasingDaisy · 16/07/2013 06:30

And Oscar FFS stop kicking me. Like father like son, huh?

MissMummy1 · 16/07/2013 06:34

I must add, he claims she was crying hysterically when he came up with the first bottle and kicking her cot. Of course she woke up when he burst her door open, but I had spent the previous 30 mins watching her on her monitor and she was sparko. Def no tears Confused

Maybe he is going funny in the head....

fruitpastilles · 16/07/2013 06:36

izzy your night sounds awful again, I think you should definitely try to push for J's paeds appt to be brought forward!

Well I am up showered, hair washed and straightened all ready for S's stupidly early paeds appt, hopefully they won't be running behind with it being early. The bus will be packed with all the school kids aswell Confused
