Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

We're still size 9-12 months in all clothes Smile bought her some gorgeous summer dresses 12-18 figuring she'd turn 1 in April so that's what size she'd be wearing in the summer but they're all to big on her!

Think we're straight onto tooth 4. Had a couple of lovely cheerful days but she woke up from her nap screaming today and pulling at her gums Sad

Who does bedtime in your house. DH always gets her changed into p.js but then I do the actual putting down in the cot. Problem is now she won't let anyone else put her to sleep. We have a wedding in a few weeks and the evening starts at 7 which is her bedtime so we were going to drop her at my sil before we go and they were going to put her to bed so we wouldn't have to go really late but I'm really nervous she won't settle. How can I a)get her used to strangers (bil and sil live in a different town so we don't see them much and even my Dad who we see often she's still very shy of...) and b)get her used to other people putting her to bed. Dh tried last night and it was a total disaster!

Mumof3xox · 10/07/2014 18:33

I do bedtime always. And wake up time. And most other things on between. Feeling sorry for myself ATM!

Dd is in 12-18 bottoms and just gone into 18-24 tops

Older dc are both short but she seems so long!

birdbrain21 · 10/07/2014 18:49

I don't normally mind doing all the bedtimes and wake ups but going to need to get someone else to do it and very scared it will be a disaster so just trying to prepare dd and myself

Mumof3xox · 10/07/2014 19:17

I don't usually mind

Just feel like am doing everything ATM, not just with dd but older dc and around the house.

Having a bad day!

Cannotbelieveit · 10/07/2014 19:30

H will go to bed for me, DH and my mum and dad. He's not fussy just loves sleep!!

birdbrain21 · 10/07/2014 23:41

Aww mum we all have bad days, hope your fast asleep now and tomorrow will be better Thanks

Mumof3xox · 11/07/2014 07:03

I was indeed fast asleep by then! Thank you!

birdbrain21 · 16/07/2014 11:31

What you all up to today? I'm fed up of the place never being properly clean and tidy, I put everything away every evening and have time for a quick clean once a week but I'm on a marathon cleaning session today just treating myself to a little mn break...Think I got my spring cleaning urge a little bit late Wink

Mumof3xox · 17/07/2014 20:58

I feel your pain bird!

My house hasn't been fully tidy since dc1 was born 6 and a half years ago!

With 3 of them now it's a constant battle!

Mumof3xox · 20/07/2014 08:54

I am starting to think we have reach terrible twos 8-9 months early

Past few days dd is becoming increasingly demanding
She knows what she wants and she wants it now. She will scream blue murder til she gets it. She will throw herself on the floor.

I spent most of yesterday putting her shoes on. Only for her to take them back off and then follow me around shouting "shoe!" As loudly and angrily as she bloody well could

My older two were not like this!

birdbrain21 · 20/07/2014 19:58

Oh no I shouldn't laugh because I'm sure we'll have that sort of behavior soon but your post made me Grin.
Dd isn't walking yet. She'll cruise round the room using the furniture but as soon as we try to get her to stand away from it from she just starts screaming and sits down. I was wondering (brought on by the fact that clarks have a sale on at the moment) should I buy her some shoes, would it encourage her to stand up because it won't be comfortable to crawl around in them?!

Mumof3xox · 20/07/2014 20:06

Shoes, especially clarks, get slated on mn

We bought dd some cruisers from there though when she was walking around furniture and had taken one or two steps unaided

Within a week she was walking confidently. I don't know if the shoes made a difference but they don't seem to have done any harm!

Cannotbelieveit · 21/07/2014 15:54

Hi ladies! Why so Clarks get slated on here?

Mumof3xox · 21/07/2014 18:32

Many mn'ers are of the bare feet until dc can walk a thousand miles brigade......

birdbrain21 · 21/07/2014 20:15

Just because people want their kids to go bare footed doesn't mean they should slate clarks!
I actually went today as I was anyway passing and was very impressed. Dd was very tired and shouted at the poor shop assistant the whole time but she did her job with a smile on her face! Bought her some 'cruising' shoes, we'll see if they do the trick to get her a bit more confident in standing and walking...

Mumof3xox · 21/07/2014 21:36

No I agree

Dd has two pairs of clarks shoes ATM lol!

birdbrain21 · 27/07/2014 18:49

Well I guess I'll never know if shoes made a difference or she was anyway ready but wore her shoes for the first time today when we went to the park and all she wanted to do was walk around everywhere holding our hands. I'm exhausted Grin but it was so much fun and the smile on her face said it all, she's very proud of herself but so am I! I forsee quick trip to the shops now taking all day as she won't want to sit in her buggy Wink

Mumof3xox · 01/08/2014 06:27

Aww that's lovely bird

I haven't let dd "walk" anywhere yet tbh, everything is a bit far from us so would have to take pram too and not sure I can juggle pushing a pram holding her reigns and not loosing older dc

birdbrain21 · 01/08/2014 10:46

I took her in the buggy but had DH with me as well so one of us pushed the buggy and one of us held her hands, she's not really steady enough on her feet to use reigns yet, and I only have the one child to keep an on!

Mumof3xox · 01/08/2014 10:55

Ah I see

Dd is very steady, except for when she tries to run

Cannotbelieveit · 13/08/2014 09:46

Hi ladies. How is everyone? We have standing on his own now, so patiently waiting for first steps now!!! Ryder is 14 weeks now and time is just flying! Nearly coming up to 2year and 1 year anniversary of bfp's!! Cannot happen again this year!!! Shock

Mumof3xox · 13/08/2014 20:48

Haha cannot!

3 so close would be crazy!

Coming up to 2 years since my last bfp!

Seems like yesterday

Cannotbelieveit · 24/08/2014 23:31

Had the implant put in last week, deffo won't be preg for a while!

birdbrain21 · 25/08/2014 13:10

Gosh been so busy and not been on for so long this disappeared from 'threads I'm on' list, don't think that's happened before!
What's everyone up to? After not getting any teeth for over a year they're suddenly coming quickly but in a really strange order she has the two bottom middle ones, two on one side at the top and just spotted one on the other side at the top but near the back...

Cannotbelieveit · 25/08/2014 15:13

Wish he'd let me look in his mouth! We have 8 so far but there must be some painful ones coming thru as his sleep has been disturbing and he's biting everything Confused
